I heard about this book through a friend and I’m glad I read it. The author is from New Jersey (like me) and you can literally hear her voice (and accent) in the text. The story about her ill-fated, long-term romance with a narcissist, and I could relate to it. I’ve dated some horrible narcissistic men, but her ex is a piece of work. It’s so sad that that story is true, but the author overcame it and is shining now.

This is a must read for anyone experiencing life with a narcissist! I have fallen victim to this horrific behavior as well and this book validated all of my feelings. It takes you through the insidious nature of narcissism and shows you the way out. Lynn is a sweetheart and never deserved anything like this BUT……..she got out!! That’s the message and intent of this book.

A daunting journey through the ups and downs of a narcissistic abusive relationship through the eyes of the women that endured the facade of the man she was to marry . The lies, manipulation , constant devaluation of her character and soul and the way she found the strength to walk out . A raw and honest look inside her life .
