As the alpha's daughter, Scarlett was supposed to be a role model. Only, what would her pack think of her once they knew she was fated to the very beings meant to kill her kind. Though Werewolves lived secretly—and peacefully—amongst humans, they were at constant risk of exposing their secret. Being bound to three hunters? Well, that’s a recipe for disaster.
Ezra, Mateo, and Vince
What did one psychopathic warlock, his shockingly gentle counterpart, and a man with selective mutism have in common? A forced blood vow. With Scarlett's mate bond falling into place, they would soon test the limits of their friendship even more. It’s not until their precious mate is taken from them that they realised how much they wanted—needed—her. But do they have what it takes to save her? Or would they lose her forever?
Tanja is a spicy romance author who loves to write about strong female characters, loving love interests, and the occasional vampires and werewolves.
Besides writing she is a mother and nursing student, with a hectic life and an ever-changing work schedule. Writing is her escape from reality in which she can let go of all the stress that comes with managing a family of three and balancing work and private life.
Personally I found this book difficult to digest. The third person pov was hard to follow which made it hard to stay focused and read continuously. I did like the plot and characters but the writing style was not for me. I also don't think the plot line was easy to follow but that also could have been due to the writing style. I did like the mmcs, their personalities and differentiations were well written.

This is a why choose romance, connecting the werewolf shifter Scarlett with her 3 hunter mates, Ezra, Vince and Mateo. It takes her a long time to accept them, as she knows her alpha father and the pack will never allow the match and she will have to leave her family. I understand her difficulty, but at the same time she seems like a prisoner in her own home and her movements and growth are completely restricted. So in the end, it's almost a no-brainer for me! Plus all 3 men are so different from each other and they all want to protect her and make her happy. My main complaint is that the book could have been a bit shorter, as some parts felt too long, but I enjoyed the writing and the world building, as well as the character development. I LOVED THIS! It was absolutely beautiful written and the plot so good!! I loved the leads and especially Ezra😍 He was such a crazy guy but so so sweet😭🥰 The only violent scenes where when the guys were out fighting. Nothing happened to her which I both love but also were a bit disappointed?? I would have liked seeing the guys fight for her and protect her, if she was in danger or something..🫣 But still it was good nothing happened to her.🥰
Although there were one loose end I would have liked to know more about and written into the plot more. Her father. He disappeared and was never heard of again. I would have liked him to be punished for what she was put through with her whole life and how he so easily banished her from her pack!😢 And the mother for letting him do that without a fight😤

I absolutely adore Tanja's work, and Fated to the Hunters reaffirmed this love!
Scarlett, the sheltered daughter of an alpha, yearns for her destined mate. Her world is turned upside down when, during a rare escape from her gilded cage, she discovers she's bonded to not one, but three men, and they're her pack's sworn enemies, hunters!
I could barely put this book down! It was romantic, hot as hell, and full of surprise after surprise. I love how Scarlett blossomed alongside Ezra, Vince, and Mateo. She was able to become this powerful woman, allowing herself to be cared for but also taking charge of her decisions.
I did have a love-hate relationship with Ezra. I just wanted to go through the pages and smack him on the head! But he was so lovable, and seeing him, or better said, seeing all of them heal from their trauma, was so soothing.
If you crave a story with magical warlocks, fierce werewolves, a captivating "why choose" dynamic, and a strong emphasis on male character development, this book is perfect for you!
Thank you so much, Tanja, for the chance to join this ARC. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story had me captivated from page one. Ezra, Mateo and Vince's relationship with each other is a sight to behold. Scarlett fits with them so well and doesn't take their bullshit. This is beautifully written.
The spice in this book was 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶. The plot, on the other hand, lacked. I enjoyed the character development of everyone, but there were no wear wolves in the wearwolves story... that was disappointing.

Scarlett knew that as the Alpha's daughter, she was the one who was supposed to be the role model. The problem was that she didn't know what her pack was going to think of her once they learned that she was fated to the one's that were meant to kill her kind. The Werewolves. Even though they typically lived secretly – and normally very peacefully - they lived in amongst the humans, even though every day they risked exposing their secrets. Making things worse for Scarlett, she wasn't fated to just one of the werewolves. She was actually fated to three of them. She knew that it was actually going to be a recipe for disaster, a national disaster.
Ezra, Mateo, and Vince, a psychopathic warlock, his gentle counterpart and a man with selective mutism, really they had no idea what they had in common or what bound them together But, here they were, with a forced blood vow, and they now found Scarlett's mate bond falling into place. But, none of them knew that with that happening, it would test them in ways they had never been tested before. Their friendship was pushed to its limits, and the ties that bound them together streached till the binds nearly broke. But, it's not till Scarlett, the mate they swore they would all protect with their lives, one they never realized how much they not only wanted but needed in their lives. Now, they need to find out if they have what it takes to actually save her before they lose her forever.
Scarlett is our amazing alpha's daughter. I found her to be kickass, strong, brave, intelligent, and sure of herself. It's when she is out shopping with her dad that she just happens to look up and meet Mateo's eyes. It's in that moment they both realize there's something there, and Mateo knows what it is, but at the same time, he can't risk anything. He has to be sure he's right. He decides to follow her into the next store she goes into, and when he finds her, he feels it yet again. And in that moment, he knows it's settled. She's his mate!!!??? And when his brothers look in her eyes, they feel it too, sealing it that all three of them are Scarlett's mates.
Ezra, he's a psychopathic warlock who you can't help but love. Mateo is the gentle one who you know would never raise a hand to you no matter how angry he was. And then we have Vince. His selective mutism makes it hard for him to communicate at times, but he has learned to make you know how he feels about you at all times. And here, all three of them are just finding out that they are all mated to the alpha's ONLY daughter.
Once Mateo, Ezra, and Vince arrive at their new home, Mateo survey's his new home and changes his perspective. He notices all the silver and can't help but wonder what would happen if he touched Scarlett with his silver ring? They each go to their room. They've studied werewolf culture, and they know full well that now that the bond is awake, she is going to have to accept it. Ezra, Mateo, and Vince are the one's who are trying to figure out how things are going to work out between them and Scarlett. Ezra thinks he could come up with a spell that could maybe speed things up, Vince is purging all his silver, and Mateo is just worried about everything.
They decide to go back to their home, hoping that it will help clear their heads. But, it's hard to stay there, and they don't feel like it's their home any longer. So, they return to the pack, the pack house, and Scarlett. Parking their truck near the house that Scarlett lives in waiting for Scarlett to come out, they don't have to wait long, but she doesn't stay long. Over and over again, this happens. After the third time, the three of them tell Scarlett that they were going to be away for awhile, giving her a phone with their numbers pre-programmed in it with no names, so if anyone else got ahold of the phone they wouldn't know who's number's where programmed in the phone, that and for what ever reason Scarlett still didn't care to know their names.
Scarlett was still trying to figure out how she wound up fated to not one but three hunters. It was NOT normal. The worst part was that if her father found out, so far she'd managed to keep them a secret, he'd kick her out of the pack, expelling her. She just didn't know if she was willing to give up her pack and everything she was used to, her friends, her family, for the three men she was fated to. She couldn't decide when every interaction she had with them ended up with Ezra causing her pain. She enjoyed the company of Mateo. And Vince, it was hard to know about him when she couldn't have a conversation with him.
Then her world comes crashing down around her, her father calls her into his office and tells her that there are to be no more outings. There is a family in the same business as her father's that's competing for business that causing some bad publicity. Scarlett knows that he just wants to keep her safe, and he wants to keep a target off her back.
During the moon festival, Scarlett is at her cabin on pack land, and she finds herself missing her mates. She knows that she can't fight the bond forever, but she's not ready to give up her family and all the activities that she does with the pack.
Is Scarlett going to be able to finally come to grips with her bond? Will the rivalry between her family business and the business that happens to be hunters get to her?
This is such a great story, and I loved every second of it, and I can't wait to read more of this author.

CHECK THE TW with this one as there's some traumas and issues that are worked through.
This was my first book by Tanja Longoria, i was happily surprised at her twisted, thrilling take on the fated mates trope. I enjoyed her writing and the general plot, but I could pick out a few too many little things that bugged me or I didn't like, which is why the rating is so low. However, I will go on to read more, but I'm not in an urgent rush...
While the book contained a good amount of spice, it wasn't as extreme/powerful as I had hoped. And the banter in the book was great and had me laughing out loud sometimes.
There were werewolves, warlocks, an ongoing war, and a forbidden romance that is nothing but tension and trouble. The mmc's were a mix of a golden retriever-like protector, an insane and overprotective warlock, and partially mute warrior, who are all bound to her by fate. Luckily, they are friends, but unluckily- they are hunters!
Scarlett is our FMC, she is a wolf shifter (who our hunters are stalking) and now she must decide if she’s willing to risk everything- pack politics are already strained but thinking about leaving and loosing her family, for the bond she never asked for and has no idea will work is a HUGE decision so is there a way to make it without her world collapsing?
The Why Choose dynamic was really well written. Each mate had a distinct and separate personality that made their interactions compelling and allowed for an enchanting and intriguing character development. Two of the men had their own issues to work through, and to see them working through those and getting over past traumas all through their love for the FMC was personally the best part of the story.
Without spoilers- I would have preferred if the 'ending' had happened earlier in the story, as I wanted to know how the relationship developed when they all decided and told each other what they wanted. I was actually a little annoyed at the ending because I wasn't aware I was at the ending, it felt like it was maybe 75% in because we'd only just learned of what happens when 1 person choose x and one person decided he would be first and stuff and it's like the author got bored so just skimmed over everything as fast as possible and left us wondering about all these new themes.
The pacing did drag at some points, so the 500+ pages did feel ratger repetitive in places. The third-person POV was hard to follow, and quite a few times I struggled to work out who was speaking/ thinking.
FINAL THOUGHTS: If you like a bit of bite with your fated mates, some challenging and thought providing trauma to get through, then give this a read! And if you love slow-burn, tension, a deathly protective yet chaotic GROUP of mates, then this book is worth the read. I enjoyed it, I just wish it was better edited.
Rating: 5/5 I received the eARC for my honest opinion.
You know when you find an author that just knows how to make the spice just right? Well Tanja does, now if you have never read any of her books you need to know that her spice level isn’t for people who are dipping their toes into the smut reading world, but for the ones that have been here for a while and will just eat it right up. If you love smut and you like the following tropes you need to pick up this book: MFC werewolf, MMC a crazy warlock, MMC a sweetheart, MMC quiet/badass, fated mates, blood play, mental health rep.
In this book you will meet Scarlett who is the alpha's daughter who finds out that she is fated to three hunters, and if that wasn’t bad enough those three made a blood bond with one another. However, this might work out for her because they’re all different. She doesn’t have to worry though because whatever mood she is in, she has one of her mates that will know how to handle it, or maybe all three. Ezra, is…well he is the psycho of the group, but I wouldn’t want anyone else fighting their hardest make sure that I am safe, Vince is a selective mute, but he is also very understanding and a gentle giant but he is also a badass, Mateo is the sweetest; some might call him a cinnamon roll puppy and I have to agree. Scarlett is sheltered, and doesn’t know the world outside of what her parents allowed her too, so when she finally chooses the life that she knows is fated to her, her mates help her to thrive, they teach her how to defend herself, they help her really understand herself, and her wants and help her great the life that she has always dreamt of.
I loved getting to see Scarlett blossom when she was with her mates. I loved getting to see her grow into the woman that she was always supposed to be. I found the love and the respect that those men had for Scarlet and that is all due to the way that Tanja writes them. You will see that she does talk about mental health and how it can play a role in the bedroom for some people and to watch Scarlet take her time to understand what one of her mates needs and being understanding about it. I liked that it wasn’t just thrown in the reader's face but you will get a lead up to it and you will have an understanding about it. I found the pace of the book to be perfect for the length of this book (it’s a little longer than her other books, but so worth it), I enjoyed the plot, its character driven for sure and I loved getting to know and understand the characters in the book. I found them all to be well written and can we talk about Vince, he was written so well that I swooned over that silent male.
I can’t wait to see what else Tanja will write because I know I will love it.
I want to thank Tanja Longoria for the opportunity to review this book.
Scarlett is the alpha's daughter. She's out shopping with her dad's guards when she looks up into Mateo's eyes. He feels something but he needs to be sure. So he follows her into a store and when he finds her he feels it. Yup she's his mate!!!!!!!!!!????? Then his brothers look into her eyes and yup all three of them are mates to the alpha's only daughter. Ezra, psychopathic warlock, Mateo, gentle and Vince, has selective mutism and they just found out that they were all three mated to the alpha's daughter. Well now Mateo is looking at his home with new eyes and notices all the silver. What if he'd touched her with his silver ring????? Each go to their rooms. They;ve studied werewolf culture and know that she will have to accept the bond. Now they're trying to figure out to work all this out. Ezra thinks he could concoct a spell to speed up the process, Vince is purging the silver and Mateo is just plain worried. They head home but it's hard to stay so they go back. They park their truck near the building she lives and wait. She comes out but doesn't stay long. This happens three times. The third time they let her know they'll be gone for a while. But they give her a burner phone with their numbers but no names. She doesn't want their names. She's trying to figure out how she wound up mated to three hunters. This is highly unusual. But the worst part if her father finds out he will expel her from the pack. Is she willing to give her family up? Each interaction she has with the three always ends when the cruel one causes her hurt. The gentle one she can enjoys. She's not sure about the other one. One day her father calls her in and tells her no more outings. A family that is vying with business with her father is causing bad publicity. He wants her safe and not to put a target on her back. She's at the cabin on pack land for the moon festival. But she misses her mates. She knows it's only a matter of time but she needs to fight the bond. She doesn't want to give up her family and her activities she does within the pack. Will she be able to finally come to grips with her bond? Will the family that has a rivalry with her family in business and who happen to be hunters get to her? An amazing story of conflict and love that's forbidden.

Tanja Longoria delivers a thrilling take on the fated mates trope with Fated to the Hunters, blending werewolves, warlocks, and a dangerous forbidden romance into a slow-burn, high-stakes story. Scarlett, the strong-willed daughter of an alpha, never expected to be fated to one of her kind’s sworn enemies—let alone three of them. Mateo, the golden retriever-like protector; Ezra, the unhinged yet intriguing warlock; and Vince, the silent but intense warrior, are bound to her by fate, but their relationship is anything but simple. With a forced blood vow, conflicting loyalties, and pack politics hanging over them, Scarlett must decide if she’s willing to risk everything for the bond she never asked for. 💫 What I Loved: The Why Choose dynamic was well-executed, and each mate had a distinct personality that made their interactions compelling. The character development—especially watching Vince and Ezra grow through their love for Scarlett—was satisfying. The mix of supernatural elements kept things interesting, adding layers to the usual fated mates trope. ⚡️ What Didn’t Work for Me: The pacing dragged at times, making the 500+ pages feel repetitive in places. Some tighter editing could have helped streamline the story. The third-person POV was a bit hard to follow, which sometimes made the reading experience feel disjointed. While I liked the MMCs, I personally prefer my love interests to be more dominant without losing their likability. Mateo’s cinnamon roll energy was adorable, but I wanted a bit more alpha energy from the group. 📌 Final Thoughts: Fated to the Hunters is a solid paranormal romance with an intriguing premise, steamy moments, and plenty of emotional depth. While the writing style wasn’t my favorite, the character dynamics and overall story kept me engaged. If you love slow-burn tension, a protective yet chaotic group of mates, and a strong heroine finding her place in a world stacked against her, this book is worth the read. ⚠️ Trigger Warnings: Be sure to check them before diving in!
🖤Length: 586 Pages 🖤Genre: Paranormal Romance 🖤Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🖤Violence: 🔥🔥🔥 🖤Editing: Writing Style was not my jam.
I have read several of Tanja’s Marked by Fate books now and this one was also enjoyable!
Scarlett is the daughter of the alpha and has been “locked away” for her protection. But one day when she was allowed to leave with her bodyguard/friend, she came eye to eye with her mate. I mean, mates. Yes, all three of these hunters are her mates. While she struggles to figure out if she wants to pursue life with her mates or live in the captured life with her family, a certain event happens which forces her to make a decision. Scarlett goes through a growing journey of finding her self and being more independent while also learning more about each of her mates. Each couldn’t be any more different. Mateo is very much a cinnamon roll/golden retriever, the glue that holds their friendship together. Vince is the quiet one, usually the voice of reason. Ezra is the psychopath witch who’s mind won’t shut up unless pain is involved.
I really liked this book, but it was definitely too long. I don’t normally mind longer books, but I felt like the middle kind of dragged on. If we had explored more of the witch village or more hunts or even after the mating ceremony, I personally don’t think I would have minded the length. I did like that the quiet character, Vince, got more page time in this book (in “Tears of Revenge” the quiet character sort of slid into the background and almost seemed to be forgotten.) I’m glad that Tanya took note of that and improved on including a more equal time among all three mates.
Overall, I enjoyed this book! The spice is definitely there, just like her other books. It is more than what I normally read, but it’s a nice change of pace when I read strictly high fantasy.
Tanja Longoria has done it again. Fated to the Hunters is the kind of paranormal romance that grabs you by the throat (in the best way) and does not let go. If you’re a fan of fated mates, complicated bonds, found family, and high-stakes forbidden love? You need this book in your life.
Scarlett is exactly the kind of female lead I love—strong, layered, and stuck in an impossible situation. As the alpha’s daughter, she's expected to lead with pride, but fate has other plans… and those plans involve being mated to the hunters. Yeah—the very beings trained to kill her kind. Talk about tension.
Then there’s Ezra, Mateo, and Vince. Three mates. One with a dark, dangerous edge (hello Ezra 👀), one who's surprisingly soft and sweet in all the right ways (Mateo stole my heart, honestly), and one who barely speaks but still manages to say so much (Vince = quietly devastating). Their dynamic? Chef’s kiss. The emotional complexity between them—especially as Scarlett’s mate bond unfolds—was beautifully written and impossible to look away from. And yes, it gets steamy in all the best, slow-burning, emotionally loaded ways.
I also loved how Tanja handled the darker themes—blood vows, broken trust, complicated pasts—with so much care and depth. You feel the characters' struggles, their guilt, their want to protect each other, even when it hurts. That emotional tension? On point.
This one’s a standalone, but it delivers a full, satisfying arc with so much heart. I absolutely adore Tanja’s work, and Fated to the Hunters only deepened my love for her storytelling. She’s got a gift for creating characters that stay with you.
Longoria is back with #FatesToTheHuntera, another #StandAloneRomance in her #FatedMatesSeries. This one follows the daughter of an alpha who discovers she is mates with three hunters, trapped in a blood bond with one another. It actually sounds like a perfect meet-cute joke: a sheltered princess, a psyschopathic warlock, and two hunters walk into a mall...
Our hunters can't help themselves, staking out the highrise complex of their mates pack. They can't get enough, and are legitimately concerned when they find out just how restrictive her life has been. Scarlett has to go rouge, giving her mates the chance to care for their sweet Scarlett and help her come into her own.
I love a good #StrongSilentType every now and then, and boy did Longoria hit the mark? Not your favourite MMC type? You're covered! Longoria has also provided us with a psychopath that needs a little dominating, and a cinnamon role puppy- you just can't take Vince from me. He's mine, I called dibs!
I enjoyed getting to see Scarlet learn to thrive, the unique relationships she has with each of her men, and the way Mateo, Ezra, and Vince's relationship is described. This one was a little lower on plot and more relationship based, but that can be a good thing.
If you are looking for a book with any of these tropes, be sure to pick it up today! #WhyChoose #FoundFamily #FatedMates #ReverseHarem #SneakingAround

Fated to The Hunters A Standalone Werewolf RH (Marked By Fate book 4) By Tanja Longoria
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶🌶
🐺 A Werewolf FMC 🖤 A Psychotic Warlock MMC 🐺 A golden Retriever MMC 🖤 Selective mute/ reserved bada$$ MMC 🐺 A forced 🩸 vow 🖤 Fated mates 🐺 Why choose 🖤 Touch her and 🪦 🐺 🩸+ 🕯 + 🔪 Play 🖤 Mental health rep 🐺 Multi POV
This sweet poly wereworlf romance follows the story of Scarlett (the FMC) who is the alphas daughter of a pack, well guarded in pretty much a guilded tower if you will, she has zero life experience. Raised to be a mother, cook and clean and look after the children and elderly. She dreams of finding her one true mate. So you can imagine her surprise when she discovers ,on one of her rare outings, that she forms a mating bond to not only one but three males. And the worst part? They aren't Wolves like herself, they are Hunters!
I must say during the course of this book it is amazing watching her bloom into an strong independent woman, discovering the world and being able to do so many things she was not allowed to do beforehand. And her mates? While all so different from each other, they all bring something unique to the table creating a beautiful family.
If warlocks, werewolfs and why choose with a massive helping of Men supporting personal growth is your thing, this book is for you 🥰
Fated to the Hunters captivated me from the very beginning. The world building was on point, I felt like I knew the ins and outs of the story and was never left scratching my head like in other books.
The FMC, I loved her. Scarlett was so relatable in surprising ways and the dedication and love she showed her mates was amazing to see. She has three completely different men with their own struggles in life and she met those struggles head on even when it was hard for her to do. I felt like her family situation played out so well on the pages, her love for her pack and pack life and what that meant for her mates when they met.
Mateo, the pillar we all need. He was the constant force of love and support from day one.
Vince, quiet yet strong in his love. He opens up to Scarlett in ways that made my heart swoon.
Ezra, I have no words for Ezra. The at times brutally honest love who shows Scarlett a different side of herself so as she can love him the way he needs deep down.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily as this story was one I couldn’t put down. I went through this so fast that I went back to read and enjoy it again!
Honest review, the blurb really sounds interesting and I’m an avid RH reader. However, this book is really too long. Usually I don’t mind 500-600 pages on a standalone but the pacing on this one is repetitive at this point I’m just glad it’s over. When everyone got together, it didn’t hold up. I do appreciate the multiple POV.
Now were the characters likable? I guess for some. Unfortunately, I wanted my guys to be more alpha - dominant without being unlikable, less submissive. Those are my personal preferences so I didn’t really take a star out of it. Just informing incase you also expect “more”. There were also some minor errors that could be edited but don’t take away from the story.
Overall, it’s one of the author’s better books. Yes, I’ve read the entire series just for this but you don’t have to. Now will I read it again? No. It’s not bad but the pacing made it a struggle to read. Not enough to DNF. I do appreciate the epilogue as I’m an epilogue girl, that salvaged it for me.
I loved it! If you are looking for a paranormal why-choose romance this is it! There is angst, spiciness, love, self-discovery, second chances, found family, and so much character growth. You get to experience the highs and lows of fated mates that have many obstacles working against them. See the struggle they face with everyday living, the choices they make and sacrifices that were made to have a happy-ever-after. It does not come easy for our main characters at all. Their emotions are put through the wringer, and swing from anywhere from joy, depression, hope, worthlessness, excitement, fear, and a ton of other feels. This rollercoaster of a book was amazing and keeps you wanting to binge read until the end. Everything was well thought out and it reads smoothly, characters were well developed and personalities shined bright on the page. I loved it all and highly recommend diving into this series.

Fated to the Hunters is a reverse harem story of the daughter of a werewolf alpha and her human hunter mates.
Scarlett has lived her entire life as a virtual prisoner in the penthouse of her pack's building. Her father, the Alpha keeps Scarlett secluded and safe her entire life, raising her to be dutiful and a role moedl for the pack. During a brief outing, Scarlett meets Mateo, Ezra and Vince and with one look, she knows they are her mate but is terrified of their connection and the consequences their bond will bring.
Through trials, time spend apart and growing into her own, Scarlett sees that each mate has a special place in her life and she will do anything to keep them.
This is a great love story that allows you to feel the strenthing bonds between each character. Each mate of Scarlett's brings something else to their bond and the culminating relationship is heart warming to see. I recommend this book to anyone who likes reverse harem stories as well as some fantasy elements of witches, warlocks, werewolves and vampires.
I have been reading another series of the author, so being able to read this book was such a dramatic change, so I was a little scared but, please, this is amazing.
The way Scarlett, the FMC, was able to fully grown up to a strong and will-powered woman is precious. This didn't stop her from loving her mates, even if they were not what she was expecting, and together get over their problems and struggles.
Mateo, Ezra and Vince, the MMCs, are so different that maybe that's why they work together so well and are able to give Scarlett what she needs in every situation. Being there for her, protecting her but pushing her to be who she truly wants to be.
It is written in an exceptionally good way, the world building was surprisingly easy to follow and understand. I can't find a major hole that affects the plot or the flow, the pace is also on point. Having everyone's POV was perfect to connect with each character.
Thank you so much @tanjalongoria for trusting me again and giving me the chance of being an ARC.
This book was my introduction to Tanja's work, and I read it as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy).
From the start, I was captivated by the character Ezra, which speaks volumes about me I guess 😅. The banter in the book was great and had me laughing out loud sometimes. The initial 20 chapters were most engaging, and I appreciated the gradual development. However, the pacing shifted afterward, and the book felt somewhat lengthy. Despite this, I enjoyed the character development and the opportunity to get to know the characters, each distinct and endearing.
The book was an easy read, in Anime terms this would be a good Slice of Life Anime. I would have preferred if the characters had married earlier in the story, allowing for more exploration of their bond, particularly the "mind sharing" aspect of their relationship. Additionally, the theme of breeding was not significantly explored.
While the book contained a good amount of spice, it wasn't as intense as I had anticipated.
One of the best why chose fated mates I have ever read! Scarlett is a girl that learns what she really wants and finds her voice through the journey with being mated to not 1 but 3 mates. We learn that family is where your heart is and that no matter what someone may see as flaws someone else may see their missing pieces. I love that we get multi perspectives depending on the chapters. The self discovery and character development is intriguing and they way her hunter mates show they care for her is amazing, the added photos in some chapter give this book a unique touch and also adds to the spice. I absolutely enjoyed myself while reading this and fell in love with each and every one of them. Even had me shedding happy tears about the 93% mark of reading! If you love fated mates, grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers, magic, touch her and die, and spice this book is one you should definitely grab!.

I liked the take on the plot of an alpha’s daughter mated to hunters. The book was written well. Each character had their own form of growth and settling into their new dynamic. Scarlet was able to grow and finally explore the world in her own terms after being essentially trapped in the form of protection.
I do have to say that the plot felt like it fizzled out very early. For me, most of the book felt like a very extended epilogue. I wished it had more plot merged with the characters relationship. So a 3 for the plot but it was written well at a 4. I did like what was there so I rated it a 4 overall.
If you are into more relationships and don’t mind a driving plot then I think this is a good book for you to read.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 5 Stars – A Shifter Why-Choose That Owns My Soul
This book devoured me. And honestly? I didn’t want to be saved.
Scarlett was supposed to be a leader. A protector. A role model for her pack. Instead? She’s fated to the very men meant to slaughter her kind. Oops.
🖤 Ezra—Fire and fury. 🖤 Vince—The silent, watchful shadow. 🖤 Kurt—Danger wrapped in charm. 🖤 Mateo—Softness with a sharp edge.
Every moment with them was a war between duty and desire. And let’s be real—duty never stood a damn chance.
🔥 The spice? Mind-melting. 💔 The emotional stakes? Heart-shattering. 💋 The romance? All-consuming.
Tanja Longoria spun a web of tension, temptation, and a love so forbidden that it shouldn’t exist. But fate had other plans. And trust me—you’ll be thanking fate for this one.
Just couldn’t put it down. It was a page turner and the suspense was too intense and entertaining. I was on the verge of my seat and it was mind blowing. It was forbidden love for the two of them and they couldn’t fight the temptation anymore. That moment did something else to them as they gave into the urge of romance and passion. Mateo and Vince and Ezra and Scarlett were friends and they had to find their true mate for life. Ezra and Scarlett were meant to be together in a romantic way. In finding true love will change everything in their lives and more importantly forever. Will this be a happy ending that no one will expect.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t regret reading or be disappointed. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Trina Jones
Scarlett is a very likable character, navigating finding her way in the world and I love that her mates were there every step of the way.
I loved watching the watching Vince and Ezra grow in themselves through their love for her and Mateo being the absolute puppy he is!!!
There was a little bit of lag in the flow of the story, but overall, I enjoyed Tanja's take on the fated mates trope, adding hunters and witches/warlocks into the mix.
Be very mindful of the trigger warnings in the front of the book.
My only "criticism" would be about the flow and how I, personally, would have enjoyed more lore from other supernaturals included in the story.

This book starts off so strong, with great character building and storyline.
Mateo, Vince and Ezra are complete opposites but compliment each other in a way that works for them. Ezra even had me laughing at some of the things he did and said at the beginning of the book.
Scarlett is timid and scared of her own shadow because of her upbringing, however, she fights the mate bond and makes the three work for her attention.
There were a few things I wasn't a fan of. Scarlett said she would never play favourites, but it was clear that Ezra was her favourite and it was never brought up by the other two. They just acted like it was okay.
The hunt they went on that took up half the book I felt there were a few chapters that were unnecessary.
This book dragged me in. I wasn't sure how I would feel about Ezra but him for her, so many feels.
The way these four grew and matured as individuals and in the relationship (not just romantically but as friends) was great to see.
I didn't understand why they needed to hunt Lycan who weren't bothering anyone and that section stressed me out a bit.
There was a part of the book I had to pause because my worry and overactive imagination got away with me. I guess that lets you know how much I had come to care about the characters.
Wow. I sure am glad I kept reading past my worry. The relationship and family they built for themselves is wonderful. I loved this story!.

Scarlett who is the alpha's daughter bonds? Not one but three men and worse, yet three hunters... Ezra is a psycho little warlock, mateo the gentle golden retriever, and Vince the quiet sweetheart. I gave this four stars because I was very interested in it? I love the characters, but I felt in the beginning. It was a little slow to get into I was like, halfway through before something happened. But then once it started picking up, I was really into it, and could have put it down. Vince is my typical book boyfriend type. Ezra's little psychoticness was it's adorable? But mateo was growing on me throughout the whole book I have

This book was a lovely medium burn. I love the length of the book as i feel it allowed for a rich story, without having to be a serial. I love the FMC so much. I woyld have loved to get a little bit more background on Vince, i felt his story was lacking compared to the others, and also in general more on the MMCs. Altogether, i read this in one sitting. A very enjoyable read without any major emotional upheaval (for me anyway) but with enough action to make it interesting. Will be looking for more books by this author for sure.
