Vengeance brought her home.
Love might be the reason she burns it down.

Sabine has returned to Lynk to deliver justice for her sister’s murder and stop her husband from waging a war that could destroy the realm. To succeed, she may have to topple the very crown she swore to protect.

But Lynk’s court is deadlier than ever—brimming with treacherous allies, spurned lovers, and rivals eager to see her fall. And in the shadows waits the assassin–pirate–prince, whose touch tempts her to abandon duty for desire. Every stolen moment with him threatens to unravel the kingdom she’s sworn to defend.

The final battle for the throne will demand more than Sabine’s crown—it will demand her heart, her life, and the truth she’s feared all along. Because some destinies aren’t given…they’re taken.

This book was stupid! I got annoyed with her constanly moaning about her sisters death and Lottie not being in the dungeon. We get it! All the 'plans/ideas' she had felt like it was made by a 10 year old that didn't know what they were doing. I get that she is young and inexperienced, but hecks, anyone with a brein would know her plans were dumb! I feel like instead of her growing and evolving, she actually went backwards! I loved the previous books and was looking forward to this one. Such a pity....

My new favourite epic romantasy series - it has romance, tension, politics, backstabbing and betrayal!!

who knew 2 years ago I, a newbie arc reader, would request the most wonderful fantasy series that I've read in years.

everything has come wrapped up so perfectly im in awe

the only series I've ever (??) rated ALL THE BOOKS 5 Stars 🌟 wow that ending was brilliant

if not a bit fast paced - this series could be said by some to be rushed but the actual charcters have depth and such intense beautiful romantic moments within all the betrayal and politics

sabine and evander- 10000 million points for being the couples of my dreams- they have the Forbidden Love trope in their clothes and don't let it go until the most eye watering and sweet ending for them in love them so much and can't wait to read this series again and again for them like no notes

the series reminds me of game of thrones to a lesser extent obviously lol but with all the politics and game playing - also gives me nostalgic vibes to when I read the three dark crowns series

also rainer, lottie and heather - never mess with the queen cause now their six feet under - sabines journey to be queen and return home with a sweet man is poignant, she done her ish and now can chill

loved anton and even axel - the traitorous snake (i wouldn't mind a pov /prequel into his and antons life pre series because I have a soft spot for them even though he's a nuisance, they're life was hard and it seems that's how they became to be the way they were - through childhood environment and upbringing same goes for rainer and lottie but idk how I have some compassion because anton actually turned out great despite the emotional/physical abuse of his step fathers court unlike the other 3 so I guess on these statistics only 1 out of 4 will be somewhat emotionally stable and morally grounded)

I cant believe I thought this finale wouldn't be as good as the first two in the trilogy because disappointment in recent years series endings is paramount but I'll be thinking about this series forever 💌👑🗡

Sabine started her journey as a reluctant queen, and she doesn't warm up to the position at all. That's what's most endearing about her, probably. There are a lot of characters that get thrown into the role and immediately own it. Sabine is not one of them. She stumbles blindly from problem to solution to problem throughout the entire series, and it makes her actually relatable.

When she first came to Lynk, she knew she was naive. She knew she was unprepared. She knew she would be outmatched and outmaneuvered by every person in the court. Sabine came anyway. And while she saw much and conquered a little, she stayed the course.

The Royal Throne is the reward for that perseverance. The sheer gall to pursue justice, no matter the sacrifices she must make.

At the risk of it seeming a little spoilery, I will say that The Royal Throne gives us the best 'happily ever after' we could hope for. But to get there, every single character in this book will be dragged through a rough, rough time. Not even the villains are spared. And it's in that emotional turmoil that this book truly shines.

3.5 STARS!!!
The Royal Throne was a good read that was full of action, betrayal, power plays, scheming, threats, deaths and more. Queen Sabine and King Rainer really goes head-to-head in this one and even though he seems to always be one step ahead at the end she comes out on top. I wish I could say that I felt sorry for Rainer, but I didn't and don't, he was ruthless and was determined to take any and everyone out if necessary. I wish that after everything the author would have given us an epilogue with Sabine and Evander because I really needed that. The story had a sweet and happy ending with Viktor and Carin but after all of the buildup and chemistry between Sabine and Evander all we got was a kiss on the cheek. I was completely disappointed! I wanted to read about their HEA. With that being said, this story was good but there were parts that were a bit slow, and it lacked the romance I was hoping for but overall, I think it's a series worth reading.

Sabine shines as one of the most complex and compelling heroines I’ve read in fantasy. Her strength, vulnerability, and determination to do what’s right even when it costs her everything make her unforgettable. The tension between her and the assassin–pirate–prince crackles with chemistry, adding layers of passion and peril that kept me glued to the page.

I need a Book 4

That’s all that needs to be said; I need a book four. Jennifer is so good at throwing you off on who’s good and bad that at times I wondered if everyone was bad. I pray for book four.

It is amazing how much trouble a Royal can get into. With Sabine now married to Rainer, she is Queen of Lynk. She wants to care for her people. War is brewing. Assassins are lurking. Sabine still wants to avenge her sister’s death. Will she find the killer? Can she stop a war? So many twists, turns and traitors to keep the story moving fast.
