Well, just damn! We gone start this thang off with a bang huh? Lawd the drama….. 😤
Miss Koryn was just going through it! First, she is experiencing a month-long trip to celebrate her engagement, only to find out that her fiancé has other plans for her. Disgusted at his audacity, she gets on a plane and runs back home, only to find out that some strange man in her apartment. Girl, your life is a mess! 🤯

Amir, ready to settle down but his current girlfriend isn’t the one. He has been feeling this way for a while but hasn’t had the nerve to break it off with her. Taking time to mull over his options while away on a business trip, he learns that the apartment in which he rented a room is currently occupied. This cannot be my life he thinks! 😡 Koryn shocked me when she allowed him to stay, against her better judgement. However, after a day or so of awkwardness he and Koryn ignite a spark. I enjoyed how they naturally engaged each other with conversation, and making meals to show appreciation of the other. Amir was really feeling Koryn and wanted to explore more with her. I felt that Koryn liked Amir, I just didn't feel that she was feeling him as much as he was her, for them to get together the way they did.

Now, this foolishness with these exes was whew…… Just why? 👀 Take that damn L and move the hell on! 🤬 If Chris has so much money, why does he want every cent back from Koryn after the breakup? Ava didn’t really want Amir for real so why the drama? Just for the fun of it? 😤
I mostly enjoyed this read, however there were parts that really irked my nerves, and felt unnecessary to the story. However, decent read.

Thank you so much to the author for having me participate in their ARC team! The premise of the book was entertaining. The author’s writing style was easy to follow and fast paced. I think this book might be a good recommendation for people who are new to reading or anyone who is looking for a short and sweet Black romance.

Certain aspects of the story could have been developed a bit more (e.g.: the situation with Amir’s job). I also think the book could have benefited from more banter and dialogue between Koryn and Amir to show more of their personalities. I recommend picking this up if you enjoy:

-Forced proximity
-Food and cooking as a love language!
-Black love stories with guaranteed HEA

Simple read, very short and to the point. Plot isn’t anything too crazy, but overall a good story! So sorry but the audiobook is a 1.5/5

Let’s just say this book started with Drama, Koryn who was engaged to Chris, surprised her with a shocking truth about himself, he didn’t just belong to Koryn but multiple woman and those women were cool with it! He thought Koryn was going to be okay since he had money but she wasn’t. She did not believe in sharing her man!

Koryn took the next flight back home only to find out that “Her” apartment had been rented out to Amir by Greta the Landlord. After several rounds of going back/forth about Amir being in the house she decides it will be okay for him to complete his stay.

Amir was at the apartment trying to figure out if he wanted to remain in a relationship with Ava who was nothing but a gold digger.

Will the coincidental Airbnb meetup between Koryn and Amir grow or will it cause another one to bite the dust!

As far as Ava & Chris ……. Let’s just say you’ll be smiling at the end.

This Enemy to Lovers Trope was a great read for the Holidays.

4/5 🌟

Imagine your boyfriend of two years proposes to you and whisks you away on a month-long vacation to celebrate, and during that vacation, one night while you guys are walking into the restaurant for dinner, a woman is already sitting at your table, and your fiancé introduces her as his wife and invites you to enter into a polyamorous relationship with them. This is the reality for Koryn. After fleeing the disastrous dinner hurt and humiliated, she returns home and finds a strange man in her apartment. Amir is startled by Koryn's appearance at what he believes is his Airbnb. He's on a business trip and doesn't need whatever headache this rental situation is going to bring, especially since he's already stressed trying to end his dead-end relationship. When Koryn and Amir meet, there's an instant spark, but can they wade through their own baggage to entertain something new?

This book had me locked in from page one because the first chapter at the restaurant—I couldn't believe Chris had such nerve. Koryn and Amir had such bad luck in the relationship development; both of their exes had a whole heap of audacity, but you really couldn't help but root for them. I loved the instant connection between the two and the fact that Amir knew what he wanted when it came to Koryn. He was so honest and sweet. I will say that I felt that he was being incredibly naive in regard to his ex because the proof was there; why give her any kind of grace? He eventually gets himself together and fights to prove to Koryn that they deserve this chance. This was a fun read, and I kind of want to know what's going to happen with Faye’Jean and Tina.

Omg😭

Chapter one started on some bs, I can’t believe Chris tried to make her a sister-wife. The amount of times I laughed throughout this book should be a record. Koryn deserved her happy ending and I’m glad she was able to walk into Amir after the whole air bnb fiasco. They both had terrible relationships with liars but were able to trust in one another. Ava was crazy as hell, I can’t believe she pulled what she did and couldn’t even hide her evidence. So glad she got her karma at the end of the book.

I would consider this a insta-love romance for sure but it was written well. I definitely enjoyed the story!

𝐈 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 was a fun read and the perfect book to round out such a great year of reading! This is my second book by the author Nisha and I must say, I have really been enjoying her stories and the fun and over the top characters that she brings us in her books! There were so many plot twists, and fun and crazy, and literally unhinged characters, in 𝐈 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 that this one kept me on my toes! Just when I thought I knew what was going on, something else happened that had me laughing up a storm or my jaw on the literal floor! The pacing was great, and I was able to read the whole book in just one day! The FMC Koryn was a sweetheart that has been through it, and I was wishing and hoping and praying that my girl would finally get a respite from this thing called life. Amir, the MMC was of course, the ultimate book boyfriend. He was so sweet and caring but don’t let that fool you, he definitely knew how to keep his woman warm and satisfied in other places. This book was spicy y’all! Overall, this was a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend.

ARC review - 1st, I want to thank the author for providing an ARC to read & review. I’m a millennial reader & I know I’m going to get so much hate for my very honest review 😩 but here we go ….
Rating: ⭐️⭐⭐½
Spice level: 🌶️

This book explores themes of betrayal, heartbreak, & 2nd chances through the eyes of Koryn and Amir. While the premise promises an emotionally gripping journey, the execution leaves much room for growth. Y’all, it took me way longer than it should have to read this bc the story execution was difficult for me to get through. This just wasn’t a gripping story for me.

What Worked Well:
1. Engaging Premise: The story kicks off with an attention-grabbing twist. The idea of intertwining betrayal with an awkward living situation adds drama and tension.
2. Relatable Themes: Readers can empathize with Koryn’s emotional journey and challenges.
3. Moments of Humor: Some lighthearted exchanges bring levity to the narrative, offering BRIEF moments of charm.

Opportunities for Improvement:
1. Character Depth: While the characters have potential, their motivations and backstories lack development. For example, Amir’s calm demeanor after being reported to the police feels underexplored. So many moments in the story that were just left unanswered & could’ve used more development. Adding layers to the characters would enhance reader investment.
2. Pacing: Some dramatic moments, like Chris’s polygamy reveal or the landlord renting out Koryn’s home, feel rushed. Slowing down and exploring the emotional fallout would help build tension and engagement.
3. Dialogue: The conversations felt repetitive or unnatural. For instance, Amir’s explanations about his job or bed bugs read more like exposition than character-driven dialogue. Sharpening the dialogue to reflect the characters’ personalities could make it more dynamic.
4. Plot Realism: Certain events strain believability, such as Koryn’s quick decision to let Amir stay. It made these moments hard to connect emotionally.

Overall:
The book has an intriguing concept, but it falls short of delivering the emotional depth and authenticity that could make it memorable. With more focus on developing the characters and the story, the book could truly shine.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!

This book gave me everything I love in a contemporary romance novel.
Strangers to lovers, messy ex’s, supportive besties, just the right amount of spice, and of course a happily ever after.

So let me just give you a little sauce for your wings!

The main character’s in this book are Amir & Koryn. These two meet for the first time in Koryn’s apartment bathroom, yes you read that right.

Koryn was on vacation with her “fiancé” when she found out she was not the only one. She immediately jumped on a flight and headed home to find a strange man fresh out the shower in her apartment.

Amir looking to take a break from his toxic relationship, he took a job out of town to clear his head, so he rents a “AirBnB” while he was in town for work. Little did he know he was in Koryn’s apartment.

Let’s just say the above sentences should motivate you to check out this book.

Great & easy read. The author had me in a chock hold. After I read the epilogue I was sad because I wanted to keep reading.

NISHA did her big one with this book.

Koryn and Amir were two souls connected by a shared essence, though they remained unaware of it. Koryn was riding a wave of joy during a trip with her partner, convinced it was leading to a bright future. Little did she know, she was being prepared for a lifestyle her future husband had embraced for years. Meanwhile, Amir found himself poised to make a significant change in his relationship with Ava, a woman who was both clingy and manipulative. Their paths crossed due to a mix-up involving an Airbnb listing. In this contemporary and spicy story, author Nisha captivates readers with excellent storytelling while reminding us that relationships can be complex, fluid, and demand authenticity and adaptability. I couldn’t put this book down and finished it in two days, as each chapter was delightful, humorous, and relatable. I wholeheartedly recommend it, as it will make you laugh, cry, and reflect on your own past relationships, offering a glimmer of hope for love amidst the chaos. It’s a fantastic read! Now, go grab a copy of I Found My Forever in You.

What would you do if the man you were engaged to makes you an offer you absolutely refuse to take? Heartbroken and distraught you return back to your home only to find a handsome stranger claiming to rent out this house for a few weeks!
That’s what Koryn finds herself in. In this story we find out how Koryn navigates an end to her relationship with a man she thought she would spend forever with.
Amir is also dealing with his own relationship woes decides to book an AirBnB to clear his mind, comes face to face with a beauty whose house it is for his rental who he has an instant attraction to.

This was a very unique storyline of a AirBnB mix up! It had a lot of drama and kept me entertained while reading it, it was definitely a page turner in my opinion. The only thing I wanted more scenes of was Koryn and Amir together in a romantic sense (mainly dates). Overall I did enjoy this book and would recommend anyone to read it!

Imagine coming home and finding a man in your house because your landlord secretly listed your house on Airbnb. That’s exactly how this story starts — and what could’ve been a nightmare turns into the sweetest forced-proximity romance ever.

Amir and Koryn’s connection is instant but earned. Both come with complicated pasts, but the way they learn to trust and open up to each other felt so genuine. Amir? Absolute golden retriever energy with a hint of cinnamon roll…very thoughtful, patient, and just impossible not to love. Koryn’s cautious nature made her growth even more rewarding to watch.

This is a semi–insta love story done right — heartfelt, funny, and full of tender moments that make you smile. I read and listened to the audiobook, and the narrators? Chef’s kiss. They brought these characters to life perfectly.

A quick, cozy read that left me wishing for just one more chapter and a Hallmark movie. I’ll definitely be reading more from Nisha.

Koryn frustrated me so much in this darn book, but it was so good. The way my jaw was on the ground the first 5 or so pages of the book. I was in pure shock because the AUDACITY was at an all-time high. I'm glad she left and didn't look back, but to come home and find a fine stranger in your home is one way to be welcomed home. Amir and Koryn had a shaky start, but they found their groove. Right when everything was going good for them , here come both of their crazy exes. The delusions of Amir's ex Ava needs to be studied. Sis was definitely off her rocker, but Karma spent the block on her real quick, and I was here for it. Koryn's ex was living in deluluville and kept adding women to his craziness. This was my second book by this author, and she hasn't disappointed me yet. This was full of mess, and I was here for it all.

Amir and Koryn were basically forced to be roommates due to her landlord’s daughter listing the house on Airbnb to be spiteful. Koryn calling the cops then feeling bad was sweet but girl bffr either stand on it or don’t do it. Amir and Koryn had some dramatic ass exes, and both of their exes needed their asses beat. The girl showing up at Koryn’s house cause she tracked Amir was insane. Koryn’s ex basically having 3 wives was insane. Then to show up in her house over that damn ring. I would have shot his ass. The back and forth will they won’t they was okay the first 150 pages but when you got to page 229 and they were still not together it got annoying. The build up to them agreeing to be together was too damn long. Then it rushed them being together and skipped forward months. Again didn’t get enough time to enjoy them being together.

Slow Burn

This story follows both Koryn and Amir. In a very strange way then ended up living with each other for a few weeks! While dealing with their own personal obstacles they begin to start to like each other! Of course, starting something new with someone will at times bring in hurdles! However, we watched as they worked their way through those so they could be together.

Overall, it was a good read! I do feel like it was kinda rushed toward the end! We really didn’t get to see much of them together! I would have loved to see less of those outside problems and more of their actual relationship blooming! Overall good fluffy read!

Thanks to the author for allowing me to be apart of her ARC team!

I Found My Forever In You

This book was too many things. First up Chris, Koryn's ex. Dude was a serial cheater who fixed up by saying men in the Bible had many wives. He thought he was Solomon and had a harem. Second, Ava, Amir's ex. Chick was a golddigger drama queen. She wanted Amir for what he had. She didn't love him at all.

Amir wasn't your typical unhinged street ninja. He was a hardworking guy who made six figures the legal way. Don't get it twisted though, he was Hood just not in the way we usually get. Koryn was the plus beauty who always picked the wrong man...her words. A mixed up rental brings the two together. And even with all the drama, they end up falling in love.

All in all, love always wins.

Loved it!!

This is my first read from this author and I must say I enjoyed it!! The story started off with drama and kept you engaged. I hated how Amiri was not just man enough to end things with Ava knowing he didn’t see a future for them. To me that was reason enough he shouldn’t have needed anything else. But I am glad he took heed to the information the unknown person was sending. I am also glad he didn’t give up on what he was feeling for Koryn. I am glad Koryn didn’t give Chris’ proposal a second thought. She pissed me off when she called the police. I am also glad that she didn’t give up on Amiri, she allowed him to conclude his business so it wouldn’t interfere with them. Five stars Ms. NISHA🥰

what a sweet love story

Koryn and Amir — what a sweet story.
Sometimes love finds you in the most unique ways. I have to agree with Koryn — there’s definitely pee and poop in the dating pool! And let’s just say, her fiancé put the A in audacity.

Amir wasn’t much better in the relationship department either. From the beginning, he was already thinking of ways to end things with Ava.

This was a very well-written story. I truly appreciate how thought-out the characters were. It had drama, but nothing too far-fetched or over the top. It’s definitely a slow burn with just the right amount of tension.

Amir & Koryn

This was a cute insta love romance. After Koryn (FMC), a devastating break up with Chris, she went home to find a man in her apartment. Amir (MMC) was just as shocked to see Koryn as she was to see him. Amir wanted some space and time to think about what he wanted with his girlfriend Ava, but Koryn threw a wrench in that plan. Well, Ava crazy tail put an end to any chances of them being together. Amir felt something almost immediately, while Koryn was scared and nervous to address any feelings that she may have.

This book was a palette cleaner for me, and I enjoyed every second of it. I read this straight through.

I could not put this book down! From the very first page, it opened with shock value, immediately pulling me in and setting the tone for what I knew would be an epic ending—and it absolutely delivered. The title, My Forever In You, is so fitting for the story.

This book was beautiful in its exploration of love and resilience. The characters faced so many obstacles that I often doubted whether they would make it. But as the story unfolded, it became clear that there are no coincidences—every bit of chaos ultimately led to something profoundly meaningful and beautiful.

Koryn’s overthinking frustrated me at times, but her pain and past hurt made her reactions so relatable. Seeing life through the lens of pain is something many of us can understand, and her growth throughout the story added depth to the narrative.

Overall, this was a fantastic read, full of emotion and heart, and I look forward to diving into more of NISHA’s work in the future! Highly recommend!

Almost

This is a really good story that I almost didn’t finish. Not because it was a bad story, but because I made up in my mind how the FMC and MMC should handle their problems (they had a number of problems with their exes) and doggone it I needed to see some hands being thrown! I took a break and got rid of my preconceived ideas and just read the book. Nisha did a fantastic job of building the main characters with a good spirit, and just overall nice people. And because they didn’t let their problems overwhelm them for long, you end up with a cute happily ever after.

FINALLY A LOVE OF MY OWN

Koryn and Amir getting for the first time was very accidental. returned to her appt after the man she was with, (Chris) finally told her that wanted her to be his second wife. She was suprised, hurt but mostly Piss of. When she walked into her apt. there was a man coming out of her bathroom. That was the beginning g of something beautiful. They were both in very hard love relationships. Eventually they found each other coming out of relationships that were not working.

A messed up booking turned into forever. Liked the connection between Amir and Koryn even though their start had a little drama. Ava and Chris were horrible and had plenty of drama with their behavior. While Amir handled his situation with Ava, he should have been a more assertive with his stance. It would have been nice to have more info on Amir’s mom, Ray, and Reggie because that was a huge deal for all parties. Would like a story with Faye’Jean and Tory because it definitely took a lot for her to make that decision.

I gave the book 4 stars for its emotionally rich storytelling, relatable characters, and heartfelt message about love and healing. While it was a compelling read, I held back the fifth star due to minor areas that could have been improved, such as pacing or deeper exploration of certain themes. Overall, it’s a great book, just a step away from perfection!

Thank you to the author and publisher for providing an ARC of this heartfelt book. 💌 It was a joy to read and share!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book!

Oh my gosh!!!!! Amir and Koryn!!!!! I LOVE a good insta-love story!!!! This book had just enough drama, and kept my attention the entire time! A tiny bit of spice but it wasn’t the main focus. This love story was very well written!! And I still want to beat Ava and Chris’s ass!!!!!! But Koryn definitely had some ride or dies in her corner!! Loved the friendship ❤️
