Two of my favorite narrators performing in duet? Yes, please!!
A high priced escort and a billionaire pilot given voice by Aiden Snow? Double yes!

The character development wasn’t all that deep, neither was the plot and when the mMC confessed he’d intentionally hidden an important information from the fMC (I could really see his reasonings) she acted silly and messed up. That’s at least how I see it. BUT, besides that, I had a good time with this book, liked both Eve and Adam and their love story and find that this was a solid start to this author’s debut series.

And for the emergency situation Adam had while flying a private jet I will forever be thankful to the author. I was pacing my living room floor, barely breathing, right alongside Eve.

*hums a mashup she may have just invented of Waking Up in Vegas by Katy Perry and Oh, Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison*

Sin City Lights is the first standalone novel in the contemporary romance series Sin City that follows Adam and Eve. He is a billionaire pilot not looking for a relationship and she is an escort with a simple rule: do not get attached. But a shared moment of passion changes everything and sets a new course for them, one in which Adam books her exclusively for a time and in that time…well, you’ll have to read the book.

I adored Adam and Eve! Their characters are layered, and their chemistry is perfect. Though their attraction was fast, the burn is sloooow. Things start getting physical between them way into the book. I felt myself melting from the tension! Think of their romance as a Pretty Woman x Las Vegas vibes. And Adam is just the right amount of protective—exactly the type of romance hero I fall for systematically.

Another aspect I loved was the family dynamic and I’m really excited for the next book in the series that will follow one of Adam’s brothers.

Here are some tropes!
✈️ pilot billionaire MMC x escort FMC
📖 dual pov
🎰 Las Vegas setting
💞 he falls first and HARD
❤️‍🔥 instant attraction but SLOW BURN
❤️‍🩹 overcoming past traumas
💕 family dynamic that is impossible not to love!

Thank you to the author for gifting me a copy. Opinions are my own.

Perfect for Pretty Woman fans who want a “it happened in Vegas” story combined with a little bit of taboo and billionaire romance! 🔥

We follow Eve, who works as a chic and sexy escort in Vegas to pay for her graduation as a physical therapist. She’s gorgeous and a professional ! She will do anything that the job requires, from taking rich men out on dates, being a dinner companion or even giving a special someone the best $ex they ever dreamed of. this book is hella spicy from the get go!

Until one job she meets Adam, a rich, powerful and handsome aviation pilot 👨‍✈️ . Basically every woman’s dream 👀 they have a special chemistry, which blurs the lines between her job and her heart. She starts to decline future dates with him as the complicated emotions get on the way. But their connection is too hard to ignore…

While reading I felt transported to a life of high class hotels, private jets, paradise beaches and stylish fashion! It gave me all the vibes of Pretty Woman and kept me rooting for these two ❤️

I had such a great time reading this one 🤭🤭

I got sucked in right from the start & MY GOD ADAM & EVE (cute huh) had me panting and sweating I swearrrrrr💦💦💦 what got me is that Eve is this high end escort (while getting through school) who is very high up at her agency and it’s this mysterious sexy, & rich pilot that 1. Is able to make her cum & focuses on her even though he’s the one who purchased a VIP package with her, and 2. is somehow able to make her fall for a client for the first time ever!!! These two…. Whew.

I can’t wait to listen to this as an audio because my god I already know it’ll change me

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Tropes:

Pretty woman inspired with a twist
He falls first

I was really looking forward to this book described as he falls first pretty woman hash up sounds great sadly not what you get.

Adam is dull and very selfish he is meant to be a widower who is too busy with work to have a relationship so only gets with escorts. One night with Eve changes this sort of as he books an alternative escort rather than attending an event on his own also receiving a sex act from this other escort all while being annoyed that Eve is booked by someone else.

Eve is also very dull you don't know much about her other than she is studying to be a physio therapist apparently trying to finish school due to her having to drop out after a sexual assault that you don’t find out until 90% of the book. You really know very little about her.

You also don’t find out about Adam’s wife who is very much alive but not a great person they haven’t been together for 7 years.

Adam had issues with Eves job but this is never discussed nothing is really it’s so surface level even when Adam’s business partner Devon had been booking Eve and having s*x with her in elevators across Las Vegas. Also it was implied Devon had further feelings for Eve but this was never really dealt with either.

Skim read from around 40% not sure why I bothered finishing this I kept hoping for some depth or something interesting to happen. Adam didn’t fall first and he did the bare minimum to get Eve so I felt like I had been misled from the start. Disappearing for weeks on end for work for the 3 months he paid for her he was away a minimum of 25 days not sure how this was him falling hard for her?

I was also frustrated with Eve as Adam listened and supported her when she told him about her sexual assault however she did not do the same for him when he told her about his bad marriage and how this ex had treated him she just ran it was so stupid.

Sin City Lights is my first read from Leigh Iverson, and I enjoyed her writing style. She does a great job with character development, making the main characters' journey feel genuine and engaging. However, while the story started strong, the pacing slowed once the MMC and FMC were officially together.

I appreciated the authenticity Iverson brought to the MMC’s career as a pilot and business owner. While sometimes a bit overwhelming, the aviation terminology added a layer of realism that I commend the author for incorporating.

The drama that ultimately brought the couple back together felt a bit out of place in the overall storyline. It didn’t quite flow with the rest of the book, though it still added an element of surprise. Despite this, I enjoyed the story and would read more from this author in the future.

Sin City Lights is worth picking up if you enjoy contemporary romance with well-developed characters and an authentic professional backdrop!

For me, this was pretty good in the beginning, it had a lot of romantic suspense, and wasn’t too far-fetched. It’s the ending that gave me pause in rating this higher. The ending felt rushed and unfinished. It mentioned Eve leaving her workplace after a new offer in a rush and then just went on with the love story line and left her storyline unfinished. Like, did she go back to that job? Did she ever finish school or own her own practice like she wanted?

Also, I didn’t like how Adam kept hiding behind the contract and extending it instead of facing his feelings head on. It could have gone so much smoother. And then the tid-bit about the grandma and how she told Eve to weather the storms, but then she left anyways felt like it was a waste of time and could have been omitted altogether, or she could have stayed and actually weathered the storm, which I feel was the whole purpose of that being written into the story.

i went into this book expecting more and maybe i stopped just before a good plot point. i left the book alone for a few days and the more i thought about it, the more i did not want to return because i just felt like adam and eve were having sex every. single. chapter.

other than that, i liked the back story of how adam started larsair and it’s very clear to me that he loves being a pilot. this book unfortunately wasn’t for me but would be great if you were looking to dip your toes into a billionaire romance where the mmc turned his interest into a career.

Sin City Lights is a captivating romance that hooks you from the very first page! If you're a fan of passionate, forbidden romance with great character growth, this book is a must-read.

Adam Larssen, a powerful and emotionally guarded billionaire, swears off relationships, preferring to hire escorts to keep things casual. But when he crosses paths with Eve Layton, the most sought-after escort in Las Vegas, their undeniable chemistry throws both of their carefully constructed lives into turmoil. What starts as a one-night encounter soon evolves into something much deeper, as Adam finds himself irresistibly drawn to Eve, and she struggles to keep her emotions detached. Their journey from intense physical attraction to a more profound emotional connection kept me eagerly turning the pages, as both characters are forced to face their vulnerabilities and question the boundaries they’ve set.

The book is packed with some of my favorite romance tropes:

Billionaire Hero
Escort Romance
Forbidden Love
Enemies to Lovers
Opposites Attract
Emotional Growth

I enjoyed this book! The chemistry between Adam and Eve is electric, and the emotional journey they take is both steamy and heartfelt. I can't wait for the next book to see where their story goes. Huge thanks to the author for gifting me a copy. All Opinions are my own.

*Sin City Lights* by Leigh Iversen
Sin City Lights #1

Spice Level: 🌶🌶🌶
8 scenes that are filled with spice, heat, and so much chemistry

I am obsessed. I picked up this book at 2 a.m., thinking it would be a safe, low-stakes read that might lull me back to sleep. Big mistake. I was hooked from page one. Fast forward eight hours, and half the book later, I still hadn’t slept—but I have zero regrets.

Adam and Eve (don’t roll your eyes, trust me—it works) are pure fire. Eve is an escort, sharp and self-assured, while Adam is a brooding billionaire pilot who only hires escorts to keep things uncomplicated. That is until Eve crashes into his perfectly structured world. From the moment he meets her, he’s captivated—so much so that he hires her exclusively for three months. She belongs to him now, and he’s determined to make her fall.

The chemistry between these two? Off-the-charts electric. The tension simmers and builds until it practically ignites. And the spice? Oh, it’s scorching.

Yet what makes this book truly addicting is the writing itself. The story is so well told with such realistic details about the aviation world that make it clear the author did her homework in that department.

Leigh’s storytelling skills are unreal, and she’s officially on my “read everything she writes” list.

When Eve is booked for a night by billionaire pilot Adam, she doesn't expect the immediate connection they form. But in her line of work, she knows better than to catch anything resembling feelings, so she moves on knowing that connection will never be furthered. But she underestimated Adam's determination...

Adam may not normally develop feelings for the women he hires, but there's something fascinating about Eve. Once was not enough with her - he wants more, much more. But he has a secret that could be a serious obstacle for them to overcome. If he can explain himself and get past Eve's walls, they've got a good chance at making it work.

I love Pretty Woman, so to find a retelling, one so well written with two great characters, made me so happy! Eve and Adam (cute play on names) have an intense connection from their first meeting, and the way their story plays out is so tension-filled, with lots of delicious spice, and more than a little character growth for both of them. This seems to be the author's debut novel - she's off to a great start, and now I'm really looking forward to more from her and this series.

Sin City Lights is the first book in a new HOT contemporary romance series of standalones. This first installment follows Adam, a Nordic god pilot billionaire who doesn't do relationships, and Eve, an escort who has only one rule: no attachments with her clients. The affair between Adam and Eve is meant to be the attraction of one night, but the explosive chemistry between them is something neither of them expect, and things don't go how they plan!

I absolutely loved this first book! Admittedly, given the premise I was expecting a much raunchier book, but what I got instead took me completely by surprise and defied all my expectations. Think of the movie Pretty Woman, but somehow more fun! The attraction between Adam and Eve may be instant, but this is a SLOW BURN. This worked perfectly because it allowed time for the characters to grow into their relationship, and for them to reveal their layers to the readers. Before I knew it, I was obsessed with these two, and was counting down the pages until they would just put me out of my misery and admit their feelings. This book had it all: emotional moments, delicious tension, and one of my favorite aspects: a fantastic family dynamic! Adam's family is a little jewel, and I'm so happy the next book is going to be following one of his brothers!

My only pickle? There was a bit of a miscommunication moment that made me scream, but it doesn't last long and it leads into one of my favorite moments of the whole book. Trust the process!

Here are some things you can expect from this story:
🩷 pilot billionaire MMC x escort FMC
✨ dual POV
🌆 Las Vegas setting
🫠 he falls first and HARD
🥵 instant attraction but SLOW BURN
❤️‍🩹 overcoming past trauma
🫂 impossible not to love family dynamic

Thank you to the author for the e-ARC! Opinions are my own.

This book offered an engaging storyline, and I enjoyed it overall, though I felt it could have explored certain aspects in greater depth. I would probably give it 3.75 star rating.

Eve, a top-tier escort in Las Vegas, is working her way through college, using her profession to fund her dream of becoming a physiotherapist. A high-paying client selects her for the "platinum package," granting him unrestricted access to her time.

Adam, a workaholic billionaire, avoids relationships, preferring the company of escorts. He meets Eve under unusual circumstances (she doesn't even know what he looks like), and they experience an immediate, undeniable connection.

At a corporate event, Adam spots a stunning woman—the same woman whose been occupying his thoughts—on his friend and co-worker's arm. The story unfolds as they navigate the complexities of their burgeoning relationship, breaking down walls and confronting their individual hesitations about commitment. I particularly enjoyed the scenes with Adam and Eve interacting with his family, which provided valuable insight into his character. The supporting characters, Ian and Jenna, were fantastic, and I'd love to see their stories explored further.

However, I had some reservations about the book:

1. The backstory for the two main characters wasn't fully revealed until nearly 60% of the way through. Introducing this information earlier would have allowed for greater emotional connection and understanding.
2. The narrative felt somewhat superficial. There was potential to delve deeper into the characters' past traumas and their journey toward healing.
3. The abrupt jump to the wedding felt rushed. I would have preferred to see more of their personal growth and development as a couple.
4. The "Adam and Eve" naming convention, while perhaps symbolic, didn't resonate with me personally.

While I would recommend this book, I wouldn't enthusiastically endorse it.

Okay, so Sin City Lights by Leigh Iversen? Solid 4-star read. This book was fun, entertaining, and honestly exactly what I needed for a light, easy romance.

The whole CEO pilot falling for an escort premise?? Say less. It had that perfect mix of forbidden romance and tension that kept me flipping pages. And the spice? Plentiful and well done. Adam and Eve (yes, that’s really their names lol) had some serious chemistry, and I loved the little bits of family involvement sprinkled in—it made the story feel more grounded.

Now, let’s talk about what worked and what had me struggling a little:
✨ The romance was hot, but the emotional depth took a while to hit. Like, I kept waiting for them to really open up and get real with each other, but it felt like they kept holding back. I wanted more connection beyond the lust, and even at 75% in, I was still waiting for those deep convos.
✨ When things finally started happening, I was invested, but I still wished for more of a foundation between them. It was giving passion, but I wanted soul too, y’know?
✨ That said, the writing was engaging, and I did enjoy reading it! The pacing kept me hooked, and by the end, I still got that happy, feel-good romance vibe.

So, if you’re looking for a quick, steamy read with a forbidden romance trope, this one’s a solid choice! Just don’t go in expecting super heavy emotional depth—it leans more toward a fun, spicy romance that keeps things light.

I received an advance copy of this book and this review is 100% honest and influence-free!

3.5/5 rounded to 4 for GR

This was a solid romance book, entertaining, and a nice light read.

I liked the premise of this CEO pilot falling for an escort and it delivered well in that.

The spicy scenes are great and plentiful! And as characters, I think Adam and Eve (haha) were nice. I liked the little bit of family involvement too.

There were some parts that I struggled with, however - they had vulnerable thoughts or deeper thoughts or things to share and always held them back. I kept waiting for them to finally share and get more real with each other, more of a base to their relationship and it took a long time for it to happen - even at 75% I felt like I was waiting. I just kind of wanted to see more than their lust for each other and that part was slow going and I think by the end I still didn’t feel quite there. Things do end up happening and more is revealed but still, I wanted *more depth* for them.

Buuut this did keep me turning pages and was written well, I did enjoy reading it overall. I would maybe recommend it for just a lighter read that doesn’t get too deep but you still get the happy love feeling by the end.

Deeply intense connection between Eve and Adam from the first night, but their attraction simmers hotly for about 40% of the book before it’s consummated fully.

Adam is a billionaire CEO and airline pilot. He has kept his personal connects limited to escorts and no feelings for 7 years. He sees Eve and his reaction to her are surprising in their intensity.

I loved how these two slowly build a close personal connection that grows throughout the book. Neither one of them are comfortable with having feelings grow, but it’s inevitable with their level of connection.

Both of them are strongly possessive and get upset over even the idea of the other being physically involved with someone else. Eve is blown away by Adam’s family and their big happy bond.

This book was entertaining and intriguing from start to finish. Topics I thought might have me a little squeamish over (escort business, other clients) were handled in a mature and unsensational manner which made it non-triggering for me.

I truly enjoyed this book and love the idea of getting to know Adam’s brother Ian in the next book.

I received a free ARC from the author and The Author Agency; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Adam and Eve 😩😩🔥 These two have my entire heart! The tropes and micro tropes in this book 🥵 I could not get enough of Mr Larssen and Ms Layton 😏 Thank you so much for the ARC, Leigh Iverson, I appreciate it so much 🥹

Adam Larssen 🥵 This man is the epitome of confident and masculine 🔥 He drove me insane from the first chapter and not to forget 💧 Tall, handsome, successful, a pilot, the CEO of LarsAir, a billionaire, protective, possessive, touch her and d*e, petty, healthy jealous, obsessed, kinky, and has a body and smirk made to sin 😏 We first meet him when he hires Eve, as his birthday gift, but proceeds to make the night about her and not him. At all 😩 I was flabbergasted and immediately fell insanely in love with this man!

Eve Layton 😍 I am so proud of this woman and in awe of her strength. She works for Eleet, a classy escort agency, to be able to fund her studies to become a physical therapist. Beautiful, intelligent, brave, kind, gentle, protective, possessive, reserved, shy, inexperienced, kinky, sunshine fmc, jealous, and insanely in love. The book starts when she's on her way to meet a mystery client, who we find out is Adam, and her life changes for the best 🥹 This encounter changes her life completely because she never knew how things could be 🔥 She is reserved after a traumatic past, which she opens up to Adam about and brings them even closer together 🥹❤️

I love these two so much, their chemistry, angst, love, and protectiveness over each other 😩🥹 The writing, storyline, flow, and characters are out of this world amazing. I love that I got to start this series from this book one, and I can't wait to read the rest of this series ❤️🤭

Sun City Lights" by Leigh Iversen is a stunning contemporary romance that truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. The book is beautifully written, and I loved how it blended emotional depth with the allure of Las Vegas. The chemistry between Adam, the wealthy but emotionally closed-off pilot, and Eve, the strong and complex escort, was electric. Their relationship felt so real, with both characters showing vulnerability and growth throughout the story.

What really impressed me was how the author made it feel fresh and meaningful. Eve isn’t a stereotypical character; she’s multi-dimensional and relatable, and Adam’s journey toward opening up emotionally was incredibly moving. The pacing of the book was perfect, with plenty of emotional highs and heartfelt moments.

This is my first review on Goodreads, and I couldn't be more excited to share my thoughts on this incredible book. "Sun City Lights" is a must-read for anyone who loves contemporary romance with depth and heart. It’s a captivating, slow-burn love story that will stay with you long after you finish it. I’m so glad I found this gem, and I can’t wait to see what Leigh Iversen writes next! Five stars without a doubt!

✨🔥 Sin City Lights by Leigh Iversen is the kind of book that completely sweeps you away—intoxicating, addictive, and bursting with electric chemistry. From the very first page, I was hooked, unable to tear myself away from this fast-paced, sizzling, and deeply emotional love story.

The setting? Vibrant, dazzling, and dripping with temptation. The romance? Utterly breathtaking. The kind of connection that sizzles with every glance, every touch, every moment of tension that had me on the edge of my seat, desperate to see how it would all play out.

Leigh Iversen has this incredible way of crafting real, complex, and utterly unforgettable characters. Their journey is filled with passion, longing, and just the right amount of angst to make your heart race and your emotions spiral. And when everything finally comes together? PURE MAGIC.

This book owned me in the best way—steamy, emotional, and completely unputdownable. If you love a romance that sets your soul on fire, with intense longing, undeniable attraction, and the perfect mix of high-stakes emotions, Sin City Lights is an absolute must-read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seductive, heartfelt, and impossible to put down. I LOVED every second!

"She evoked feelings. He didn't do feelings."

"Nothing worthwhile comes easy."

This was probably one of my favorite reads so far this year! The story gives Pretty Woman vibes while still holding some unique plot lines. The spice is definitely spicy but also very tasteful- much like the work that Eve does as a high-end escort in Las Vegas. I definitely appreciated the balance of spicy and plot as it was very steamy but was also crucial to moving along the plot. As I finished the last few chapters I was squealing, gasping and crying. It was amazing.

As an aviation nerd, I GREATLY appreciated that Leigh painted the industry in such a beautiful light while also being accurate even down to how pilots interact with Air Traffic Control or eluding to the requirements of a sterile cockpit under 10,000 feet. (Told you I was a nerd. LOL.) As someone who's been to Vegas on multiple occasions, I thoroughly enjoyed the characters interact with different landmarks in Vegas. It brought the story to life that much more.

Sin City Lights is a must read for me. It is a beautifully written story that pays homage to the Vegas Strip and aviation industry.

Sin City #1

Eve Layton is an escort with Eleet Escort Services. She is one of the most requested and highest paid so she makes her own rules now. She is also going to college to be a physical therapist and this is paying her way through grad school and then on to a doctorate program.

Adam Larssen is part owner and CEO of LarsAir along with his partner Devon Thomason. He swore off any romantic relationships and only hired escorts and had actually hired Eve. Later she happens to show up at his business reveal party with Devon and he knew he wanted more with her and unrelentingly pursued her even going so far as to book her for an extended amount of time.

Eve always keeps emotionally detached from her clients but Adam is different and their chemistry is off the charts. Both have broken their own rules and they keep getting together.
They both have things they have kept from each other but does it matter? It wasn't supposed to get this deep.

4.5 stars
I wasn't really sure about this book but I was drawn in from the beginning. There are some twists. I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

This is my first read of a pilot romance, and what an addictive and page-turner it was.

Eve's story was easy to connect with, and I found her choices understandable and easy to connect with. Adam is definitely the type A, owner of the aviation company, damaged, brooding book boyfriend that we love to see find a forever with a strong woman. Both of these characters have backstories that have created mistrust in finding their HEA, and even though their chemistry sizzles right off the page (super hot), it takes them a while to find the courage to be truthful. Certainly, one you know their secrets - completely understandable - but until then, I was frustrated with both of them.

I really enjoyed the banter and relationships that Adam has with his family, and the genuine feelings he has for Eve. I recommend setting aside time to read this uninterrupted, because once you start, it's hard to stop.
I was fortunate to receive a complimentary copy of this one (thank you) and happily leave my review.

Story Summary:

Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I liked the book, Adam and Eve have good chemistry, although they definitely have communication issues. They both assume a lot about each other for fear of being hurt.
I was annoyed that . It was something that could have been discussed once they started spending more time together, but I understand it, given their communication issues and pasts traumas.
I thought there would be a bit more of a plot with Adam's friend proposing to Eve.

As such, it's a light, easy-to-read book that also has character development.

Great easy read if you want some spice!

A modern spin on Pretty woman, this was a really fun read that provided some excellent spice!

Eve is a high end escort at her agency and is hired by Adam a hot billionaire pilot. Adam only sees escorts as it keeps everything simple and stress free with no strings attached. However upon meeting Eve, that is all thrown out the window.

Their chemistry was off the charts good!
It’s a good slow burn for the emotional side of the relationship but the spice is there 100%.

I loved Adam’s protective vibe and how Eve broke down his walls. He was really thoughtful and didn’t just splash money on her, his gifts were well thought out and meaningful. I really grew to love him by the end of the book.

It was really nice to see a self assured and confident FMC in Eve. She knew how to look after herself but it was nice to see her let Adam in and let herself be cared for.

Fun read will continue with the series!

Eve: escort paying her way through school, falling in love with a client
Adam: CEO and pilot, falling in love with an escort

WOW OH WOW! This was so so so good!

The Slow burn of them realizing they loved each other was great. They had this undeniable emotional and sexual chemistry. It was so good.

Adam knew there was something about Eve that he couldn’t deny. Eve was in denial. She had personal rules that she wanted to follow. But Adam broke every rule. Everything with them felt so natural nothing was forced. They fell into a routine that was of a couple that was together for years.

They both gave each other something that they both needed. They both wanted the love that they never had. Adam wanted the true love experience that his parents and grandparents had. Eve wanted someone to truly loved her. The unconditional love that you get from family.

I truly loved this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
