I just finished reading bound by oath and I am absolutely blown away!
This book is a thrilling rollercoaster of emotions, blending heart-pounding action with a deeply moving love story.
Charleigh, a fierce vampire hunter, finds herself in an unexpectedly powerful draw to Alexander, a vampire sending them on a freight train of fast and forbidden attraction that neither of them can act on.
The plot takes an incredible twist when she is captured and turned alongside her new lover, forcing her to navigate her new life when the big thing happens. She’s forced to choose between bonds she’s forged with humans under oath and the ones who’ve shown her tenderness rather than punishment.
The author's vivid descriptions and complex characters made me feel every moment of Charleigh and Alex’s struggle and transformation. Despite the darkness, the story beautifully unfolds into a heartwarming and satisfying happy ending that WILL leave you eager for book three with a surprise epilogue form a beloved character.
Bound by oath is a must-read for anyone who loves a gripping, emotional hot vampire journey. Five thousand million stars all the way!

You know how sometimes people say the second book/movie isn’t as good as the first? That is NOT the case here. I feel like this was so much more than the first. I enjoyed the quips that were scattered in this second book from the first one as well!
Alex is amazing in both book, so I was so excited to have him be the main character! He embodies moody, fighter vampire to a T for me. I loved seeing more of his relationships and his growth after he found Charleigh.
Charleigh is such a badass FMC! I really loved the idea of vampire hunter and vampire falling for each other. Her chapters showed the misguided authorities that go after what they don’t fully understand. Her being able to see the misconstrued paths she took, and breaking free is so empowering.
I cannot wait for the third book as this one had me on the edge of my seat, laughing and crying.

This book was an absolute masterpiece! I have always loved vampires, and the forbidden romance between a brooding vampire, and a determined vampire hunter kept me hooked from the very first page. Who doesn’t love an enemies-to-lovers story? 😍
There’s push and pull between them, but the chemistry between Alex and Charleigh crackles with an undeniable intensity! 🔥 Both of their internal conflicts add layers of depth to an already gripping plot.
Charleigh has a struggle between the oath she took and her heart, and I thought that made for a really captivating read. On top of that, I thought that Alex had really great character development after meeting Charleigh, and being captured together made them closer.
This book was perfectly balanced with action, tender moments, and emotions, making you root for their impossible love story despite the odds stacked against them. The imagined world, combined with the exploration of trust, sacrifice, betrayals and loyalty, and redemption, creates a story that's as beautiful as it is unforgettable. ❤️

Wow another great story! Alexander deserved so much for what he’s suffered for and he found his perfect match with Charleigh. Charleigh started as the least likely person he would fall for being a vampire hunter but he proves himself so much she learned how wrong she was. I was so happy at the end and can’t wait for the next one!

I loved this second book so much. The way it started really pulled me in and held me all the way through. I loved seeing past characters show up again and how the push pull between the two main characters presented. I was so here for all the angst, betrayals, heartbreaks, loyalty and so much more it really made me love the story and fall in love with the whole thing. The ending was so good I had a feeling about that character and can’t wait for the next book to continue their journey and hopefully get more insight as to what happened

Okay, I didn’t start off as the biggest Alexander fan, in book one Bound by Shadows. But I have been proven so wrong. I really enjoyed getting to know his character in Bound by Oath.
K.D. Martin really knocked it out of the park, again.
I really enjoy the way K.D. writes, she’s able to capture a readers attention and pull them into the story. Bound by Oath had me entranced and on the edge of my seat. There are some twists and turns, that will leave you thinking, wait what just happened. I cheered, swore, and had happy dances.
I am eagerly waiting for book three Bound by Death.

Loved this book!! It has my favorite trope enemies to lovers! I enjoyed this book even more than the first one in the series! Seriously such a good read I read it all in one day I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series!

I enjoy this book. It has heart pounding action and a love story between forbidden enemies. Charleigh is a Vampire slayer and Alexander is a Vampire. I was not expecting that plot twist but I’m here for it. I love that Charleigh is a badass FMC.

I absolutely loved Alexander in book one. And he did not disappoint in book two!!
Charleigh and Alexander were never supposed to make a connection. He’s a vampire and she’s a vampire hunter. But neither one of them could follow orders.
The downside to this is that they both became vulnerable and captured. When her own people turned on her the only person she could turn to was Alexander.
Their relationship budded from enemies to friends to lovers. Being captured together and surviving the Vampire Hunter’s Order brought these two together.
The spice was sweet and spicy!
The author wrote an amazing build up to book three and I can’t wait!!

Better than the first book. I’m still not a fan of this author’s writing style, but either she’s improved a bit, or I’ve gotten used to it after just finishing her previous book. The story, though not particularly original, is entertaining enough. The antagonist seems a bit too omniscient, but aside from some minor inconsistencies, nothing overly ridiculous happens.

This is the second instalment in the series by KD Martin. And, it’s an absolute masterpiece.
A fantastic story of forbidden love, duty and betrayal, self discovery and romance mixed with moral dilemmas.
A definite Buffy/angel vibe going on here… And boy do I love it!
The storyline is superbly crafted and weaves perfectly around the narrative. Smooth and complex.
It is wonderful to be able to explore Alexander‘s character in this book. We got a little of him in the first book and I loved him from the moment we were introduced. He has a strong and deeply emotional character that feels an instant attraction to our FMC.
Charleigh, is a new character introduced into this world and her story is a powerful one! A vampire Hunter by cohesion. She is strong and a fierce fighter… a total bad ass, FMC.
I cannot praise KD enough for her absolute brilliance with this whole concept and the meticulous way she has developed these amazing characters. It’s absolutely spot-on… Bravo KD
This is a rollercoaster ride from the very moment you begin and you will fall in love with these characters and be encompassed with the heartwarming and beautifully complex love story that is encased in an intense and heart wrenchingly action packed plot-line…
This book will wrench out your heart and shatter it into 1000 pieces only to put it back together again! A vampire and a vampire hunter? Yeah, I knew this was gonna be amazing.
I loved Alexander in the first book, and Bound by Oath just made me love him even more. I really enjoyed getting to know Charleigh's character. Seeing her internal struggle as a vampire hunter and her developing connection with Alexander was so enticing to read. This enemies-to-lovers and essentially forbidden romance served way more than I could've imagined. While I loved the emotions, drama, and action, the spice was so very hot. When he fed from her the first time, everything after she turned. Literally just *swoon*. Also, a big fuck you to Daniel! K.D. Martin really outdid herself with this story, and I am so excited for book 3!

Charleigh is struggling with her job, she is supposed to want to kill Alexander, but she finds it hard because of the connection. When she finds herself in trouble the one person she turns to is Alexander.
These two are great characters, both are strong and need each other. This book has romance, spicy and the right amount of drama.

Vampires of Las Vegas book series, #2 in the line up and I am still here for it! As expected this book will set you on a rollercoaster of twists and turns and intense emotion. The characters are so amazing and the storyline here blew me away. Alexander, our MMC, takes a liking to Charleigh, our FMC. He “turns” her but she still remains torn between two worlds, the one she knew and the one she now is in. I can't express enough how much I loved their story here. This book could go on forever and I would not complain. KD Martin is amazing, I can't wait for book three in this series.

This is a fantastic follow-up to Bound by Shadows and centers around Charleigh, a vampire hunter, and Alexander, a vampire we met in book 1. This is a fantastic take, in my opinion, on my beloved trope, enemies to lovers, with a little friendship mixed in the middle. The story is chalk full of action, plenty of romance and spice, and plot twists that will have your mind reeling! KD has created such an amazing world with this series and I cannot wait for book 3.

Book 2 of the Vampires of Las Vegas series by KD! I loved the first book so I know book two would be great and it did not dissapoint. The FMC Charleigh is a vampire hunter and she finds herself in a tough situation. All she knew was that her life was going to change. I love KD's work and she writes great

I loved Adrian and Aria's story in book 1 of The Vampires Of Las Vegas and Charleigh and Alexander's story in book 2 was just as good! Vampires and motorcycles, yes, please! An absolutely delectably dark and spicy world with suspense and romance seamlessly intertwined into the plot. KD Martin's dark romantasy books are so freaking good! This series is a must-read if you're a vampire lover! I can't wait for book 3!

Thank you to K.D. Martin for allowing me to read a copy of this book. I absolutely loved my experience reading this book. I was excited for Alex's story after reading the first book in this series, but this blew me away. I cannot believe all of the action and how good the plot was in this story. Although I loved Aria and Adrian's story, I think I prefer this book more. I still love the series, and I cannot wait until I can read the third book.
