I enjoyed the story. The chemistry on the main leads needs to be worked on more but I enjoyed none the less.

Krista Lark’s Entangled with Enemy Alpha is a dark and seductive journey into a world where love and danger are two sides of the same coin. From the very first page, I was completely captivated by the tension between the fierce, deadly heroine and the enigmatic Alpha who refuses to back down.
The protagonist is a force to be reckoned with—trained to take down Alphas, she’s strong, skilled, and unflinchingly determined. Yet, the moment she crosses paths with her target, the chemistry between them is electric, undeniable, and utterly unplanned. What makes her stand out is the vulnerability beneath her lethal exterior, and watching her struggle to balance her mission with her heart adds a compelling emotional depth to the story.
And the Alpha? He’s the kind of hero that romance lovers dream of—intense, confident, and irresistibly magnetic. His calm defiance in the face of danger and the way he looks at the heroine like she’s the only thing that matters had me swooning. His possessiveness feels more like destiny than dominance, making their connection even more powerful.
The plot is fast-paced, packed with suspense, unexpected twists, and sizzling moments that will leave you breathless. Every interaction between the characters crackles with energy, blending danger and desire in a way that keeps you hooked.
What truly sets this story apart is how it explores the idea of fate and free will. Their undeniable connection feels fated, yet their choices—and the risks they take for each other—make their bond even more meaningful.
Entangled with Enemy Alpha is a masterful blend of romance, suspense, and raw emotion. It’s perfect for readers who love strong heroines, brooding Alphas, and a love story that defies all odds. Prepare to be swept off your feet—you won’t want to put this one down!.

Well they started out one, way enemies and ended up another way but they do say there is a thin line between love and hate and these two make a believer out of us. Hazel has lived a life that wasn’t really hers sort of raised by an alpha the wasn’t her alpha, he made her do things that went against her moral compass and then she is sent by said alpha to kill her goddess given mate but in disagreeing she is made a rogue the very pack that accepts her is of course her mates pack (now the odds of that) Zade sexy as all alpha of the pack that caught her after becoming rouge he isn’t letting her go he remembers she is his lavender his childhood friend form the orphanage they group in together she is the girl he never forgot, and he realize she doesn’t remember him he doesn’t understand why but while together he learns more about the life she has lived would make anyone forget but this his pack she has to stand up for herself again making her want to walk away but will he realize what’s right there in front of him his mate, will he tell her how he feels, will she finally remember who he is, what happens to the pack she grew up in do those that hurt her pay, and can they find their way …their own way back to own another to happiness?
Hazel and Zade were in an orphanage together and met when 10 and 13. She scared off his bullies who were human not knowing he could have handled it himself. From there, they formed a bond of friendship, only to have him taken away without her knowing. Seventeen years later, he is the most feared Alpha around. Hazel has been tasked to kill him by her adoptive father, but she has no clue he is the same boy from before.
When Zade realizes who she is, he lets her go because they are also mates. She failed, she is beaten and shunned. Now, her new life will start. Life within the new pack is hard. Everyone hates her. They blame her for all things going wrong. The only one who wants her is Zade. So many murders, kidnappings, and the reasons why are horrendous. They have to find who is behind them.
When a secret comes out, things will really go berserk! Many lives on the line. Hazel sees only one way out…will it happen? Read the story to discover all the intricate details, secrets, alliances, and more.
Entangled with Enemy Alpha is an absolutely fantastic werewolf romance. I thought this book is phenomenally written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Krista Lark. Krista Lark continues to prove what a brilliant author she is with each book that I have read by her so far. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know Hazel and Zade as well as seeing their journey unfold throughout the book. The chemistry between Hazel and Zade is undeniably irresistible to the point where neither one of them could no longer ignore what was between them. I do love that Hazel and Zade have a happily ever after to their story. Entangled with Enemy Alpha is most definitely a book that I would give as a recommendation for anyone who loves reading werewolf romances. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing books from this author in the future.

It’s was going pretty good until about 2/3 into the book. Please don’t read this if u don’t want any spoilers*******
The mmc treated and acted towards the fmc pretty harshly. Always doubting her. Acting before thinking. But treated his pack better. The whole pack treated her like crap and he said nothing. Even when she was found innocent more than once. I feel he did not even attempt to make up for it or change. There was no character growth at all. The fmc was dealt a shity hand at life. Her mate hardly any better. I am completely baffled that she forgave him without even talking to him. And all she did was keep apologizing. I can’t read another book and see this happen. It doesn’t make sense to me.
She was raised by an alpha that was not hers Raised to do things she did not agree with. When she's forced to go against her mate, she stands up for herself and ends up rogue. Luckily (or maybe not) the pack that takes her in, is her mates. Then things start to get strange, until she's again forced to stand up for herself and show them all that she's not who they think. Now her mate just has to realise what he has before she's gone again Some deeply disturbing things happen in this story but there is a HEA to look forward to, eventually. Along with justice. The justice part I really enjoyed.

Zade and Hazel friendship begins in an orphanage, their personalities are the a good counterbalance. Without having a chance to say goodbye their are separated and meet twelve years later. Zade recognizes Hazel immediately but she does not recognize him, she is sent by her adoptive father to kill him. Their lives will be changed that night with so much pain, unease and accusations it is impossible to believe they would end upon an HEA. Lots of characters are mentioned with no resolve to the missing Alpha’s daughter’s and distrust is gravely misplaced.?.

This Enemies to Lovers/Forced Proximity Romance Story has an entertaining Paranormal Werewolf Shifter Romance Story, a well-crafted world, and intriguing characters. These characters have unique personalities, complicated histories, and believable interactions. This amazing story has the following: Childhood Best Friends & Orphans who ended up with totally different lives, years later she is sent to kill him, could not kill her fated mate, lost memories, miscommunication, horrible packlife, danger, twists, turns, suspense and HEA.
The concept of this book seemed really promising. I felt however that it didn’t quite reach its potential. I wish there was more chemistry between the main characters. Also, more growth in their relationship especially with how they met.
On another note some of the phrasing that was used seemed not quite aligned with the writing overall. It didn’t flow well. I’m not quite sure how to explain it.

This was a good story. However I felt there needed to be more chemistry between the MMC and FMC outside of the bedroom. The MMC has trust issues regarding his mate. She treated the mate bond more sacred than he did. There was a lot of danger coming from multiple avenues. Quite a good story involving shifters, love, danger and the mate bond.

Welp... This was book number 46 for the year and honestly... I wish I had DNFd it at the 60% mark. The first half of this was okay... but then the writing and editing got super sloppy, the plot became so repetitive that the 267 pages felt like a thousand. The sex scenes have made me want to swear off sex. All in all, my hopes were high and my spirits got crushed.
Used and abused, after she was rejected from her pack, she is found by the ruthless pack next door. Can the would be assassin survive in this new pack? Will she be accepted by her fated mate? How much more can she take of the dark and dangerous secrets of her previous pack. Will love save her or kill her?.

H spent the majority of the book not trusting h. Even when she would prove herself as telling the truth, he still always believed others. I pretty much thought he was unredeemable about the 5th time he didn't believe her. I found it hard to believe anyone would want him or HIS PACK. They were awful.
A lot of drama to earn your position in a pack. The main character in this book didn't really get off to a good start with this, so to speak. I found the book entertaining, but it lacked the chemistry. There was a certain spark missing.
A forced proximity, enemies to fated mates paranormal shifter romance with a possessive MMC who is determined to force her into loving him and a strong FMC fighting for her personal freedom.

I am floored this has such positive reviews. It's so poorly written. A girl named Hazel that smells like lavender and a guy with an unusual name like Zade and they can't possibly fathom that they know each other? I gave up 34 pages in.
I loved how despite everything they were facing Zade and Hazel still found a way to be happy. I knew from the first find the brother was dirty. Everything was too much of a coincidence.
So disappointed, weak main female character. Undecided and bipolar male character. I really wanted to love this book but it didn't happen for me. Chapter 25 repeats half of 24. There's a few other details, but are minor. Sorry.
