Jedes Mal, wenn er Makito durch seine Kameralinse betrachtet, fühlt Tensei sich unwiderstehlich zu ihm hingezogen. Trotz oder gerade wegen der großen Brandnarben an Makitos Gesicht und Hals besitzt er eine einzigartige Schönheit, die Tensei fasziniert. Doch Makito selbst sieht das ganz anders. Seine Vergangenheit brachte ihn dazu, sehr zurückgezogen zu leben. Reißt Tensei mit seinem Interesse alte Wunden auf?

En gros voici les points que je soulève :
Les + :
- PLOT DE BASE INTERESSANT (rien de novateur mais ça on s'en fiche si c'est bien fait) : L'idée de base de l'histoire est intéressante : on y suit l'histoire d'un jeune apprenti photographe qui ne photographie que des paysages à l'exception de ce beau bibliothécaire à la brulure mystérieuse qui l'intrigue. A force de se voir, une relation va se développer entre eux.
Les - :
- Une relation pour moi qui ne prend pas assez le temps de se construire.
- L'histoire de la brulure n'est pas du tout expliquée (alors qu'il y a une emphase permanente dessus, qui explique pourquoi celui qui la porte a de grosses carences sur sa vision propre de sa valeur perso, qui explique pourquoi il a du arrêté un métier qu'il adorait, qui explique pourquoi il lui est si compliqué de se projeter dans une relation amoureuse). Je trouve que ce n'est en effet pas une obligation de tout expliquer, mais que lorsqu'on fait tourner autant de questions autour, c'est un peu nécessaire que d'en apporter des réponses ou tout du moins : quelques pistes de clarté.
- Un espèce de pseudo (et très rapide) triangle amoureux que je trouve très peu utile car très superficiellement exploité (comme si c'était là pour mettre un peu de drama mais pas trop non plus).
- Une fin un peu bâclée qui du coup nous fait finir le récit en mode "ah... ok"
Bref, un bon potentiel mais trop peu exploité, chose que je "reproche" aux yaoi d'aujourd'hui (et aussi d'avant mais Yosef c'étaient les premiers)

I’m such a sucker for stories where the photographer falls for their model, but this one hit even harder— because the love came before the camera. Before the shutter even clicked, the feelings were already there, just unnamed.
And the way the burn scars were handled? Genuinely one of the most touching moments I’ve read in a while. The comparison to the Milky Way had me clutching my chest like…to take something he’s so deeply insecure about and turn it into something cosmic and breathtaking? Yeah, that absolutely broke me!! The tenderness in that moment was unreal.
Honestly, I would’ve happily read a hundred more chapters of them just existing together, but I also think the story ended right where it needed to. Poetic, soft, and just really well done. A little gem I’ll probably keep thinking about.

Un one-shot comme j’en li rarement et que j'ai trouvé absolument magnifique !
C’était tellement doux. Tellement beau. Tellement bienveillant.
Makito est ancien mannequin, il a fuit ce métier suite à un accident qui a laissé des cicatrices sur son corps et qui l'ont fait plonger en dépression. Il est maintenant bibliothécaire et va faire la rencontre de Tensei, un jeune étudiant passionné de photographie. Ce dernier va alors apporter un regard d'une grande sensibilité et d'une sincérité pure qui permettra à Makito d'accepter ses cicatrices. Que ces dernières ne déterminent absolument pas qui il est.
La relation entre les personnages prend le temps de se construire petit à petit. Finalement, chacun apporte à l'autre ce petit plus qu’il manquait à leurs vies pour être pleinement heureux. Cette lecture est pour moi un petit bijou.

„Für mich sehen deine Narben aus wie die Milchstraße. Ich finde sie wunderschön.“
Makito lebt ein zurückgezogenes Leben und arbeitet in einer Bibliothek; dort trifft er auf Tensei, der auf Anhieb fasziniert von Makito ist; trotz oder vielleicht auch grade wegen der deutlichen Narben in Makitos Gesicht. Eigentlich fotografiert Tensei nur Landschaften, doch bei Makito kann er nicht anders, als hinzuschauen und seine Kamera auf ihn zu richten.
Doch welche Geschichte trägt Makito mit sich, dass er dieses zurückgezogene Leben gewählt hat und welche Geschichte steckt hinter seinen Narben?
Von diesem One-Shot habe ich mir eine tief gehende Geschichte erhofft, grade wegen der angesprochenen Themen und der offensichtlichen zurückliegenden Traumata. Leider muss ich sagen, dass der Fokus bei diesem Titel doch eher auf der Körperlichkeit und der expliziten Darstellung von intimen Szenen lag, wodurch die Story an sich leider auf der Strecke blieb 🤷♀️
Die Beziehung der beiden entwickelt sich nicht, sondern ist vom einen auf den anderen Moment einfach da und die ersten Szenen lassen nicht lange auf sich warten. Makitos Vergangenheit und die Geschichte hinter seinen Narben (genau das, was mich eigentlich interessiert hat), spielten letztendlich nur eine untergeordnete Rolle und die Ursache der Narben wurde sogar garnicht richtig beantwortet, was ich sehr schade fand.
Wer einen BL-Titel mit viel expliziten Szenen lesen möchte, ist hier sicherlich gut aufgehoben.
Wer, wie ich, den Fokus eher auf die Story und die angesprochenen Themen legt, wird hier eher enttäuscht sein.

This was cute. It's been on my radar for a while and I think my expectations of the story were a little too high. I was expecting something more heartfelt and while this was sweet it just didn't really hit the way I wanted it to.

This one is just so beautiful. I can't.
Okay, so let's start with a short summary.
Tensei likes photography, but he never photographs people until one day he snaps a picture of Makito, who works in a tiny library. From that point on, Tensei is obsessed (not in a creepy way) with Makito, and Makito decides to indulge the young man. They grow closer, but then Makito's past comes knocking on his door.
I enjoyed this one so much, especially because it deals with what happens when you lose your beauty. The thing about Makito is that he is very beautiful, but a big scar covers half his face and neck. And of course you want to know how that happened and why he lives how he lives now.
Makito's past is intriguing, and so is the way he moves.
Tensei is a cute and, frankly, Green Flag character. Everything between them is always consensual, and their interactions feel very natural.
I liked both of these characters, and the art in this one is, honestly, superb.
If you like stories about photography with a bit of drama and mysterious pasts, this is the one for you.

Ein wirklich schöner Band übers Heilen von alten Wunden und einen Neuanfang. Die Geschichte war wirklich ziemlich emotional, denn es ging viel um Makitos Vergangenheit und seinen Umgang mit den Narben. Was mir da gefehlt hat,war die Erklärung zu dem Brand - vielleicht liegt das aber auch an der Länge des Einzelbands. Ich fand seine Verbindung zu Tensei auch sehr schön, leider war mir ihre sexual attraction aber viel zu schnell. Hätte mir gewünscht, dass es anfangs noch mehr um die Gefühle geht. Trotzdem war die daraus resultierende Beziehung wirklich schön, beide haben gelernt und zueinander gefunden. Und Makito kann sich nun auch so akzeptieren, wie er ist. Das andere Model fand ich wirklich nervig, aber so jemanden braucht man ja immer in einer Story. Ein wirklich schöner Band, den ich auch trotzdem empfehlen würde. Vielleicht konnte ich auch aus persönlichen Gründen nicht so mit der Geschichte connecten, wie ich erhofft hatte.

Ugh I love photographer falling in love with their model stories so much, they always have the best dynamics. This one was extra beautiful because the photographer fell in love with him before he even took his photo, but didn’t realize that’s what the feeling was until he finally took the pictures. And the technically former model, his scars were so lovely, and the way the seme complimented them by comparing them to the Milky Way? I about cried for the uke right then and there because I can’t even imagine how beautiful that made him feel after worrying so much about scaring people with his burns.
Just all around a gorgeous story. I could’ve read SO much more about them and their life together but the length was perfect. I didn’t feel like it ended too abruptly.

กลายเป็นว่าชอบเล่มนี้มากกว่า “ยามบุปผาโปรย” ซะอีก เส้นเรื่องน่าติดตาม ไม่หวือหวามาก อาจจะช้ำด้วยซ้ำถ้าใครอ่านวายมาเยอะ แต่ก็ถือว่าซับซ้อนและมีหลายหลายอารมณ์มากขึ้นถ้าเทียบกับอีกเล่ม (อาจจะเพราะความคาดหวังต่ำลงด้วยมั้ง55555)
ทั้งสองเล่มเล่นกับประเด็นที่เรารู้สึกชอบเป็นพิเศษ คือ การหลงรักความสวยงามที่ไม่สมบูรณ์ ยามบุปผาฯ เป็นผู้ชายที่เป็นโรคประหลาด ส่วนเล่มนี้ก็เป็นนายแบบเก่าที่มีแผลไฟไหม้ตามตัว(และแผลใจด้วย) เราชอบเพราะเราเองก็ไม่ได้หน้าตาดีตามแม่พิมพ์สังคม (เรารู้สึกแบบนั้น) พอได้อ่านเรื่องรักของคนที่ไม่ได้สวยหล่อตามมาตรฐานสังคม (แต่ก้หล่ออยู่ดี😚) มันก้รู้สึกดีเหมือนกันนะ ว่าความรักที่ดีเกิดได้กับทุกคนไม่ว่าจะเว้าแหว่งแค่ไหนก็ตาม

Nonostante abbia trovato troppo frettoloso lo svolgersi delle vicende, soprattutto nei primi due capitoli, e poco approfondito in alcuni punti (avrei apprezzato più introspezione e vedere il passato che ha causato il trauma della cicatrice di Makito), è stata una bella lettura.
Nota di merito per la sensualità che aleggia per tutto il volume. L'attrazione tra i due viene ben rappresentata e le scene piccanti non mancano.

Falling star de Migino Yagi és un BL força oblidable entre un estudiant amant de la fotografia i un exmodel amb unes grans cicatrius. La història és massa previsible, les il·lustracions no són res de l'altre món i, en general, falta química entre els protagonistes. En definitiva, un volum únic que es desinfla amb massa moments dramàtics per una resolució suada i evident.

I was drawn in by the cover and Makito's burns but the story was flat, the characters boring (did they even have anything that made them flawed humans) and it felt a lot like I was reading a f/m story rather than a m/m one so of course I was disappointed.

Carino, totalmente nella media dei BL, personaggi monodimensionali, storia sdolcinata senza particolari attriti se non sciocchezze e amenità, personaggi che hanno una dinamica relazionale tranquillamente intercambiabile con una eterosessuale... insomma, non lo suggerirei. Tre stelle solo perché non è offensivo.

Manga krótka, bardzo przyjemna i – przede wszystkim – jest dość duża dawna angstu. Styl jest cudowny. Główni bohaterowie mają milusią i komfortową relację.
