Pretty interesting battle in this volume. Without spoiling, I really like how the result of the battle concluded; makes for an interesting new relationship that’s very unique. There’s a good amount of fanservice and it seems the author/artist felt the need to insert some during the battle scenes; definitely helps the pacing for me.

I’m interested to see how battles continue to unfold and if we’ll see any adventure/journey into unknown arc or even a tournament type of arc. Either way I’m happy with this series at this point now, less niche-ish fetish stuff and just more sexy nudity.

That's what I'm talking about. A big blowoff fight to a number or plotlines that have been simmering for a while now. What makes it all the better is that it all happens in one volume. That is something I have loved about Chained Soldier so far: the pacing. It is such an easy read and everything moves as such a good clip. Arcs or fights that would normally be 4+ volumes in an average shonen battle manga, happen in usually one like a western comic. Like volume 10 here is basically an abridged My Hero Academia arc. The opening salvo between Mira and Kuusetsu is also how you take a rather new mid-tier character and rocket them up the ranks. Mira is dope as hell in this volume.

This has been the best volume since the 1st one. The fight here gets so intense and the double pages provided show it. I know a lot of people read this series for fan service, but seriously you want to root for the girls to win here. Just wow the combat is crazy!
