тут у нас:

еван - агент, який під прикриттям йде у клуб ремі, щоб знати схеми постачання і викрити їх.

ремі - нарко-барон, керує угрупуванням.

хочу одразу сказати, що евана зробили якимось або тупим або занадто самовпевненим. ну звичайно, піти в лігво до боса всієї компашки під прикриттям, звичайно ж ніхто про це не здогадається, а особливо сфотографувати все ж таки ті поставки, спалитися перед маркусом, все ж таки втекти, відправити фото, ті люди нападуть на банду ремі, а потім все ж дивуватися, що тебе в твоїй конторі наїбали і вони самі хотіли забрати наркотики і далі постачати🤡

Not as strong as other JP books I've read but I got to the end so that’s saying something.

The MCs had good chemistry though not as much tension as I'd have liked. The world building was good for such a short book and the conclusion tied things up quite nicely (was worried for a minute about how we’d get out of that one).

What kind of ending is that?!!! I need more!! Give me more!! Seriously though this book was so good. I hated the way it ended because everything just felt up in the air, there needs to be a whole other book for these two on the run together or something. Please I beg of you!!!

I liked both of the characters and how soft they ended up being for each other.

I was confused by the world though because there was no world building whatsoever and there are things talked about that we have no idea what they are because we weren’t told and there was no information on even where this took place or even what era it took place. It was almost like dystopian/sci-fi but again we have no idea. This could be such a great full length novel if the world building was added and we see them get an ending they deserve.

No cheating, Remy gets hit on and propositioned but he’s not interested, almost third act but not quite I guess, very HFN

This was a great post-apocalyptic romance story. This is very different from what this author usually writes, but she knocked this one out of the park. The spice in this was 🔥🔥🔥. I loved the bi awakening as well. This was a short story but still packed a punch.

This story follows Remy and Evan. Evan is an agent who works for the republic. He is sent in undercover to seduce Remy, the leader of a group who sells drugs. He didn't expect to fall for said leader. All is not what it seems and lies have been told. Can Remy and Evan find a way out of this?

The connection and chemistry between these two men was 🥵🔥🔥. I loved the fast insta love connection. I love that despite who Evan was, Remy still wanted and needed him. I really hope we get another story for them to see where they end up North. This author never disappoints!

I thoroughly enjoyed this read
I’ve got to say I didn’t see how Jenny was going to write the end of this book. I’m kind of thinking we are going to get a new kind of mini series from this. The book is about Evan who is a guard/police and he is fighting against drug dealers. His brother died from this drug so he puts himself forward as an undercover agent. He knows that it is going to be a romantic undercover story and when he sees Remy that’s not such a hard act to pull off because the man is stunning. But what do you do when feelings become involved?? It’s hard to decide who wins the heart or head. This is a really good story. I would give it a 4.5 star rating.
these two have undeniable chemistry and a deep connection to one another. The passion is off the charts. I didn’t see the twist coming a really good read. Really looking forward to the next book from Jenny pineapple..

Dark, Post-Apocalyptic, and Erotic - two of these terms fit well together, but you don't normally expect to see all three together. However, it worked, and worked well, in this story. It was gritty, brutal at times, but the undeniable passion between Remy and Evan just jumped off the pages. While it's a short story, there is a lot packed into the story and well developed. You really got a sense of the characters and came to care for a few of them, and despise a few others. I would love a follow up story about these two and how they fair in the North and how getting back in touch with Axel and West works for them.

4.5 - I have really enjoyed the stories by this author, so i was super excited to read this one too. I hope it becomes a series! Love the premise, love how this one is so very different from the author's other series, love the smut! GAWD, so good!! Plus, there's intrigue/action too. It's less than 100pgs, but the author develops both the storyline and the characters well - there's a lot packed in here! Nonetheless, I want more from Remy and Evan, please!

This one is definitely one of the 3 best works by this author. So much chemistry and plot and tension packed in 100 pages. I was hooked early on and kept my interest at peak level until the very end. I’m very impressed. Loved it!
