Kage’s family has used the darkness within them to protect the light in others for generations; All it cost was their humanity. Sable trained for years, making herself a weapon more deadly than the ones her captors used to shatter who she was; She became as ruthless as them. Together, they’ll carve a vicious path to find the truth in their histories; One as bloody as it is twisted.
After the first book, I was really excited for this one. However, it just missed the mark for me. I found the beginning hard to follow, the middle was a bit slow for me and then the last part was the good stuff. I’m glad I didn’t DNF it when I thought I should because I did really like the ending for these two characters. After book one, they definitely got the HEA they deserved.
Side note - if you’re reading the kindle version be prepared for some spelling/missing or wrong word issues. Honestly that could be why I struggled with this book, every time I found an issue it took me out of the story because that kind of thing bothers me more than it should.
In the stunning conclusion to the Savage Rapture duet, Delanie Grimes did not fail to deliver! The twists, the turns, the spice, and the devotion is exactly what she does so well. I absolutely loved this series!
I don’t know how to articulate this duology but if you are a fan of dark Dexter type serial killers and you want them super spicy—then give these a try. You definitely need to check your warnings because some on page events are hard to read but it does add to the depth and understanding of her FMC.
Oh and the author has this ability to magically weave words. It feels in your brain the way dark chocolate tastes…if that’s a thing🤷♀️
ARE YOU KIDDING WITH THIS BOOK!!! The amount of twists that this had will leave you breathless! Kage and Sable are taking no prisoners, they want revenge and they are DETERMINED to get it.
It’s thriller, it’s DARK, it’s romance, it’s amazing. What a great follow up from the first book.
Lots of trigger warnings so please read the list before you pick up this book.
