Master Kori Landry is the head of submissive training at Eros, a dominant butch master whose scary powers of observation have every sub at Eros believing she is omnipotent. However, it's Kori's career as a forensic investigator and scientist in her vanilla life that's given her the detail-oriented, extremely observant traits she uses to good effect as a Dominant of the hottest queer BDSM club in Florida.
While she loves the submissives of Eros and takes their training very seriously, Kori wishes a submissive would come along who was more of a challenge—not a brat, but an uncollared femme who silently cries out for the love and care of a good Master, even as she struggles against her deepest, darkest secret desires.
Coco Devereaux, the younger sister of Giselle Devereaux, is the "perfect" submissive in her D/s world, one every Dominant who meets her wants to own. The complete opposite in her vanilla life—a wild child, a wicked bass player, and the spa manager at Edge, the most exclusive hair salon and spa in the Tampa Bay area—she secretly longs to be able to truly let go with a Dominant. Coco still hides in plain sight because of a past scene trauma, however, only pretending she's the ultimate submissive in order to keep herself safe.
When Master Kori learns that Coco had once been restrained and severely traumatized by a Dominant under the influence of drugs, she understands why the beautiful submissive has sealed off the core of herself and won't completely submit to anyone. But Kori is determined to release Coco from the horrors of her past. Her silent promise to destroy the mental chains that bind the untrusting femme—by demanding Coco's complete and total submission—is what could finally bring Coco the peace and freedom for which she has always longed.
Oy Vey. Every time I go to write this review, I am stumped because words fail me, and I am afraid I won't do it justice. The incredibly talented Tiffany E Taylor hits again with her newest sequel that I have already devoured it twice. The MCs are beautifully crafted, have excellent chemistry, and are intrigued to keep you pulled into the story. The angst is masterfully done, with no break up. The spice level is high. I enjoy reading about the D/s world, learning more about the Dominants, and hoping for a story for each. Taylor creates a captivating entrance for her next book, which is going to be so much fun with the banter and chemistry that I can't wait. I have not found a book by Taylor that has put me off, I jump to read her newest releases as soon as I am done with my current book because I know it will be an incredible adventure. Please continue to bring us more stories.
I couldn’t put this book down. Coco’s journey through her past trauma was written with so much care. Kori is strong and commanding yet loving and tender. You need to experience this story for yourself and see how beautiful it is. I look forward to the next book in this series.
4 stars. I really like this series and how emotional and sexy they are. Coco and Kori were great leads here and oh my gosh did Coco’s story hurt when it was finally revealed. That was a brutal scene to read but it definitely made sense as to why she was the way that she was. Love how patient Kori was with her and how loving and protective she was. They had great chemistry and the spice of course was really good. Super excited for book three but can I just say that I hope Taylor eases up on the ‘fiery Latina’ stereotype that she has riddled Lea as. It’s my one complaint and in the year of our Lord 2025 it’s unacceptable. Other than that this was a great read.
Book 2 of Lavendar Flames focusing on Coco and Kori. Coco is Giselle’s (book 1) sister and Kori is a Dominant and Submissive trainer at the club. Coco is known as the perfect sub, but it’s all actually a way to stay in control. Can Master Kori help her heal so she can be the submissive she truly wants to be? Read and find out!!
This is Book 2 in the Dominants of Eros series — a femme/butch erotic novel with BDSM themes. Expect spankings, healthy power exchange, public nudity, and depictions of sexual abuse (in the interest of portraying the villain’s character).
I couldn’t put this book down until I closed its last page. Tiffany does know how to create intriguing characters.
Coco Develaux is the head massage therapist at the legendary Edge Saloon and Spa, a bass player for the famous Muse band, a lesbian, and a submissive who secretly longs for a dominant butch to help her fully give up control — something she has struggled with ever since being abused as a young and inexperienced submissive 15 years ago.
Kori Landry, a forensics investigator and head of submissive training at Ero Club, finally meets Coco at her sister Giselle’s collaring event. She becomes determined to discover what makes Coco such a perfect submissive, and yet why she holds back. Kori requests 30 days of Coco’s submission during training, intending to uncover the secret that keeps her from surrendering completely.
But hearts have other plans. Their chemistry, D/s dynamics, and everyday vanilla lives click seamlessly. The way their story unfolds — with strong contributions from secondary characters, especially Master Lea and Catalina — makes for an addictive read. By the time Coco’s past trauma is confronted and resolved, the emotional payoff is powerful, leading to a happy ending that will leave you weeping and eagerly awaiting Book 3.
As a former BDSM educator I can honestly say this is the best book containing themes of dominance and submission that I have ever read. I wish it could be mandatory reading for anyone entering the scene because it has the capacity to serve as an example of both the ultimate D/s bond of trust, love and devotion and a cautionary tale of what can go terribly wrong if in the wrong dynamic where safe sane consensual kink isn’t practised. The love, care and respect Master Kori treated Coco with was beautiful and they never once made her feel lesser than for needing to take a break from kink life, he was every bit as lovely in nurturing their relationship in vanilla world. As someone who has been hurt in the scene I found Coco’s efforts to heal so cathartic and the love she had for Kori and inner conflict of wanting to truly let go with them but also keep herself safe was tangible. The way the Eros Dominants rallied around them just as they did in the first book was so supportive and protective. We should all have friends like these! This book healed little holes in me I didn’t even know I still had. Thank you Tiffany.E. Taylor for this beautiful piece of literature.

Promise Me is Book 2 in the series and I would definitely start with Book 1 to get grounded in the BDSM world and familiar with the larger group of characters. I loved this book as much as the first. The MC’s are quite a pair with Kori a Dominant who is a forensic investigator in her vanilla life and Coco who is a submissive and a spa manager. Kori is intrigued because she thinks Coco is hiding something that hurts her in her BDSM play. She is wonderfully protective and supportive of Coco. The BDSM scenes are well done with lots of emphasis on consent. A high spice level! I especially liked the scenes outside of the club where Coco and Kori bond over zip-lining and relax on the deck together. These two have a lot of chemistry and you root for them to be together in all parts of their lives. There is angst and a nasty villain but a HEA that brought tears to my eyes. Was so sad when the book ended but there are indications another is coming!
Tiffany E Taylor blows my mind in this book! I think I love Coco, she is so sweet and vulnerable. Master Kori would be an awesome buddy, would love to hang out with her. If you are unfamiliar with bdsm, Tiffany explains the power exchange in a healthy relationship. If it is your kink, this is her best so far. I absolutely love this book. I wish I had the words to adequately articulate the masterful use of language Tiffany uses to paint this picture. I am in awe. I highly recommend this book. I will say if this is not your kink or you are triggered by a scene of a past sexual abuse event, take care if you choose to read it, though plenty of warning is there. I love this series, and look forward to the next installment.
I’ve read all of Tiffany E Taylor’s works and she just doesn’t miss. This is book 2 in the Dominants of Eros series and it’s as good as, if not better than the first. We see one MC struggling with a past traumatic event and a Domme that displays patience, understanding, and unwavering support. As always, it’s refreshing to see a healthier representation of BDSM, especially in sapphic literature. Can’t wait until book 3!
This is the 2nd book and the characters continue to be strong and well developed. Although the story involves BDSM, the characters are equally strong and attractive. The story emphasizes the importance of consent and adults exploring their desires in mutually safe ways. The story includes the topic of abuse and properly responds. The characters, their relationships, and even humor keep these stories enjoyable.
If you are in the mood for a good butch/ femme story with an emphasis on BDSM then this is it. Vol. 2 is just as good if not better than Vol. 1. Tiffany is an incredible author when it comes to the butch/femme dynamic and I always get lost in her books. Put this one on the top of your TBR list (after checking the cw/tw) you won't regret it!
Coco and Kori met at there BDSM club. I found the story very interesting and the main characters were well. There are trigger warnings because there is a submission, bondage and pain involved. I like the plant and it goes along wall with the other other stories, this author is written. I recommend this book for although it was like a really good story.
I love this series. The books are very dramatic but sooo good. I don't really have anything to say because I'm not very good at reviews, but tbh I love this series. Fun to read and engaging, which is ultimately all I need
Loved it! Even better then the first book in my opinion. The characters were very well flushed out and I found myself on the edge of my seat. I am hoping the author continues this story cause I am dying for more.
