Madi is 20 something trying to figure out what “adulting” is. Madi has been writing stories since she was a teenager she continues to express all her emotions in her writing. She’s also an avid reader. Madi lives in the PNW where she attended college after moving from the unforgiving heat of Arizona. Madi spends her free time with her husband, daughter and family of pets (3 dogs and 2 cats).
I was so excited to dive into this book after that jaw-dropping cliffhanger at the end of the first one! This story picks up right where we left off, and it’s all about Adam, Caine, and Drew doing everything they can to get Max back. We learn more about their backgrounds, and it’s fantastic to see their character development unfold.
I enjoyed how distinct their personalities are! Caine is the wild one of the group—he's a bit unhinged but would go to great lengths for Max. Sharing isn’t his thing, but he’s willing to do it if it makes Max happy. Adam, being the oldest, serves as the voice of reason; he’s calm and mature but struggles with his past and tends to keep his heart closed off. I loved watching him finally embrace his feelings for both Max and Drew. And then there’s Drew—such a sweetheart! His love for Max and Adam feels different yet equally strong, and it’s so heartwarming to see. Max is such a badass! She’s strong, smart, and fierce, yet we also see her vulnerable side as she navigates her relationship with the men. I appreciated how she balances things—she knows she’s in control, and she’s the one who brings everyone together, making their group dynamic complete.
One of my favorite parts was the growth in Adam and Drew’s relationship. Their scenes together were incredibly steamy, and their emotional connection really shone through in this book. Thanks to Max, they finally opened up and embraced their feelings for each other, which was just so satisfying to read.
Overall, I had a great time with this duet! The journey of self-discovery, character growth, and emotional depth—along with those mind-blowing spicy scenes—were all wrapped up beautifully. The ending is beautiful and satisfying, and I’m really hoping to see a certain character get their own story in the future!
I am absolutely OBSESSED with this duet, and this conclusion! Max, Cain, Drew, and Adam are deliciously dark, morally gray, and hot AF!
Heed your triggers if you have any! This has a list like the first one does.
This one picks up where the first one left off (cliffy is an understatement!), & you see Max back where she escaped from, & fighting against her family & fiancé to get back to her men. The way they treat her like an object/piece of property is vile, & I feel zero sympathy for them getting exactly what was coming for them!
Really enjoyed how this one developed and played out, & also enjoyed how it is hiiiiigh spice like book one! Kindle melting spice, MY GAWD!
PS: I am so intrigued by Danner! How she handled everything in helping the boys and Max was mysterious but got the job DONE! I need to know her story & know what the heck she is/does for a living because she is a badass! Fingers crossed for a spin off hehe!
This second installment in the Uncaged Duet series picks up right where the first book leaves off, diving deeper into the dynamic between all four characters. While the story continues to explore their connections, it places a stronger focus on Adam and Drew, with Max serving as the driving force behind it all. I absolutely love how fiercely protective they are of Max, and the spice in this book does not disappoint! If you loved book one, you’re in for another thrilling, steamy ride with this one.
The perfect conclusion to this duet! I love these characters with my whole heart. Every single one of them.
Max is such a sassy bad ass & she finally gets her HEA with three men who would literally do anything for her.
Caine, Adam, and Drew really held the spotlight in this book. You really get to know them on a deeper and more personal level. They let their vulnerabilities show completely and it honestly made the book.
Not to mention, this was hot as helllll 🥵🥵🥵 The group scenes had me literally sweating.
Madi has done a fantastic job dipping her toes into the dark romance world with this duet. It was perfection.
let me direct you to me review for book one: “excuuuuseeee the fuck outta me....this was hot!! hehe & adam being the daddy? i was into it! haha” which is all still 100% true even more so! cause like we get actual “daddy” kink ANDDDD fucking tp with dvp…if ya catch my drift yo!! 🥵🥵🥵 that alone got the 5 stars!!
kinky mentions: -cnc -dubcon/noncon -anal play -group activites -somnophilia (my fave) -stalking -primal play (this was so hot!!) -breath play -snake play (is was hot actually) -masterbation
Chapter 42 altered my brain chemistry and that’s all I have to say.
Book one gave me life. This gave the perfect wrap up to the duet but I fear parts felt too predictable to me. Do not get me wrong, I still loved every minute of it and will reread the duet but this is why I gave it four stars.
Ps. The daddy shmink in this had me short circuiting. I do not know what else to tell you.
5⭐️5🌶 I was scared to go into uncaged desires first don't even remember what made me sign up cause it didn't even had the cover when i did. Maybe the fact that it was dark and with sports mentioned. I loved it at first sight i guess. And it was a 4.5 stars for me. I didn't know why not 5 probably caused it missed the emotional love part. Which why i think it was a duet. The love between each other needed to bloom later and i loved how Madi written them all. The character growth was beautiful and written so well i kind of teared up (which was weird given the situation in the book ahem...) The plot was clear no holes. Nothing left unfinished. Yet i am dying to know about Danner Cal and Alexander. I am begging for a story about them. Comments about the spice like i always do? I don't fucking know. It was so perfect and written well it was doing thing to me i was blushing and giggling and suffocating on my muffled reactions that at one point i read a scene while on a train and the guy in front of me asked me if i was okay. NO BOY SHE CALLED HIM DADDY. This book was perfection. Over and out
I loved this duet. I know it took me a long time to finish, but that was me going through a mental block. Max is our lucky girl who falls for 3 men. 3 men who are close. One owns a gym, the other one works/ is a fighter there, and the last one is strictly a competitive boxer. They're all intertwined together in some way. 2/3 guys are hooking up with one another & claiming it to be "just sex" when in reality it's more than just sex but it defiantly takes Max to show them their connection goes beyond physical. Caine is the fighter who wants Max for himself... he struggles at first to get around to the idea of sharing but understands that if he wants Max he has to share. He defiantly surprises me because although he's a hard ass & defiantly does not play when it comes to Max he respects the connections she has with his friends. Drew was presented in the first book with an injury & while he's healing he's working for Adam aka owner of the gym & head coach. Adam wants to see Drew heal properly so he defiantly doesn't let him ease back into the ring so easily, that kind of creates a bit of trouble between them but again... they still have no problem in the physical department. & our girl max!!! Talk about character development. Max is a runaway. She runs away from her forced engagement and ends up in a small town where she meets the guys at the gym. She's soooo determined to grow strong in every aspect of her life but especially in protecting herself so she's never looked down upon anyone ever again. She wants to make her own decisions & she truly starts flourishing in this new town. Of course when things are going great there's always trouble... her evil ex fiance finds her & forces her to go back home & get ready for a wedding... her parents are more than happy to watch her marry this man for their own benefit, but this time around she has 3 men who will literally fight to the end of the earth to get their girl back & show her she's worth far more than "business" This is truly a jam packed smutty mmmf read 😋
Uncaged Obsessions, a dark why-choose MMA romance, follows Max and her three men — Caine, Drew and Adam trying to get her back. The first installment of this duet leaves off with Max being attacked and abducted by her ex-fiancée in her new home, who in turn carters her back to her family in Texas. Her parents are determined to force Max’s hand into marrying the abusive Carson to uphold their financial and business deals promised from the union.
Tensions are high in the wake of Max’s absence, and the fire does not dim between Drew and Adam 🙂↕️🔥Immediately after finding out Max’s disappearance, her guys jump into action. With the help of a local and friend of Max’s, the four of them are able to get intel to track her down at her upcoming wedding arrangements in Texas. When getting Mac safely back to Seaside, there is still trouble on the horizon for them all. As a result, the guys take their protective, possessive nature to an all time high — and i’m not complaining 🫦
With the issue of the local rogue police officer, and Max’s controlling, abusive parents being all taken care of, our guys and Max can go back to thriving in their crazy relationship just how we like it. With things back to normal more or less, I loved seeing their group and individual relationships flourish more. Adam slowly healing his trauma and opening up more gutted me 😭 I love the gym and fights scenes 👏 honestly what is more hot than a ripped man throwing his body around and fighting for you ?? I’ll wait 👄🙂↔️
Thanks to Madi for this ARC — and thanks for healing me after part one’s cliffhanger.
🖤 Dark MMA romance 🐍 Why choose MMFM (⚔️) 🖤 Pierced MMC 🐍 Men obsessed 🖤 Touch her & 💀 🐍 Age gap
After that cliffhanger of book 1, I NEEDED to know where this went, and I was not disappointed! Without spoiling book 1, which I ADORED, here are my thoughts:
Once again, the men’s personalities play so well together. I love that book 1 was more focused on Max’s story and how she was affected by her relationship with all of the men, and then in book 2 the focus was more a deep dive on each man and the way Max has changed them individually and also as a group.
I absolutely loved how the storyline progressed between Adam and Drew. The MM spice was of course super hot in both books but here we got more of an emotional connection which just ramped everything up tenfold.
If you love dark romance & why choose, absolutely add this duet to your TBR! It’s such a unique story that will continue to live rent free in my noggin 😏.
⚠️ Definitely check TWs before diving in!
Thank you so much to Madi Danielle and her team for the arc of Uncaged Obsessions in exchange for my honest review! ❤️🔥
Uncaged Obsessions is part 2 of the Uncaged Duet featuring Caine, Drew, Adam & Maxine (aka Max).
This story picks up right where book 1 left off when the guys discover that Max is gone. They must rally together as a group with Max’s friend Danner to locate and rescue her.
Max is planning her second great escape from her past life unsure if she’ll be able to leave a second time but is determined to do so and prepared to use all the new skills she’s learned. The only thing in her way is her ex-fiancée and her parents.
When the guys and Danner arrive to save her, maxs ex realizes who they are and takes max back to his house. He’s unsuspecting that Max is prepared to fight, and by the time they others arrive she has already done her damage.
Returning to Seaside the group is questioned regarding Maxs exes death, and they point authorizes in another direction. But they must continue to keep their wits about them incase their actions come back to get them.
Can they manage to keep themselves free and finally have their HEA?
Wow Madi really upped the game with this book, and the spice was definitely spicing !! I’m sad the duet is over, but already looking forward to whatever comes next !

What an ending to this amazing duet. I will always prefer the first book but this was phenomenal.
Caine will forever hold a place in my heart. That man grew and grew through these books. Adam & Drew, pfft, I loved these two and their relationship developing was hot. That scene with all of them... 🤤🤤🤤
This was delicious in so many ways. I almost wished for a bigger finale. A bigger explosive ending but it was sweet and adorable and I wanted an epilogue with children or something but I'm fine, I'll say goodbye to these boys now but they'll forever be in my heart.
I received this book (ARC) for free in exchange for my honest review which I am leaving voluntarily.
Uncaged Obsessions, book 2 of the Uncaged Duet by Madi Danielle @madidaniellewrites. Please read the trigger warnings!!! First off, I am a fan of Madi’s & this book was no different!
I absolutely loved this conclusion about Maxine, Caine, Drew & Adam! Tropes: Dark, Contemporary, MMA, Why Choose, MM, Starting Over, Found Family, Age Gap, Kidnapping Rescue, Somnophilia, Primal Play, Found Family & HEA!
Though I was super excited that there wasn't much of a gap between the release of book one and book two, it took longer to get into this one. Once I was hooked, however, I finished it in a day so it's definitely well worth the read!
Madi Danielle completed this duet perfectly. I was left hanging on book one but she delivered and made me love these characters so much more… Max is a fighter thru and thru and will survive whatever is thrown at her. Caine, Drew and Adam will fight for her too. They will do anything to protect her and the love they have her had no bounds! She’s their “Killer”, “Little One” and “Babygirl”!
Why Choose is not my normal genre but boy did this book give me all the goods and more! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
And just for added measure, you add MMA fighter/ fighter/coach with a girl on the run in trouble you get this spicy why choose goodness!
3⭐️ 3🌶️ This book was fine but I did want a bit more from it. It was a good mindless read but I still didn’t connect with the characters as much as I wanted. Regardless, I would recommend it to people who are looking for a fun spicy read without a lot of plot. But if you’re looking for plot and deeply moving characters, this may not be the one for you.
THE ROMANCE I felt like the love story did run its course and had a decent ending. I liked how the cliffhanger from the first book brought the group closer together and improved their relationship. Some parts were really cheesy and a bit cringey for me, and I did feel like some of the intimate scenes were too frequent or went on for too long where I lost interest though.
THE CHARACTERS I was so excited for Adam’s backstory and honestly I don’t feel like it was worth the build up. We BARELY got anything new out of the backstory that wasn’t already inferred from the first book, so it was underwhelming for me. The other characters were fine and had decent enough stories and growth for how little time they got on the page, since again most of this book was spice with just a tiny bit of plot and character development. I didn’t feel like I got enough personality from the group to connect with any of them though, and I still had trouble differentiating Adam and Drew through the very end because their mannerisms were so similar.
QUOTES:
“Because she's everything to me. She's the one thing in my life aside from fighting that I live for. Even if I had to choose between her and fighting, it would be her. It would always be her.”
"You could ruin my entire life and I would beg you to do it again, little one."
"What do you want to know, killer? I tell you every fucking thing. The way I'm completely obsessed with you, that you changed my life the second you walked into it. The way I've never wanted anyone the way I want you. The fact that I fucking love you,"
Eh this book was just ok I didn’t really feel anything for it. I felt like it didn’t not need to be a duet especially when they get rid of the antagonist in the beginning. I wish more happened but really it was just smut
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
What a finale for this series. This was perfection- I was so hooked and didn't know how Max was going to resolve her past.
I loved the growth in all of the characters and how they finally become a foursome.
I am intrigued to know more about Danner in the future
So many favourite quotes.
She’s just perfect and the fact that she’s ours is a miracle in itself. We’ve all done some shitty things in our lives, but somehow still managed to claim her. Even if we don’t deserve her, we’ve stolen her for ourselves and we won’t be giving her back. Though, she’s no angel either. That only makes her even more perfect in my eyes.
“Just looking at you.” His deep voice is even deeper than normal, and when I open my eyes again I see the primal heat there as he looks at my naked body. “I loved watching you when you didn’t know it. When you’d be sleeping in your bed. When you’d touch yourself.” I let out a small gasp. “You asshole.” He crowds me against the shower wall. “You liked it too. I’ve been obsessed with you since the moment I first saw you. And you’ve enjoyed every second of my obsession.”
“Fuck, killer, do you know how much you mean to me that I’m willing to share you?” he groans, his hips starting to thrust along with his fingers. “I will give you anything you want even if I would rather cut their hands off then let them touch you. I do it for you.”
I don’t have anything else to say about it, nodding and grabbing my hand wraps to get started on my training for the day, especially since I now have a fight. I won’t say it, but I’m glad he already had the forethought to bring Max. It makes me glad that it’s these two fuckers she decided she wanted. If I can’t have her all to myself, I at least want to share her with decent guys. That’s the nicest thought I’ll ever have about them, though.
I feel like a complete mess. I’m sweaty and covered in cum, both mine and theirs. And yet I don’t think I’ve ever felt better. Especially when I’m lifted in a strong pair of arms, I come close to voicing how I feel. It’s on the tip of my tongue, I’m about to say the words I said earlier that were muffled by Drew’s fingers.
“Fuck, little one. You don’t know what you do to all of us, do you? How you have me so fucked up, wanting things I’ve never wanted. Feeling things I’ve never felt. When you were gone and I thought I wouldn’t see you again, I didn’t know what to do with myself. You balance me. You fill all my missing pieces and if that’s not love I don’t know what the fuck else it could be.”
“You’re the perfect woman, baby girl. Perfect for us. Perfect in every way. And you don’t even know it. You not only complete each of us individually, but as a whole. You bring us together. You’re the glue. You’re the only person who could ever get me to say so much at once. You’re the only one who could get me to admit how much I love you.”
“Thank you,” I say softly. “Thank you for telling me; I know it’s hard for you. I know all of this is new for all of us. But this is why I love you. Because you trust me, and treat me better than anyone ever has in my life. You see me for who I really am, and have helped me discover who that really is.” Adam shakes his head, cupping the side of my face. “No, baby. You discovered yourself all by yourself. That was all you, and always will be.”
I crash my mouth onto his to stop the sob that wants to come out, I didn’t realize how desperately I needed these words from all of them. It means more than I can even express. We’re all so imperfect, but together it doesn’t matter. We get to be imperfect together which is what I think makes us even better for each other.
Caine looks like he was carved from stone with the way his smooth tan skin shows his defined muscles that cover every inch of him. His bright blue eyes don’t leave mine; he’s so intense. So perfect in a way I never knew I needed.
Drew is no different, the way his toned body shows the life he’s lived, he has scars all over, even though some are somewhat covered by the ink that spreads down both arms and onto his chest. But every single inch of him makes him who he is and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Adam’s muscles are covered with all the art decorating his skin, but the definition of his strength is still obvious.
He rewards me by pushing his thick cock into my mouth, letting me taste every inch of him as he pushes to the back of my throat. I try not to gag around him, wanting to take more. Wanting to do everything in my power to be so good for him. Even as Athena starts to tighten slightly around my throat. I work through my fear, though it’s still there and only makes me wetter knowing what’s happening. I know it’s fucked up. I know I’m so wrong for feeling this way, but these men make it feel like it’s okay. My men.
I’m fixated on watching the way he expertly restrains me, so I don’t notice Adam and Drew joining us in here. They both crowd me on one side, it should feel claustrophobic. I should feel restricted considering I’m completely at their mercy. But I don’t. I feel comfortable. Like them all being so close to me is the best way to make me feel the most like myself.
I hardly register everything that happens after we leave the gym. I’m half asleep as they take me home, clean me up, and tuck me into bed. As soon as my body is engulfed in comfort I fall asleep, dreaming of how perfect my new life is with three amazing, slightly psycho men who I love more than I ever thought possible.
I am seriously speechless after this duet. I fell in love with Madi and her writing style with The Hat Trick and have never looked back. This was such a departure from her Denver Dragons series in the absolute best way possible. There is nothing out there in the world like this and I sincerely hope this gets the recognition and attention it deserves because it deserves to be in everyone's hands.
We pick up right where the first book left off, which is great because I was going stir crazy for the couple of weeks I wasn't able to have my hands on the next part. I loved getting to see a changed Max right from the beginning. She could have felt defeat at her situation, she could have slunk back to the girl she was before she left and took control of her life, but she didn't. She rose above all of those trying to make her be the Maxine she was in the past and kept her cool in order to get out of Carson's grip and get back to what mattered to her the most- her boys and most importantly, her freedom.
I am embarrassed to admit, but at the end of the first part of this duet, I had thought that Danner was somehow in on what happened to Max and how she was able to be taken right under the guys noses and I am so dang glad that I was wrong! Danner is the SH*T! Let me tell you, I need a story about her ASAP because we got literally no answers about who she is, how she has the connections she does and what she actually does and I need all of them. Throw in her chemistry with Cal and Alexander, and that could be a story all on its own that could rival this one.
I really enjoyed all we got to see in the final part of this duet- the chemistry between Adam. Drew, Caine and Max got even spicier as the story went on and had me more than once reaching for a fan because boy oh boy was what they got up to HOT! I also really enjoyed how they all grew as a unit, finally able to admit things to each other that they had kept secret and in the dark for so long, especially Adam and Drew. Getting to see their pasts in the beginning as well really helped round the guys out and give them more depth that we got to see in the first part of their story.
A whirlwind of a ride from start to finish that leaves me super upset that their story is over. I can't wait to see what comes next from Madi. Fingers crossed it is a continuation of this world, with Danner's secrets coming to life. I am not ready to leave this world behind just yet!
Trigger Warnings include: murder, violence on page, domestic abuse, mental abuse, physical abuse, attempted SA, someone being drugged, kidnapping, consensual-non consensual, dubious consent, light bondage, cockwarming, somnophillia, primal play, breath play, blood play, snake play
Since Max was too busy (my lips are sealed) we get some personal time with the guys, a glimpse into their pasts and thoughts, and I cannot complain about that!! In the first book of this duet, we have a competition to see who has a bigger claim with “my girl”. But with this one, there’s a much more delicious focus: OUR girl. A bunch of big meanies with soft hearts. Though, soft isn’t the right word. Their hearts are still tough, but they are actually what Max needs. Max and her guys figure out all the little places they fit together. And the best part is they appreciate it. They each value the bonds for what they are. Max has plenty of strength, but having Drew, Adam, and Caine in her corner is a fabulous benefit!
little one killer baby girl
My Favorite Quotes: • “If you want to be desperate for my c!ck, then I’ll make you beg for it.” • “You both can suck my c!ck, just like the perfect little sl!ts you are. You want to share my d!ck with our girl like this?” • “We aren’t going anywhere without you.” • “You’ve never looked sexier than you do with blood on you.” • “I want to be better for you.” • “Give it to be, baby girl. Uncaged Obsessions is the perfect conclusion to this duet, and it absolutely delivers! After finishing the first book, I couldn't wait to see how Max's story would unfold, and let me tell you, it was worth every page. This second book really dives deep into the characters' personalities, making you connect with each of them even more.
Max is one of those rare FMCs who knows exactly what she wants, and she’s not afraid to go after it. Watching her finally get her well-deserved HEA with Caine, Adam, and Drew had me grinning from ear to ear. Each of the men brings something different to the table, but together, they’re unstoppable.
This book really shines when it comes to the character development. Caine, Adam, and Drew are no longer just love interests – you see them as real people with vulnerabilities, fears, and desires. I loved how the story let their deeper sides emerge. It made them feel even more real and relatable. And honestly, the chemistry between them and Max was off the charts! There are scenes in this book that will make you sweat, in the best way possible.
Madi has done an exceptional job blending dark romance with depth and emotion. The pacing picks up right where the first book left off, pulling you back into the intense drama and tension that Max is trying to escape. The way the guys step up and fight for Max was everything, especially when it turns out that she’s a lot tougher than they all realized. Her growth from book one to book two is so satisfying to watch.
Another highlight for me was the growth in the relationships. Max and the guys go through some serious evolution, but it’s particularly touching to see how Drew and Adam’s bond evolves, with Max helping them realize just how deep their feelings go. And Caine – wow, his softer side was a surprise, but I loved how he expressed his love for Max. The way they all come together for that ultimate happily ever after was so fulfilling.
Of course, the spice level didn’t disappoint! It’s steamy, intense, and absolutely addicting. Madi has nailed it with this duet, and I’m so happy with how everything wrapped up. If you’re a fan of dark romance with complex characters, sizzling chemistry, and emotional depth, this duet is a must-read!
I'm so glad to have read the continuation of Max's, Caine, Drew, and Adam's story. This was my first why choose and honestly and I'm not disappointed. Madi is definitely an author of firsts for me. I never read mma, dark sports, or why choose romances till now and I'm glad I got to expand on the type of romances I read.
Max is someone who developed a lot of strength and confidence in herself. I love that she she had so much character development in obsessions. She was more assured of herself and her needs. She was able to grab on to her sense of freedom that she's always longed for even if that meant 3 specific men would always be by her side.
I had to ask a friend if it was normal to have a favorite man in a why choose and I'm glad that she assured me that it's normal because Drew is my absolute favorite in this duet. There's just something about his character that draws me to him. I love his personality and I think I see a bit of myself in him because he and I both try to hold back so much of our emotions that we hate showing it to others. Everytime Drew was mentioned or it was his chapter, I would freaking get excited because I love him so much.
I absolutely adored seeing more of Adam in obsessions. I loved getting to know more about his character. I love the authority he has over Max and the two guys when things get intimate. It's just so attractive in how he carries himself.
Caine is so unhinged, but I'm glad I got to understand his character better. His overprotectiveness of Max makes me think about how it gives him a sense of purpose. A sense of stability. He may not be able to express himself easily through words, but Max being the first girl to make him feel the emotions of love felt so heartwarming. Even if Caine didn't like sharing Max with the other two men before, it was so attractive to see him get more comfortable of the idea of sharing Max with Drew and Adam.
I loved getting to see more about the background of the three men's past. It really made me truly get to know Drew, Adam, and Caine better. I also love how these men fuel Max's obsession for them as much as she fuels their obsession for her.
💭After Max’s abusive ex shows up at her house in Seaside, the boys find out she’s gone. Caine caught it all on camera and they know Carson has her. They have to work together to get their girl back. Meanwhile, Max is plotting her second escape and she knows it will be her last. Carson is threatening her men so she has to play nice but she will get out of there or die trying.
💫Uncaged Obsession starts quick and moves quick. Per usual Max is a badass. She continues her training alone and is prepping to get out. Adam and Drew try to work through their issues and they have good chemistry on the page and I really love their dynamic. I wish it wasn’t fully because of Max but I’ll take what I can get. Even when they finally admitted they had feelings was so them and made so much sense for their characters. But I wish there was more. Also per usual, Adam is my favorite MMC in the series. I love getting to see his background a little more and anything we can get really makes me love his character. The ending was relatively satisfying. Everyone got what they deserved and I really do love the way this relationship progressed.
⚫️Like the first book Caine is the weak spot. He is impulsive and just downright mean to everyone but Max. He is self centered and just isn’t a great character. It gets better as the book went on but I felt like I wanted to skip his chapters. The murder plot also felt like it wrapped up a little too nicely.

Madi has done it once again. I didn't know how much better the second book could be compared to the first one. It was BETTER!! Do you hear me friends?? BET-TER
Max was once again the strongest, baddest B!+ch there was! She endured some of most degrading behavior from a man who could have card whether she was alive or not. But she made it out alive and THRIVED.
She knew where she belonged. Right beside Caine, Adam and Drew. They were better for her being beside them. Not to mention her rockstar friend Danner, who was an actual WIZARD. I am still at a loss for words as to what she did for a living. But like my Papa always said You don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
There was so much action going on in this book but also so much emotional work as well. I loved that they were all able to say the thing out loud that they all felt. Being able to bring each other together is a beautiful thing!
Between the love these 4 carry for each other, the action of everything going on and the nefarious ways of some of their parents I wasn't willing to step away from.this book even for a minute. My kindle was attached to my hand at all times.
I couldn't get enough of this book and I was LIVING for every page. I can't say enough good things about this book to make you run to buy it. Just do yourself a favor and go buy the duet!
🔥 Let's Talk About Sex Baby 🥵: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
These 4 have some of the most dynamite scenes 😍. I would suggest you checking the warnings ⚠️ and see what all they show just to make sure that you are good for those! If you are good, then you are going to LOVE ❤️ every single scene. They were some of the hottest scenes!
I received a complimentary copy via Madi Danielle. All opinions are my own, honest and voluntary.
“To everyone who has fought a silent battle and came out stronger on the other side of it.”
The second book in this duet was everything I wanted for Max. She got her men and her revenge. This book picks right back up where the first left off and I was on the edge of my seat for about 25% of it.
Caine. I didn’t think he could be more unhinged from the first book and boy was I wrong. I love an unhinged man who says exactly what he is thinking, even though he probably shouldn’t sometimes lol. This man gives no f’s and I am here for it. I do love how far he came from not wanting to share Max to accepting it bc it made her happy.
Drew. Good boy Drew. Loved how he still was resistant to the nickname but getting used to it. I liked being able to get his story from his past and really seeing where his character came from even if it was so sad. And the development with Daddy Adam, loved it.
Adam. Daddy Adam, we also get to read about his past and why he doesn’t like to be touched. He is definitely tied with Caine on my favorite. Love that he was in control most of the time. Also, his feelings for Drew coming to light, loved every second of it.
Max. Our girl. She’s fierce and feisty and doesn’t let any of her men walk all over her. They think they are in control but they definitely are not. This woman owns them. I love her character development and how in the first one she’s like I need to get away from these men, to I am just as obsessed as they are.
If you want to read a RH duet with romantic suspense, plenty of spicy time and a good plot, this is it!
