"Sports Psychology" is a must-read for anyone who wants to perform his/her best, on and off the playing field. Author Jonny Bell shares his knowledge on building confidence, improving focus before and during an athletic event, and using ideal visualization techniques to achieve peak performance. He also shares helpful goal-setting tips, as well as how to build routines during practice and on game days. He even gives an example of a specific practice and game day routine, and shows why it works.

The information in this book may be tailored to athletes, but the lessons learned throughout can benefit anyone, from students to businesspeople. Highly recommended!

Very interesting and useful information to improve your performance!

I love sports – I play basketball and practice Wado Ryu Karate – and when I read the description, I thought this book would be very interesting. Well, it was even better than I expected. I believe that the techniques described in this book (using visualization, setting goals, building confidence, and creating effective routines) can improve anyone’s performance, not only in sports but the corporate world as well.

This is a great supplement for anyone, coach or athlete, looking to maximise performance and improve their focus and motivation to achieve results. Bell proves throughout the course of the text that he is an authority on the subject. Great reading material for people in need of this kind of information. Personally, my sporting days are behind me, but I have gained plenty of knowledge to pass onto my children, who all have an interest in various sports.
