This book was pretty good. I enjoyed the storyline and thought it was interesting. This book was a quick and easy read. I did have a couple problems with this book though. First I thought some of the pictures could have been better done although they were better than some of the previous books. My second problem with this book is that it’s starting to happen in every book in this series that Shaggy and Scooby see the ghost or bad guy or whatever and no one believes them and then all of the sudden the guy appears and then everyone believes them. I would think eventually the rest of the gang would start believing them. Also Shaggy and Scooby are constantly told not to get into trouble and then they immediately see the bad guy when they go off on their own. It’s just getting too predicable even for a kids book. Another thing that should have been checked before publishing but that did not affect my review is that the series list in the beginning of the book is messed up. It has the snow monster book in there twice and so the list has the wrong numbers for some of the books and has some of the books out of order of what the other books say the order should be. I would have thought someone would have checked this before publishing it but apparently they didn’t or they didn’t care enough to fix it. It’s just frustrating when it doesn’t seem like people pay enough attention to correct a kids book before allowing it to be published. Overall the book was still ok. I’d just like for their to be a few changes to make it better and keep it interesting.

The writing in this was sloppy and the mystery was completely obvious. Poor Shaggy and Scooby didn’t even really get to eat anything.

Fun Scooby story for the kids. This one was longer than some of the others I've read, and with fewer pictures, so it's more appropriate for older children, especially those who are reading on their own. But our girls love Scooby-Doo, so they loved this one as well.

Pretty basic read for a chapter book - but I liked the chapters were shorter and it had a decent amount of pictures. It's perfect for use at school! Writing is simplistic, but I'll get over it ;-)
