Do you believe in ghosts? After reading Stranger Than Fear, you might wish you didn’t. This gripping series uncovers real, accounts of those who have come face-to-face with the paranormal—mysterious whispers, unseen presences, and encounters that defy explanation.
These stories will haunt you long after the last page.
This is another type of book which covers stories of strange things happening but does not always tie those events into specific causes like cryptids or ghosts.
The book has stories about strange things going on in houses or schools, a dead person sending a text message, the use of holy water, sleep paralysis and like events.
It's interested in a general way but I tend to prefer specific types of causes.
This is the first book in a new paranormal series with a new coauthor. This is a new collection of eerie and frightening paranormal encounters. The witnesses were wise to move in many cases. I would've loved to know what was found in that attic. That family should have moved out! Looking forward to the next book in the series for more stories.
This book has firsthand encounters written down by the authors. Some of the stories aren't very scary but they are definitely believable. They also give the names of the actual places where the situation happened for the person which is a factor I would like to know when I hear of people's encounters.
These stories were generic. The recycled canned stories we’ve all heard a derivative of a thousand times. For Tom Lions, this book was disappointing. AI generated? Possibly.
IDK if I believe in ghosts and haunts. I believe in God and Heaven and Hell, but I'm a little skeptical about ghosts. Although I like to read about such stories, I don't meddle in the spirit world.
