Camilla Hernandez comes from a small town outside of Dallas, where she leads a quiet life as an ESL teacher following a tragic family accident. On summer break, while visiting her best friend, Jass, during a night out in Los Angeles, Camilla catches the eye of Moon Dae, a strikingly handsome K-pop idol.

What starts as a whirlwind romance sweeps Camilla off her feet, drawing her into K-pop's glitzy and fast-paced world. However, Camilla begins to dig deeper into Moon Dae's controversial past after being stood up. She quickly realizes that the extravagant lifestyle associated with K-pop is far removed from her own values and comfort zone, ultimately leaving Moon Dae behind.

After an eventful summer, Camilla hopes to move on, but she soon faces the harsh reality of being connected to Korea's elite idols. Following Moon Dae's hiatus announcement, Camilla is forced to confront the repercussions of their summer romance.
As the year unfolds, Camilla finds a familiar person to distract herself until Moon Dae unexpectedly returns, asking for her back. Will Camilla take him back and accept his shocking proposal?

Being on a KPOP reading ladder after watching KPOP demon hunter, this was a cute read that I was excited to dive into. Reading previous KPOP books this was a book that lived up to the hype and eager to read more books written by this author. From KPOP vibes, decisions of untold futures, unexpected love interests....Okay you get it but worth the read!
