I was confused with this relationship
I enjoy a good best friend’s brother relationship. I went back to the prior books in this series because I felt like I didn’t recall this relationship being planted anywhere in the series.
I searched the books for Neve being mentioned and couldn’t successfully find anything of her to tell me they had a spark somewhere. I struggled with how obsessed Celso was with Neve because I didn’t have a foundation of it anywhere in the series yet it goes back years. So where did the tension origin ever get planted before? I factored this into my rating. For that I’d probably rate it a 3.50
Something blue felt like having something big drop out of absolutely no where but was supposed to be such a credible connection. I struggled to buy it and connect when I didn’t have a foundation to this in the series.
I loved where the something blue touch came into play. I saw some elements incorporated that felt recycled from prior books in the series and for me took away from the originality of this couples story being unique within the series.
I’m hopeful the final book in the series can offer a redemption for my experience to end on a higher note.

Celso is what I imagine a a mafia man would be like; rich, arrogant, possessive, but he also has the trait of being soft and loving. I love Neve because even though she had a life of duty and responsibility for others she still hold strong to her own beliefs and wants to a degree and Celso lets her be her and gives her what any woman I think wants a powerful protective man who cherishes her but lets her not forget herself or leaves her in his shadow. She is definitely stronger than she thought for dealing with all the stuff she had to. Love sometimes allows us to look past the bad and see the good that no one else sees.

This was a great book. I loved the chemistry between Celso and Neve. The way he never gave up his love for her and her finally having a chance at truly living the life she wanted.
The writing style is great it kept me reading and I devoured this book in a day.
Neves growth in the book was great to read and I enjoyed her finally taking a stand for what she wanted which didn’t happen at the beginning of the book.
I found Celso’s character to be passionate and sincere even if he sometimes went about it in the wrong way and there were some great spice throughout the book.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and will go back and read other couples stories in the series.

Flipping the Script to Get His Own Conclusion -
Neve wasn’t really happy about the arranged business married, but the last thing she expected was for the groom to not show up and for the off limits brother of her best friend to make her shiver with excitement. Celso’s obsession where Neve was concerned went into overdrive when her wedding was announced, which sent him into a frenzy, that led to disastrous results. Nevertheless, Celso found a way to make his dreams come true when he put forward a proposal to Neve’s family, that shook them to the core, but they ultimately accepted.
Unfortunately, even though Celso finally achieved his goal of marrying Neve, he suffered a setback to his forever when she discovered the extent of his obsession and all the things he had done over the years. Whilst Neve tried to distance herself from Celso after she found out about everything, her heart wouldn’t allow her to stay away from him, so she returned to him and they got back on track towards the future they were planning.
This is an absolutely fantastic romance story, that took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride with a dramatic mafia twist. I was hooked on the story right from the first page and didn’t take a break until I finished reading it. This book was a gem of a read, that you definitely won’t want to miss out on reading.

A superbly written story about a Mafia prince who fell in love with his sister’s best friend who is a politician's daughter. The Mafia prince does everything to get the woman to be with him and after several misfortunes the woman weds the Mafia prince to help save her family.
The Mafia prince’s sister has had the woman promise not to get with any of her brothers but the woman is worried that since marrying the Mafia prince that her best friend would end their friendship even though it was for nothing. The woman’s best friend just wanted her happy.
The couple start planning their honeymoon and they want to make their honeymoon as an adventure.
The couple was happy but it didn’t last long before the woman found out about the Mafia prince’s lies and betrayal. As soon as she can she leaves the Mafia prince.

There is a thin line between love and hate or so they! You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Celso sexy as all get out man who see, knows what he wants willing to go after it he has loved one women willing to do what it takes to gain her attention but don’t get it twisted he isn’t a man you want on your radar, he is dangerous, ruthless, and deadly all on a good day with a reputation proceeding him she is the one person you don’t want touch on his watch. Neve is sweet when she needs to be have lived by her father’s rules for his political career winning at any cost, she was to be married but her fiancé never showed up leaving her at the altar, she loses her father, and then her brother decides to save the family reputation by going to the mafia for a solution one that involved her. Celso is right there to make sure things happen exactly how he orchestrates the magnetic pull is there, but will she continue to fight it, will he prove the depths of his love for her, and will they find their own happiness somewhere along the way?

Something Blue, Celso and Neve's story was a fast read that held my interest with Celso's dark brooding dominant no holds barred possessiveness when it came to Neve. There was nothing he wouldn't do to make sure she was his. Neve has promised her best friend she would never date any of her brothers even though Neve feels drawn to Celso. Neve is engaged to a childhood friend, knowing it's not a love match but a family obligation she still worries when her fiancé is late to the wedding. When the groom is a no show it's Celso's chance to step in and make a deal with Neve's father for Neve's hand in marriage. You follow the story 0f intrigue, build of emotion, guilt, betrayal and the horror of the discovery of the monster she was forced to marry and has fallen in love with. Will all this destroy their chance at HEA? If you like a dark, broody MMC and a MFC with some spunk you should enjoy this read. This is my second book by Hannah Rio in the The Vece Familia Mafia Series. From the very beginning I knew something was up with Celso. I just had not figured out just how much. As the book continued you learn that Neve is in a no win situation between her and her father, her and her brother. They only care about money and their campaign. Even Celso sister, Neve best friend don't seem to care for her as much as Celso. He has gone out of his way to make her his. When she finds out what he has done she struggles to find a balance of love and hate. She loves the fact that he loves her for her and she hates the fact she was forced into something with him for money. In the end She went with her heart and everything seemed to fall into place.

Celso has wanted Neve for a long time and when she is supposed to marry someone her family wants, he takes it into his own hands. When something happens to the groom to be Celso offers another arrangement to her family which they accept. Never is curious about Celso and starts developing feelings for him. However, when she learns some of the things he has done because he has wanted her it shakes her up some. Can Celso show her that he can be the man she needs?
This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Marvelous and fantastic story. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was totally worth an intense. I was on the verge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Celso and Neve chemistry was forbidden but they couldn’t fight the temptation of passion and romance. He was a big time mobster and she was a beautiful woman who was at the jilted at the alter. Danger , power, respect , chaos and romance and crazy madness.

I enjoyed reading this darker romance story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed their writing style as well as their creative details that make their characters pop. This is the fifth book in this series which can be read as a stand alone. I look forward to reading the previous books in this series. This is a love hate romance story that is engaging and hard to put down. Neve and Celso are great characters that have steamy chemistry. They are such great characters and they add so much to the story. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout which made the story easy and entertaining to read. I really enjoyed their characters for sure. I highly recommend this book.

Neve was supposed to marry Damion, but he did not show up. Neve's best friend, Dalila Vece, stood by her side and tried to help her through everything. Dalila made Neve promise never to date any of her brothers, but Celso Vece is in love with Neve. This is an interesting read. It was so hard to put this book down, yet I did not want the story to end. It is the kind of story I know I will go back and read again and again. I enjoyed reading the book. It was a fast read for me. The language and plot were not that complex. Coming to the plot, I loved Neve and Celso. Their relationship was quite interesting. I loved the bond between every characters too. Even though there were some annoying characters, others were very lovable. The only thing I got little disappointed was the lack of complexity in the plot. As this was a dark mafia romance I expected much more twists and turns. But apart from this, I loved the book.

Decent story. Spoiler alert.
I like most parts of the story. Celso is obsessed with Neve. He controls her life whenever he can. Their relationship is confusing. There are steamy scenes. I wish Celso groveled more. Neve wanted to do many things in her life. Celso was helping her at the end do some if them. The one thing he did to her was sabotage her going to college. Neve should have demanded to go to a college close to her. I would have been outraged if someone did that to me

Something Blue is a spicy dark mafia romance filled with suspense and an intense chemistry between Celco and Neve that might be forbidden but definitely undeniable. Celso lives by his own rules and nobody not even his sister who is Neve's best friend or the fact that Neve is marrying someone else will stop him from spending his life with the women he loves. Neve struggles with her feelings for Celso but just as she begins to truly fall in love Celso's secrets begin to surface which puts to question whether they will be able to find their HEA. I truly enjoyed this story and highly recommend you read it.

Wow...Celso is obsessed!! Neve is Celso's sisters best friend and he has been obsessed with her despite her making a deal with her friend to not go after her brothers. Neve is stood up at her wedding when her fiance doesn't show and Celso takes advantage and starts spending time with her. Things change between the two quickly but what will Neve do when she finds out the things Celso has done to have his chance with her.

It was okay. It wasn't as dark as I thought it was going to be. Besides mentioning Celso is from a mafia family, this book has nothing to do with the mafia. Celso is obsessed with Neve, and he will do anything to make her his.
I would have loved to have seen an antagonist in this story, but it is basically Celso manipulating Neve into accepting him.

Celso and Neve. She was forced into a marriage and he took care of that now shes forced to marry him. Shes says she hates him but does she. He makes her feel things. Then secreats are revealed that could tear them apart. Thjis is a well written suspensful mafia romance with great charecters. Couldnt put it down. An exciting read.

Celco was definitely the wildest guy in the family. His dad always had his back, unlike with his other sons. Neve got set up for an arranged marriage. She was cool with that, thinking he seemed like a good guy. Her father and brother only cared about using her as a pond to get what they wanted.
She had no idea about Celco crazy obsession with her or how far he'd go to be with her.
It's a pretty messed up story, but honestly, I was into it.

This is a very steamy, suspense read, with mafia bosses, with forbidden romance, with stalking, and Celso is a very possessive man who in the mafia who get what he wants but who also have a side of loving and caring for someone, Then there is Neve a very brilliant girl with a good character growth in the book. Now he has married his woman and their path begins. Will she succumb to Celso and be his faithful wife. This story had me all caught up in the action-packed drama.

Celso and Neve’s story grabbed me from the beginning and wouldn’t let me go. Interesting mafia themed read. Plenty of twists. Suspenseful and dangerous at times with lots of secrets. This book took me on a ride. Honestly, I don't know if I love or hate Celso. He is an interesting character. His affection for Neve is intense! I was not prepared for this relationship. The two of them are HOT together! This book is spicy and amazing! The book was creative and well written. I definitely recommend and I cant wait to read more from Hannah Rio.
