With suspicion mounting that the killer in Marsh Bay is in fact a police officer, Charley's flashes take a different turn. Not only is Charley seeing the murder of Kerry Underwood in her mind, she's also receiving a series of haunting text messages from her. Can Kerry lead Charley to the killer from beyond the grave?

So the book came out before the kindle part so i had to buy the book as I couldn't wait to read this part. What an ending! Reading the first two parts you would not have guessed this ending. Very cleverly written as always, always leaving you on a cliff hanger. This part lives up to Tim's fast paced writing, hence I read it in one sitting. I look forward to and hope we get to see how Charley moves on and how Charley and Tom s characters develop.
Unbelievable twists turns and keeps you guessing every step of the way. Each book filled with drama. Once started i had to keep reading until I'd finished them all. Recommend anyone to read and not be dissapointed.
Continuing on from the next book this instalment sees Charley's delving deeper into the mystery of who killed all those women and the closer she gets, the more danger she is in. It is kind of like those scary movies where you hide behind your hands and peek out hoping that the bad guy doesn't kill them yet you know there would be no story if he didn't. No Charley - don't go out in the dark alone yet they always do. Charley's special gift is not perfect and the face of the killer still eludes her and as Tim's speciality is diversion, those red herrings keep coming. I must admit I did not expect that ending so I am always pleased when I am surprised but with Tim' books that has become the "norm" these days. The story is believable and therefore resonates with you and then I went straight onto "Dead End" which is a review for another day.
And yep hes done it all over again.....to say that was an unexpected ending is an understatement.....As Charley and Tom's journey draws a shock conclusion and we finally find out the killer. We are left asking ourselves WHAT! Although I have really enjoyed the Flashes series I would absolutely love for Tim to revisit Charley and Tom as I think they have a lot more intrigue, mystery and crime solving......Loved It!
Wow absolutely amazing series I loved every single minute of them. This book was spooky intense and really sad how things turn out but what a fantastic explosive series well done tim.
