Navy veteran Theo is in love with Cassidy, but he’s running out of options. He wants a future with her, but she refuses to admit her feelings. With Halloween fast approaching, he gives her an ultimatum. Will she take the plunge and exorcise the guilt haunting her every move or will she stick to the shadows? Theo hopes she says yes to love and to him.
Hidden Secrets is a military romance set during Halloween in a small town in Texas I couldn’t put down. The emotional turmoil is what drives this romance, and I loved every minute while reading. The descriptive narration draws the reader into the story. The setting is small town with all the quirks that go along with it. The characters are charming, even the minor characters. The romance, though, is what makes Hidden Secrets an unputdownable read.
Theo is a navy veteran and a hero who will steal your heart with a smile. He’s in love with Cassidy, who refuses to see him as more than a friend and client. The long-suffering hero viewpoint showcases Dania Voss’ writing style. There were so many times when I wanted to hug Theo and tell him Cassidy’s tormented heart needs his love.
Dania Voss is a prolific romance author who writes stories with real characters who go through life’s ups and downs. No fluff here, just honest characters in need of the healing power of love. Realistic romance is what Dania Voss writes, and it is soul-satisfying for the reader. If you’re looking for real romance with military characters, pick up Hidden Secrets today.

Hidden Secrets had me hooked from the first page. Cassidy and Theo’s slow burn romance is emotional, steamy, and full of heart. The small town Halloween setting adds charm, and their journey toward love and healing is absolutely satisfying. A must-read for fans of heartfelt friends-to-lovers stories. its a fantastic book that needs to be seen and unleash the potentials within it.
