When you’ve always been treated like trash, at some point you start to feel like it. After my biological parents discarded me, I bounced around foster homes with nothing but a trash bag for my belongings. When I finally landed with a family, it turned out to be the epitome of rotting garbage. Their house was disgusting, but the family was worse—vile in ways I’d rather forget. It wasn’t a home; it was a ‘house of horrors.’ Just as I was drowning in despair, the twin protectors of my school—Rhydian and his brother Rhyatt—became my new foster brothers. I found a brother in one and my heart in the other. My Bones. He made me believe in something better. One night, everything fell apart. Blood was spilled, lives were shattered, and the right thing turned into something so very wrong. With so many nightmares behind me, I finally start to heal with Bones by my side. When a threat that could take everything from me makes a sudden appearance, will we both survive what’s coming?
Rhydian
All I’ve ever had was my twin brother—until her. My brother and I have always protected those who couldn’t protect themselves, both in school and every foster home we lived in. I’ve done things I can’t take back, but I’d never apologize for protecting the people I love. Except for one mistake. One night, I failed, and the fallout destroyed us. Ophelia was everything, and losing her left me broken. Now, years later, I’ve been given a second chance to set things right. But just as the pieces start to fall into place, something terrible happens. My family is in danger, and the darkness I thought I’d escaped is closing in. I’ll fight to protect them, to protect her. But how far can I go before the storm swallows us whole?
Per usual another job well done! This series has my heart clutched. I can't get enough of the banter and the pain and the love. Everything in this book makes me want to hold my family a little tighter and make dang sure I tell the ones I love that I love them! This book is DARK so make sure please make sure you check the TWs before diving into this head first. K again you're an amazing Author and I can't get enough of everything you write.
I absolutely loved it!!!!! I loved getting to read Ophelia and Rhydian’s story. The stuff she goes through broke me and mad me cry for her and Rhayvin, but getting to see Rhydian and Ophelia reunite is soooo sweet and heart mending. K.iller out did her self once again!!
This book did not disappoint! I love that the story continues (and goes back) to the previous two books in the series. It created new situations and relationships that I didn’t anticipate in those books but seemed to fit perfectly as if she planned it all along! Hmmm….lol. K’s writing is so unique and special in such subtle ways. It’s never too fancy or “trying to hard”. It’s natural and flows so well while also being incredibly witty. I’ll never know how she does it, she really is one of a kind. As with all her books, check your triggers because they are ACCURATE. I was surprised by what made me squeamish in this one, but I loved every minute of it. The ability to make me grimace, swoon, and laugh in one paragraph is one that cannot be replicated. K. Iller will forever be an auto-buy author and I can’t wait for what’s to come.
This is the third book in the series. It does a little bit of a prequel of the characters from book two. So this may contain spoilers even if i dont want to. Sorry, not sorry.
This follows Rhydian and his brother Rhyatt. They get moved to a house to live at before the age of 18. This is where Ophelia comes back into their lives. Soon after they are reunited, something happens, and the boys have to leave. Fast forward a few years, we get to see where book 2 left off. This is where i stop....
This book consumed my life. Like any other book from her. I walked around with my Kindle everywhere i went. It was captivating. It was darker than the previous ones. The spicy scenes were fantastic! The imagery was down to the smallest detail, but it didn't drag on. The books never disappoint, and I can't wait to see where/what else she creates.

Holy sh*t. This book has all the feels. The slight Easter egg from one of the other books is amazing!! If you’ve read Bleeding Hearts then you’ll understand. This book is amazing with its twists and turns and of course the cliff hangers!!! My gosh please check trigger warnings as your mental health it’s important but this book and this series is a must read.
Wow, wow and another wow. I would say third book is a charm but this one is just as amazing as the first two in the series. I could not put Double Life down. Every page had my full attention and feelings. K's writing is like nothing I have ever read. One thing that you must read ahead is the trigger warnings. Prepare yourself to feel all the emotions.
