This is most definitely a Maree thing that I feel like I should be used too, but I was always be like "this is a solid 3.75/4 star read then she bing bop boom bop bams me and it turns into a five star".
So for the first solid half of the book Seanna Darling DEA agent tracking down Cartel King Javier Reyes, starts getting stalked and getting packages and you the reader are sitting there being like my guy I know you think this is hot but you're getting stalked and you can kill a man with a look, so maybe hide in your bushes and when the stalker drops a package on your porch maybe unalive him?
And yep you guessed it, my friends she gets kidnapped. By two tall hot masked men.
And of course there's a plot twist. So you put your book in a time out.
And then you'll never believe it, but another plot twist. Another book time out.
And then there's the happily ever after.

4.75⭐ is close enough to 5 so I'll round up.
but holyyyy SHIT. this was by far the best book in this trilogy. I don't want to spoil anything for the ones who want to read this book, but hot damn. the twists and turns and ugh. the banter was good. the spice was spicing. and that ending?? was not expecting that at allll. I was Soo shocked to find out who Ruin and Rule were behind their masks. 🙏 bless you Maree for this work of art. now I can't wait for the Darling Family Christmas book and Max's novella 😭

ARC BOOK REVIEW: Seek Me, Darling by Maree Rose
Okay listen up, because I went into this one headfirst with zero context from the previous books—nada, zilch—and guess what? I didn’t need it. These books can be read as standalones and THANK THE SPICY GODS because I was NOT prepared for the chaos that unfolded.
We’ve got Seanna Darling—yes, her last name is literally Darling but make no mistake, this woman is a whole force of nature. DEA agent, take-no-crap, hotter-than-a-blowtorch badass who probably bench presses the patriarchy before breakfast. I want to be her when I grow up. Or maybe I want her. It’s unclear.
Now let’s talk about the MEN. Ruin and Rule. Those are their names. I’ll give you a second. 🫠
These walking sins in tactical gear have been stalking our girl FOR YEARS and not in a creepy “ew” way but in a “tie you to a bed and whisper sweet threats in my ear” way. I would like to personally request to be chased through the woods by these men. I’ll even bring snacks.
And the mystery?? Chef’s freaking kiss. Seanna knows these guys, but doesn’t recognize them because they’re wearing masks (hot) and the SUSPENSE had me flinging my Kindle across the room like a dramatic soap opera villain. I didn’t figure it out until the reveal, and then I was smacking myself in the forehead because Maree left us breadcrumbs like the sexy little genius she is.

This is a dark why choose stalker romance, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!

Sienna Darling? TOTAL BADASS, everything i love in an FMC! She fears NOTHING, especially not the darkness she keeps inside her! Shes sharp and cunning working as a DEA agent by day, a undercover op for her parents underground organization come night. Balancing a fine line handing out justice through the law, and taking justice into her own hands!
Rule & Ruin. Everything Sienna didnt know she needed, someone to see her, not tame her storm & choas but to dance with her in it. These boys are cunning, stealthy and nothing more than shadows. They know everything and anything about her. The obession they have is nothing short of ABSOLUTELY INTENSE and CAPTIVATING.
This is so many twists and turns through out the whole book, and i was on the edge of my metaphorical seat yall😅 I had a few ideas who where behind the mask, i had a hunch who was Rule was but Ruin?? That came out of left field and left my mouth on the FLOOR!!! Also the spicy? OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS!!! I was blushing half the book🤣

Люблю цю авторку за те, що вона вміє дивувати. Ніби вже 3 книга у серії, а цікаво як вперше, бо все намагаєшся вирахувати, хто ж може ховатися під тими масками.
Я не хочу сильно аналізувати деякі сюжетні лінії та дії героїв, бо ці книги - не про це. Я читала і насолоджувалася історією. І я просто обожнюю головну героїню - вона шикарна, і точно найзухваліша і найпалкіша з усіх. Левиця, яку два леви хотіли запроторити в клітці. Але вони забули, що роз'ярена самка знищить їх і не помітить. Ламай їх повністю, Дарлінг.

Rule and Ruin. That’s all they give her at first. They’re intense. Calculated. And disturbingly familiar with every piece of her life. They don’t just want her they’ve been planning for her. And as much as Seanna resists, the connection is undeniable. It’s obsessive, consuming, and yes, seriously spicy.
The way their identities are slowly unraveled is nothing short of masterful. I loved that we discovered their identities right alongside Seanna.
This book kept me completely locked in. The plot twists never felt chaotic, everything connected in the end. I appreciated how it balanced the heat with strong character development. Seanna doesn’t lose herself in the chaos; if anything, she becomes even more commanding.

I really liked this story and that the identities weren’t revealed early on (also liked that my guesses were both right and wrong lol)

This is book 3 of the series. The stories all have different main characters and storylines. In this one, DEA Agent Seanna Darling. She is trying to catch the head of a dangerous cartel and is met with stalkers along the way. She gets pulled into a twisty game, putting her in danger. Seanna seems really dark though. In the prologue, she is “hunting monsters”. She says she understands what lives in the dark and sometimes you have to become something worse. She is “just as twisted” as the men she hunts. I am already at full attention with this. Give me the darkest you have. Seanna has an ‘enforcement’ type of crew, Matteo, Eli and Jenson that stand with her during ‘negotiations’. I love her guts and drive. Check the trigger warnings. I received an ARC copy from the author and this is my honest review.

Okay the Darling world has always had my entire heart and soul. Truth and Dare from book 1 are everything and more to me. Then heading into book 2 and 3...ugh I am obsessed!!!!
I thought I love Hydessa, but Seanna is top notch. Like right there with Alex! 😍 ....girl crush activated! 🤣
But omg everything about this book was so incredible! Seanna knows she's different but she's never let that bring her down, ever. She always embraces her dark side. But when she winds up with st@lk£rs, they end up breaking down the walls she still had up! And it's amazing.
Maree always gets me with not being able to figure out who's behind the masks...and this was obviously no different. I don't do well with this type of thing lol. But ugh I love these men soooo much!!!! Again, they're right there with T&D! My heart ❤️

This has become my favorite book that Maree Rose has written thus far!! I was totally invested and couldn't stop reading!! Seanna Darling is a strong willed, fiesty and a very capable woman. Her banter with the men her life really set this apart for me. There were great men around to try and deduct which were going to be her men. I love the couple twists about their identity. There is a really great prim@l scene included in this read. Probably one of my favorites I've ever read! Also the scene where she is making breakfast with one of her men was great too! 🍒🥵

This is the third amazing instalment in the series, but each of these books also can stand alone. In this , we follow DEA Seanna Darling. Sex on legs , dark in her soul, and completely in control as she works to take down corruption from its very core. What a reputation she has to follow being one of the twin daughters of the infamous profiler , her twin also being a detective dedicated to the cause, while also working for the organisation founded by her parents to track and trap those corrupt players within the system itself. But Seanna is used to being completely in control, she demands it, and yet as the book goes on she finds the threads of control slipping away, as her very own stalker controls the narrative. One precious flower in a box at a time.
Ruin and Rule, tactical gear gods that move in the shadows and demand their Queen join them in darkness. But it goes back further than we think. Actually quite close to home. Who is behind the masks? Well….i won’t ruin that for you ;)
As usual, Maree weaves suspense and passion into her characters in a thrilling way that always has us guessing. But we never guess, not until we KNOW.
This dark romances stalker fantasy will have you panting in more ways than one. The spice is there, as if always is, but the story line is where the real fire is. Fastly one of my favourite books from an amazing author.

As usual, Maree weaves suspense and passion into her characters in a thrilling way that always has us guessing. But we never guess, not until we KNOW.
This dark romances stalker fantasy will have you panting in more ways than one. The spice is there, as if always is, but the story line is where the real fire is. Fastly one of my favourite books from an amazing author.

I absolutely adore how in all three books of this series you think you have an idea of who the masked men will be, but are still shocked when their true identities are revealed... and this one was no different! The gasp that I gasped!

I am completely and utterly obsessed with this entire series but Seanna is my favorite. Badass DEA agent who takes no shit and is unapologetically herself. While also working for her family’s agency completely under the radar. Thrives on chaos and questionable decisions. How she responds to her stalkers is absolutely next level and I was cheering her on every step of the way.
Seanna was working a huge case when she got too close for her stalkers comforts. Rule and Ruin. The masked men who have watched Seanna from afar and up close, learning her every move. Her comforts, facial expressions, literally all the tiny personal little details she thought no one ever saw.
Rule and Ruin whisk her away to try to keep her safe. This is when things become very interesting and intense. Without giving all the goods away, they are her perfect match in every way. The utter devotion and obsession can be felt throughout this entire book. The fact we get to experience all of this alongside Seanna was amazing. Maree always has a way to keep me guessing and absolutely blows me away when revealing the identities.

You are going to clutch your heart if you love an MFM, where the FMC & both MMC's are all just twisted versions of themselves. We watch Seanna Darling kick butt as a DEA agent & is a force to be reckoned with. But she's being watched. She comes home to packages & notes sent from an unknown sender. She won't & can't be intimidated. She thinks it has to do with a case she's getting too close to & it does, BUT there's so much more.
Her stalkers kidnap her (yes, plural) for her own good. These 2 masked men go by Ruin & Rule. These men are possessive. These men are obsessed. They know everything about her because they've stalked her in the shadows for years. When they become more than just her shadows, it gets HOT! So hot there is chapter after chapter of intense & wild spice.
We learn who they are when Seanna does, because I didn't have a clue as to who they really were until they earn her trust & let her finally take their masks off. Twists and turns OH MY!!!!!

My jaw DROPPED when they finally got unmasked like hit the floor so hard, i was gobsmacked!!
This book matches the other two in the seriously perfectly, the obsessed MMC's the strong wielded FMC, the banter, the spice and the plot was crazy.
Half the stuff that happened i could not have predicted.
By the end of the book my head was a mess with wtf went down but it tied together so well.
I knew @mareeroseauthor would smash this book and i have been waiting for it for so long that when i got i physically threw my kindle thinking it had lied to me.
This is a dark romance so please read all the TW's.
It follows on from the second book about Hydessa and her men and you're left on a cliff hanger to then Seanna's story.
Seanna is a DEA agent and also working for her parents "organisation" when she gets kidnapped by Rule & Ruin (who are hot asf!!!!).
The plot thickness when you discover who they really are under their masks, and boy was it totally worth the wait when you finally know.

Seek Me Darling by Maree Rose is the third/final book in the The Darling Games series. I absolutely loved book 1 and 2 in this series. After the way book 2 ended, I was so excited to finally read Seanna Darling’s book. This book met all my expectations. Seek Me Darling is my favorite book in the series officially. The smut in this book was well done and ooooohhhhh it was spicy! . Please check trigger warnings as this book has dark themes.

Her men were perfect for her. I loved seeing all their relationships progress. I loved trying to figure out the identities of Rule and Ruin. Rule and Ruin complemented each other well. I loved how absolutely devoted they were to Seanna. These three were kinky and unhinged. I loved everything about their story. The plotline was well paced. I read this book in one sitting. I would highly recommend this book!

Another Darling story and one I've been champing at the bit for.
Seanna works for the DEA, taking down the monsters, while allowing her own darkness out, but she has caught the attention of two men, who are obsessed with her to the point of Ruin. (yeah ok pun intended).
What a fantastic, well-written, twisted spice-filled read. Seanna is full of grit, determination fire and darkness, never letting anyone truly close, until two men Ruin and Rule pull her into their world, they are completely obsessed with her and are possibly truly psychotic but the way they are in tune with Seanna is sweet, and truly demented, definitely on the list of top book boyfriends.
Let's just say I had a feeling who Ruin and Rule might be, but I totally had it wrong, so that little twist was a rather pleasant surprise, and this book has plenty of twists and turns to keep you hooked, a thoroughly enjoyable fast-paced read.

Again Seanna is a beautiful name. Seanna is twin sister of Hydessa. Seanna is the complete opposite of Hydessa. She confident, out spoken, and in charge of her team for the DEA. She is just like her dad’s. Dark twisted and uses confidence to get what she wants. She’s hard headed at times. Doesn’t trust anyone to get the job done but herself and her team.
Seanna is currently trying to take down one of the most dangerous cartel Javier Reyes and his team. Going undercover to get to him. Rule and Ruin are more of stalkers and kidnappers than the past MMCs. Taking away Seannas control. Which we all know she doesn’t like. This book has just as much spice as the last. I enjoyed it. Seanna truly learned to trust others and let go of her control and grew more as a person in the end. Love how the family always comes looking when something is off. Family first!

Rule and Ruin are more of stalkers and kidnappers than the past MMCs. Taking away Seannas control. Which we all know she doesn’t like. This book has just as much spice as the last. I enjoyed it. Seanna truly learned to trust others and let go of her control and grew more as a person in the end. Love how the family always comes looking when something is off. Family first!

Seek me darling was the perfect way to close off this series, Rule and Ruin are 1000% my favourite masked men and no one can change my mind. Seanna our dark sassy killer I spent majority of this book just giggling at her thoughts and the way she fought back at Rule and Ruin, I’d like to say I figured out who our masked men were but once again I was SO wrong, I had suspicions but GIRL WHAT I did not expect that 😫 the one thing that got me was that the twins were raised their whole life to not get stalked and drugged yet…. Seanna was kidnapped and drugged constantly but it was FANTASTIC. The breeding kink got me in a way I don’t know how to explain, the PLOT TWISTS, the smut everything was perfection in this book, it was the perfect ending to the series I cannot wait for the Christmas Novella to come out so we can see all our faves together once again 🥰
