Shane Corey is done. The cautious cowboy has had his heart broken twice (by the same woman!) and he no longer believes in love. The family ranch is his sanctuary and his solace—until beautiful rodeo star Remi Hawkins rides into quiet little Tenacity, shattering his carefully constructed peace. Remi is in town to visit her family, and she's powerfully drawn to the gruff rancher, who is unlike any of the fast-talking riders she meets on the circuit. But she doesn’t want to be his rebound fling. Heat quickly flares between the polar opposites, who insist they will never be more than friends…

Good read, but not as exciting as other books, written by MS Alers. Much slower her her, I have read all her books in the past. I make circa point to not miss any. Some I have more than twice, but feel as if it's my first time. This couple just a little slower than what is normal, but yet a good ending.
Remi Hawkins and Shane Corey were a perfect match with an instant attraction. Remi and Shane were afraid of being hurt because of past relationships. Remi was strong enough to leave their relationship because Shane would not openly trust her.
