When I escaped my broken past, a shell of the woman I wanted to be, I discovered a dazzling carnival that offered a new beginning and a chance to reclaim my power. The moment I met Colt and Nash, everything changed. No longer scared and alone, I found protectors who saw my scars and vowed to shield me from harm. With their mesmerizing charm and fierce loyalty, they pulled me into their world—a world that thrived on the line between darkness and light.
Colt’s fiery intensity and Nash’s quiet strength became my anchor as they unraveled the very essence of my being. They offered me a chance to reclaim my sense of self and vengeance against those who’d wronged me. In a vibrant underworld of dark dreams and glittering neon lights, one where the lines too often blur between love, protection, and danger, they showed me how to resurrect myself from the ash I had become.
With these two men at my side, I discovered a new kind of power—the kind that ignites the soul and demands retribution. They breathed life into instincts I never knew I had, revealing a strength and fearlessness that sparked an insatiable desire for revenge. The question Could I navigate the treacherous path of my newfound empowerment without losing myself—or them—in the chaos?
As the carnival lights flicker and the darkness closes in, I must Do I surrender to the intoxicating pull of our shared madness sending us down a dark path together, or walk away?
Carnival Mayhem is a dark MMF romance with some heavy subjects that some readers may find triggering. There will be access to a full list of the warnings at the beginning of the book. This story has no cliffhanger and ends with a HEA.
This book is a dark romance which took place at Christmas 🎄. This story takes place at a traveling circus 🎪. Triggers for this story : murder, violence, past assault in a foster home and bisexual awakening.
This story is about Colt and Nash who work at this traveling circus owned by a guy named Tyson. Colt and Nash meet this young woman named Flora who runs away from her foster home. She was being assaulted by her two foster brothers. A paper arrived at the foster home about the circus 🎪 and she knew what she had to do. Flora runs away in the middle of the night to the circus. She ends up meeting Colt and Nash who perform together at the circus. They both have feelings for each other but they didn’t want the others at the circus to know. They both meet Flora who they see has haunted eyes and they both want her. She decides that she wants to join the circus. They take her to Tyson and ask if she can work in the circus. They work with her in an acrobatic performance 🎭 in the circus with a mask on to hide her identity. Her foster brothers find her but Colt and Nash decide that they must kill them. Flora wants to be there to take part in the murder. They do kill the foster brothers who were severely assaulting Flora while living in the foster home with her. Colt and Nash decide that they want Flora forever in their lives and a part of the circus. One of the guys reveals that the circus is a front for moving product such as cocaine and other things. Flora feels that Colt and Nash are her family as well as the circus. This book was dark but it was a great love story. I loved how Colt and Nash looked out for each other as well as Flora.
Colt and Nash have been carnival performer partners and best friends for years with building sexual tension between them. Along comes Flora who is running from years of abuse. All three click as one fluid movement in and out of the carnival.
DEDICATION COLT & NASH This one's for the depraved little angels who crave being hunted down, caught between our bodies, and claimed until you're dripping with surrender. We'll corrupt every inch of your soul while we protect what's ours. Welcome to our twisted playground.
Favorite lines and quotes... COLT It hits me like a punch to the gut. After years of keeping my urges locked down, this slip of a girl sparks something primal in me. Something that wants to possess, to claim, to mark.
“She couldn’t handle both of us,” Colt says with a forced laugh. “Come on, Nash. Look at her. She’s like a scared rabbit.”
“Come on, let’s give her the thrill of her life!” Colt calls out, taking off.
“None of that, angel. You want this as much as we do.”
“You’re different, Flora. Special. It’s like you woke something up in both of us.”
“Because you’re ours to protect. Mine and Nash’s. No one gets to hurt you anymore.”
“You deserve to be protected, Flora. You deserve to feel safe.”
“You saved us, angel,” he says, his voice rough. “Before you, we were just going through the motions. Living half-lives.”
“You healed parts of us we thought were beyond repair, Flora. You gave us permission to love each other and you, to be who we truly are.”
NASH “Well, well. Never thought I’d see the day. The mighty Colt, brought low by a pretty broken doll.”
“Or better yet,” I continue, watching his reaction carefully, “maybe she needs both of us. Your protection...” I let my gaze drift to his mouth. “My control. Think about it, Colt. How perfect she’d be, caught between us.”
She’s exactly what we both need—damaged enough to understand us and strong enough to handle us. I saw that flash of defiance beneath the fear in her eyes when she stood her ground. How she leaned into Colt’s touch while flinching from everyone else.
And once we have her, the possibilities are endless. We can protect her, possess her, and shape her into exactly what we need her to be.
“Come to our trailer tonight,” he whispers. “Both of us want you. Together.”
“Sex builds trust. Bonds people. What better way for us to connect as a team?” His thumb traces small circles against my hip. “I’ve seen how you look at us both. The way your breath catches when Colt gets too close. How your pupils dilate when I touch you.”
“You want to play rough?” I ask, relishing the idea of chasing her through the woods. “Colt and I will give you what you need.”
Flora trembles slightly between us, and I’m struck by how perfectly she fits. Not just physically, but in the space between Colt and me—a space I never knew needed filling until now. She’s like a missing piece we didn’t realize we were searching for.
“You’re ours now, little bird. Nothing could change how we see you. Nothing.”
“You brought light into our darkness, little bird.” I press my lips to her temple. “You made us whole in ways we didn’t know we were broken.”
FLORA Nash moves like a shadow behind him, all controlled grace and coiled tension. Where Colt radiates heat, Nash exudes an icy darkness that terrifies and intrigues me. His gaze slides over me, calculating and intense.
These men might seem different and might make me feel safe in a way I haven’t in years, but some secrets are too heavy to share. Some wounds are too deep to expose to the light.
I don’t want to escape. I never want this moment to end. I want to be theirs, to surrender completely.
Nash cups my cheek, his thumb brushing my bottom lip. “Shh, little bird. It’s okay. I’ve got you.” His eyes, deep and unreadable, hold mine captive. I feel like he’s looking into my soul, seeing the darkest corners of my mind. It should scare me, but it doesn’t. I feel understood in a way I’ve never experienced before.
“It’s just— you two have an almost tangible connection. And you obviously care about each other deeply. It could be beautiful if you explored that side of things.”
“For the first time in seven years, I felt... safe. Protected. When you found me at the masquerade and helped me meet Tyson—” She pauses, collecting her thoughts. “You gave me a home, Colt. You and Nash both did.”
These two men have shown me what it means to be cherished rather than degraded, protected rather than controlled. Who believe me without question and hold my broken pieces like they’re precious.
"I never thought I could have something like this. They're teaching me that I deserve good things."
“I never thought...” My voice breaks. “I never thought I’d find people to fight for me. Who would believe me and protect me.”
“I won’t. I’m yours. No matter where we go, the two of you are my home.”
Fleeing from an abusive foster family, Flora finds herself her first taste of salvation from a flyer welcoming people to join the traveling circus. For her foster brothers Tommy and Jake, it's an unforgivable act for her to try and leave them as they have been raping and abusing her since she turned sixteen. Terrified, she takes the first steps and runs into Nash accidentally, an immediate and searing connection already blooming. When Colt laid eyes on her, it ignited a fire he's felt for Nash all these years and spread into her. A delicate bird, Tyson immediately saw the look in her eye and opened the carnival as a home for her. With Colt and Nash assigned to train her in the trapeze and silk ropes, the trio immediately found a sexual tension impossible to ignore. Chasing Flora through the woods in masks, the two take turns in her and unleash desires never before imagined. Finding lust for one another, it pushes a doorway into a true threesome relationship as Nash and Colt experiment with one another. After years of desires and want the two finally broke down the walls and the three truly became entwined.
"The carnival changes people," Sofia says, reaching for her can of coke. "We're all a little broken here, but we fix each other."
Learning of their plan to kidnap Flora, her foster brothers were drugged and dragged to a storage area where true fun and vengeance could begin. Tortured and releasing all the pent up hatred and fear, Flora finds a fairness in herself she never imagined could be hers. As the two are killed the trio have sex amongst the bodies and blood and unknowingly let her in on the true secrets of the carnival. Spilling about the drugs and murders, they went behind Tyson by bringing her into the fold. When Ty eventually allowed her in, the three were a tortured group of enforcers who gleamed joy from the torture. A year together and growing stronger everyday, they delve into the kinks and desires of one another and find depravity more often than not.
We clicked instantly. Two broken pieces that fit together in all the right ways, he became my shadow, my mirror, and my partner in everything that mattered, including the legal and illegal sides of carnival life.
Colt and Nash have been best friends and acrobatic partners at the carnival for years. But an underlying attraction has been brewing between them for almost as long. An attraction that finally bubbles to the surface when they both begin to pursue a new acrobat that has joined the carnival named Flora.
As the three of them grow together as a throuple, they also learn how to overcome and heal from their pasts so they can move forward together.
I have been looking forward to this book since I first met Colt and Nash and felt an attraction between them even as background characters. And MMF ménage is like my favorite romance genre ever so this was such an exciting one for me to look forward to.
I enjoyed it a lot and I absolutely loved Colt and Nash and Flora. When it comes to this series you never really know what kind of guys you're going to get, but Colt and Nash were great. Good and loving towards Flora and supportive of her and her healing. Loved them.
I really flew through most of this book. But my one issue is that it was too long with too little conflict. The drama with her foster brothers was wrapped up before page 300 and then the last hundred pages were very anticlimactic. I kept waiting for something else to jump out and happen, but nothing did. So I think this book would've been better around 300 pages, OR, just spread out the conflict a little more -- have a few close calls before taking them out. It was all way too easy.
Still, I loved the three of them and the sex was so hot. I absolutely love MMF when done right and it was done well here.
Overall it was worth the wait. Definitely my favorite in the series. Still not perfect, but good. And I'm looking forward to Remy's book, which I believe is the final book in the series as of now.

The blurb gave the story hope. Even the beginning is the story started a though it was going somewhere, but then the plot started skip or maybe it was just stuttering.
The author gave enough of a backstory of the FMC- a girl who was afraid of touch, who has been abused for years. It just felt disingenuous when she suddenly was okay with being propositioned after a few hours of knowing the MMCs after running away from her abusers. The scene that followed felt like I had missed something, so I backtracked to make sure I didn't miss any pages . . . Nope. This crazy, unbelievable scene was happening within the first 40 pages of story. Just after meeting the MMC characters, I'm supposed to believe that she is suddenly trusting and okay with men k!nky with her?!
Everything just felt so forced and rushed to get to this level of trust and comfort with one another. As a child of abuse, I just don't see how she could have overcome years and years of physical and emotional trauma to get to the level to be okay with where the FMC was at after hours (if so, they need to share the therapy with others in real world).
I know it's not real life, but if the rest of the story was what was important then maybe physical, n00k!e (have to use other ridiculous word to get thru censorship) abuse of FMC didn't need to be written in. If the author felt like she needed a "broken" character, there are plenty of other traumas that aren't tied to that.
I just couldn't believe her feels the rest of the story based on her backstory. Everything felt forced. I really wanted to like the story, but the plot has a whole felt pushed or forced along instead of progressing naturally.

When Flora runs away from her abusive foster family she joins a travelling carnival and finds alot more than she could have ever dreamed of. Cole and Nash, who have been dancing around their feelings for each other for years, choose her as their acrobat partner and their bed partner.
There's very little story here, especially about the carnival, which is disappointing: it is just a setting from which to paint a whole lot of sex and violence. Now I'm not one to complain about spice, but there are times when it becomes really repetitive and boring, especially when the MCs say and do the same old things time and again. Ok, the author does try to vary it in different settings, it's just a shame she didn't do the same with the dirty talk.
Apart from that small observation this is a well written piece of erotic horror that slowly reveals the hidden desires of the three MCs, until the story becomes a continuous rollercoaster of the depths of their depravity. The inclusion of erotophonophilia, lust murder, was unexpected (but then I didn't read the TWs), and quite frankly unnecessary. This is the second book by this author I have read and both glorify this paraphilia, which for me, crosses a line, and has me wondering if this is the norm for erotic horror. My fault for not reading the TWs!
Anyway if this is your thing then as I have said it's well written, though very repitious. Giving four stars but probably nearer a 3.5.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice/Steam: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Relationship: MMF (⚔️ and everything) Tropes/Triggers: Masked men, primal play, degradation, murder, torture, sexual violence, rape role play, past CSA, blood play, MMF are intimate in all ways as a trio and duo Series: Carnival Mayhem - Carnival Series #6
Synopsis MMC’s Colt and Nash are acrobats in the carnival and enforcers in the covert drug operation run by the ringmaster.
FMC Flora has just turned 18 and plans to run away from her abusive foster family. She gets her chance when she sees the carnival is hiring.
Colt and Nash are instantly drawn to Flora, seeing the darkness and pain they are all too familiar with. Colt and Nash have secretly harbored desire for each other, never acting upon it out of fear. But their mutual desire for Flora causes one thing to lead to another.
Review I’m not familiar with MMF and never thought about it but was invested in this series and Nash and Colt have appeared in prior books so I gave it a go and I enjoyed it. Their attraction for one another was very obvious and there was a lot of healthy understanding of their feelings and support.
The spice is definitely there. It starts as MFM, then the slow burn between the MMC’s and finally everyone is fully with each other.
I love the found family aspect of this series. The carnival crew grows in each book and the characters reappear and work together in each book. They all have experienced darkness from their childhoods but they heal themselves and each other in these stories.
Thoughts / Synopsis : Colt and Nash are the sweetest / invested out of this universe. They are by far the tamest. Still possessive. Flora is wrecked by her trauma and foster brothers, Tommy and Jake.
⚠️⚠️⚠️spoilers - whole story*** Flora just turned 18 and runs away from her foster home because her foster brothers are @bu$ing her. She goes to the Carnival to apply for a job. Colt and Nash are acrobats and are extremely attracted to each other but don’t give in to their feelings. Tyson pairs them up. Colt and Nash immediately are attracted to Flora and proposition her to make a trio. Spice is spicing!! Tommy and Jake try a couple of times to take her back but Colt and Nash stop them and all 3 “take care of them”. Colt and Nash tell Flora about the unsavory side of the carnival (dr%g smuggling) and have Tyson add her to the enforcer side. Now they live free, with the others.

Holy crap where to start. 1. I DEVOURED this book. DELICIOUS! 2. Characters: Flora, Colt, and Nash. Holy smokes... these characters. Flora is a young girl wrought with abuse and running from some pretty fu**ed up foster brothers. Colt and Nash are best friends that each have their own stories. The spice is almost immediate, and it's so good. I absolutely loved the development between the 2 MMCs. Their bond with Flora was beautiful, and I love that it came together so naturally. 3. This was a beautiful poly book. It doesn't fall into RH for me because they 2 MMCs had a relationship as well. Which was absolutely beautiful to read. I really loved how they came together and worked out their feelings. 4. HIGHLY recommend!!!! 5. Spice! SPICE!!!! SPICE!!!!!!!! OMG THE SPICE! I absolutely LOVED the amount of sex these guys had. Within the first few chapters...just...*chefs kiss* delicious.
Selena Winters slayed with this book. Like omfg give me more of this. Mfm,mmf, yes, please.
I have loved every book in this carnival themed series! I am devastated that the next book may be the last in the series! I really don't want to say goodbye to these characters. This book centres around Flora, a young woman running from her foster home and the horrific people and abuse she has had to live with. She finds herself in the midst of the travelling carnival, and she runs straight into the arms of trapeze artists Colt and Nash. There is darkness in their eyes, yet she feels safe with them. But with her past hiding in the Shadows, waiting for the opportunity to take her back, will she ever be free and will she stay safe? Brilliant book! Part of a fantastic dark romance series that I couldn't stop reading! I love the passion, obsession and dark themes throughout! Well done Selena! Can't wait for more from you!.

This book. THIS. BOOK. The level of spice that is contained within these pages has made me weep! And I do not mean from my eyeballs at this point. Lawdy, I think every masked-man-loving person is going to have a field day with this one and I can tell you that it makes you *instantly* need more the second that you get it.
There's a level of tension brought in that it feels like only Selena here knows how to bring out! The chase has been so perfected that you can feel it in your bones just what giving up that control does for you, and the fact that our FMC manages to bring together our two MMC's to form the perfect trifecta just turns everything on its head in a matter of days.
Shared traumatic pasts and healing arises with the meeting, and man oh man. I need more of this series. I have to admit that I hope this never ends.
Let us dance in the Sky and Chase you through the woods
So I have loved the series so far and I’m glad to get Colt and Nash’s Story. This is I believe her 1st MMF story, ( not sure the holiday ones cause I missed those for Ms winters) These are great reads to pick up and read when you need a change of pace or need to pad numbers. We head back to Tyson’s Carnival and take a leap of faith with his 2 high flying acrobats when a woman shows up looking for work at the carnival. As with all the series there is an instant connection between Flora and the men. But there is a twist with it because we have 2 best friends that both wanted to be more but couldn’t own up to it till they had her between. Its a sweet kinda thing because they didn’t want their friendship or the family built with Tyson. We have our faithful primal and mask kinks throughout the book. One of the things I love about the Carnival series. We also have a woman taking back her power. Honestly, what I asked for in Tyson’s book review we are getting now. I wanted the women to be all in and we get that with Flora, both the Carnival and the other side of the family business. We also see Tilly come into her own ability in this book.
So 5 stars as always. I can’t wait till we run again from the Carnival men
4.5 stars for Nash, Colt and Flora's story. This one was so far the best story. It has so much spicy heat, violence, some drama and the sweetness of healing. Nash and Colt have been working together for about 10 years and have been denying that they each are attracted to each other. Flora has been abused in a foster home and is just turning 18 when she decides to escape and try her luck at the circus. The first person she meets is Nash and the story moves on from there. I really liked the character development in this one. I feel they really did complete each other. All three of these MCs were written to have a bond and you could feel that while reading the story which made it such a sweet read even through all of the violence. I also liked that they worked with her and gave her all she needed to heal and that they learned to heal as well.
The first thing you have to know about this book is that every character is twisted and broken. This story isn't morally grey but rather morally black. Trigger warnings are posted in the beginning for anyone but honestly this book is for people without or who have very few trigger warnings because it is DARK!
That being said it was amazing! I love found family stories where the characters all have their issues and personality flaws but still somehow fit together seamlessly. This is a why choose romance with fluid shmexyness, violent scenes and a lot of blood and gore. I loved every page of it and it's part of an ongoing series!.

Flora just turned 18, and she’s been counting down the days to escape her foster home ever since she was 11. Life there was hell — the kind you never want to relive. When she finds a flyer for the local carnival hiring, it feels like fate. She’s an incredible gymnast, and this is her ticket out.
At the carnival, she meets Colt — tall, hot, and intense — and his best friend Nash. The chemistry between all three is instant. Even though neither guy has ever shared before, the connection they feel with Flora is something new and powerful.
I loved the Christmas setting and how Flora found a job at the carnival before diving into romance. It’s definitely a fast burn, but somehow it works. It feels like all three of them were exactly what each other needed in the most chaotic, beautiful way.

This book and book five are probably my least favorite in the series. I expected more out of this one and I was left wanting. I love Selena Winters’ books and this being the only one where it involves more than one MMC, I was excited.
Don’t get me wrong it was still good and if you like her other books, you’ll like this one. Would I read this again? Yes, but probably only if I’m rereading the whole series unlike books 1-4.
I had to read this in one sitting. I could not put it down. You have the abused, barely adult woman running to freedom, the two older men, partners in work and friendship for 10 years and in the background, a traveling circus with all the characters. This book was DARK, I won't lie. There is torture, brutality, drugs but there is hot sex, damaged people finding healing, finding family ties with strangers, retribution and love. If you are not afraid of the darkness, this is a great story. I recommend it.
There are so much spicy shenanigans in this story! You would think they would overpower the story, but it didn't. There is still a story to be read.
This is a slow-burn and an insta-love. Slow burn with Nash and Colt, but insta-love with Flora. Such fun!! And you just got to love a bit of revenge with your spice. They were so good for each other. No third act break up. Just three broken characters working to make each other better.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I could not put this story down. You have the mistreated, barely adult woman fleeing to freedom, the two older men who have been work and friendship partners for many years and in the background, a touring circus with all of the players. While this book is dark and contains torture, brutality, and drugs, it also contains hot sex (a lot of hot sex), wounded individuals seeking recovery, and strangers forging family bonds, retribution and love. If you are not afraid of the dark, this is an excellent story that I highly suggest you read!
Carnival Mayhem is so frickin HOT!!! I absolutely love the Carnival series by Selena Winters. She gives us one hell of a super spicy story....EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!!!! This is a MMC with small story heavy on the spice! CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS Y'ALL!!! Flora, is running from her foster home and the abuse she has had to live with. She stumbles into a carnival, and smack-dab into the arms of Colt and Nash. These boys are HOT and DARK, but yet she feels safe with them. Grab this one and go on the carnival ride!!!!
Sorry in advance for the bluntness of this review.
Will leave an in depth review later but TLDR-author sucked at writing believable back stories(in regards to the current situations and how someone with that backstory would actually respond)/plot development/chemistry between characters and the entire book after the ridiculously unbelievable smexy scene on PAGE 40 of the book felt entirely forced, thrown together mis mashed, and I should've DNF'd instead of continuing thinking it would get better when it in fact got worse.
4.5⭐️ A you lady escapes her abusive foster brothers by joining a circus, but they follow her and try to take her back… but the acrobat boys she has been drawn to are super protective and flip the script on them…
A smutty & violent story of healing trauma and accepting all parts of yourself openly! So good! Love Colt & Nash… and I always love when the fmc embraces her viciousness and violently takes her revenge!!!
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 MMF everyone is fucking everyone in all the combos you can think of! 😂
Listen..... I love me a fucking hot Sexy Party, and Selena did NOT disappoint 🥵 I love Why Choose, I love it more when ALL parties get to have some fun 😉😉 Nash, Colt, Flora.... My new fav trio 😏😏 They are absolutely perfect, and their story unfolding will give you all the feels 🫶🫶💜💜 I haven't cried at her books yet but this on? 😭😭😭 ugh they way they heal each other 💜💜 So ready for Remy's story, and others Selena releases!.
I could not put this book down. Listen the plot is short. .. plot alone is a couple chapters. The spicy scenes are HOT! and EVERYWHERE. This is the second book I've read by Selena and I am a STAN. Her characters are lovable, the details are tantalizing, and they read so smoothly. I have added EVERY ONE of her books onto my TBR. I finished this in a day because I couldn't turn away.

This one is different, this one is a ménage and since there’s three characters there’s three POV; Colt, Nash and Flora. All three carry scars and trauma and this is an emotional tale that is very well done. All of that being said, read the trigger warnings and the sample. There’s a great story here but there there is difficult subject matter too.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Colt and Mash are circus acrobats and they meet Flora when she runs away from her home and her foster family, hoping that the circus will take her away from her hell. From the very first moment, both Colt and Nash feel a strong connection with her and let's say that things don't take long to get 🔥 between them. What didn't convince me as much was the enforcer side of these 2, I suppose it's because that side of them doesn't come out much in the book.
Carnival Mayhem by Selena Winters Freaking so good but so many OMG. Yes there is a warning to read with caution if you can’t handle the heat or the gore. Buts that’s why it’s good. It’s fiction and Flora gets her revenge and has her two delicious cakes to fix her back and make her whole. So far this Carnival series is really mind blowing good.
