She is headed to the mountain to help her grandparents out. They own the local general store, but lately after illness things have been getting away from them. She has just had a bad break up and frustrating with men. She walks into the den and immediately sees him. A big hunky flannel covered mountain man and their eyes lock. He is back on the mountain to take care of some business, namely, to evict some tenants in one of his buildings that haven’t been paying their rent, but it is also the place he feels most at home. He is just finishing dinner when she walks in, she is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen, and when their eyes lock, he knows she is the one. They spend the night together, but she leaves in the morning before he wakes. They are both surprised when he shows up at his tenants and finds out that they are her grandparents. This is a cute quick hot read. They have their first meet up without having any idea who the other art and it is just pure chemistry. After that, they have to navigate some challenges, but when something seems destined to be, you have to fight for it. This is a short story format so you don’t expect to get detailed character development or complex plot lines. This one’s pretty straightforward. You get enough character development to feel invested in them and route for their happily ever after. As with the rest of the series, the epilogues are everything.

He is on his way to Rock Creek to visit family and give a grocery owners an eviction notice on an old lease that is behind on payments. Image Wolf aka Eric Wolf when he notices a beautiful woman in the entry as he finishes his dinner. There is a look in her eyes when she notices him so he order a dessert;waiting to see if something more happens. Amelia joins him for dessert and then a night of her losing her v-card; he knows her as Amelia. When he wakes the next morning, Amelia is gone. Where did Amelia go? No note. Then he meets Emmie as her grandparents call her;what is her reaction to the man taking her grandparents' grocery building? Can Wolf convince her that he will do anything she wants to get her back? This is one outstanding ebook. I really didn't want to put it down. It's just that good. Emmie is going to help her grandparents with their store. She stops to rest up just a little bit fbefore she gets to Rock Creek. Eric has business in Rock Creek but wants to clean up and get some rest. He goes to the motel restaurant and is mesmerized by the beauty walking through the door. Emmie has made a huge decision but has to find a man she's attracted to. She sees a good looking mountain man and feels like she's been zapped by electricity. Their chemistry is unbelievably hot and their attraction is intense. Will they start to feel that home is where the heart is or will hurt drive them apart? Can Emmie forgive Eric for having kept an important secret from her and can she find a way to deal with her broken heart? Does Eric acknowledge that his feelings are so much more than he realized and does he get Emmie to forgive him and accept his heart? I absolutely recommend this 5⭐️ hit. This exceptional author has written this sizzling electric ebook youwill absolutely love. I certainly did.

The first five books are brothers, the next books are about the cousins.) Emmie & Eric are traveling to Rock Creek separately, they stop to rest at a motel with restaurant connected. Eric is finishing his dinner and he sees Emmie come in. Their eyes connect... and instant lust! He orders chocolate cake. 🩷 Brave & Bold Emmie approaches Eric and sits down with him. She tries his chocolate cake, they both enjoy it... however Eric wants a different type of *dessert* 😏 to finish his night. What follows is some very spïcƴ times, Emmie leaving in the morning, some drama, some avoidance... A fun short romantic read. Lena gives us a HEA and future epilogues! 💕

Eric and what are you doing both on their way to Rock Creek. Stopping along the highway at Tumbleweed off the highway for dinner and to sleep. Where they meet by chance at the bar diner. Amelia running away from the city and a horrible ex to help her grandparents who she found out are having financial trouble and her general store. She sets her eyes on Eric who is sitting across the room staring at her. Never believing that she would see someone and to be drawn to them at first sight. And not a boy but a man realizing that she wanted someone that was looking at her like she was a gorgeous being meant to be something special not like she was just a meaningless object as her ex said. When fleeting night changed their lives forever.

My Mountain Man's Temptation is Book 6 of the Rock Creek series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, curvy virgin gets her mountain man romance. Emmie is a 22 year old sweet and curvy girl who is headed to Rock Creek to visit her grandparents after breaking up with her boyfriend. Eric is a hunky businessman and mountain man returning to Rock Creek. The two share a hot night but Emmie is gone the next morning. When he goes into town, he sees her again but it turns out he is there to evict her grandparents from their general store. Can she forgive him? Can they make love work? These two had insane chemistry and we got a very happy ending after some minor angst. I loved it.

An instalove story, with an extra large dose of HOT! The first book I read by Lena was this book before this one in the series, "My Mountain Man's Secret". After reading this one, I'm even more interested in going back to the beginning and reading about his cousins finding love.

Definitely rec this hot interlude. Not many authors do it, but I'm also a super fan of the multiple flash forward epilogues. I love seeing where their love took them.

Amazing hot short read in Rock Creek series by Lena Rae. Wonderful characters and their instalove romance was delicious as their chocolate cake. I like the writing style of the Author.
Emmie and Eric had their eyes on each other from the second they see each other - great chemistry and undeniable attraction. You just need chocolate cake to sign the deal.

Loooooved this OTT instalove mountain man romance!!! It has a tiny bit more drama/suspense than some but it was just sooooo perfect!!!! Eric (Wolf) and Amelia (Emmie) are sooo perfect for each other and I love seeing them together! Their passion for each other is amazing😍😍😍 The heat in this one is SMOKING!!!

Of course the writing is great and it’s easy to read in an hour or two…🥰.

My Mountain Man’s Temptation is sizzling and sweet! Emmie and Eric burn up the pages with their emotional drama and physical connection. I loved their meeting scene—it was hypnotic and beautiful. The drama between them when they meet for the second time time is explosive. Eric’s overreaction is just wow. And the sticky sweet instant love is delicious.

Emmie and Eric, what was meant to be a one night stand became a lovely HEA.
They meet when they are on a road trip and stay in a roadside motel. Passion flares. She leaves in the morning.
Turns out they both have the same destination. He is the businessman who is wanting to evict her grandparents from their store. Harsh words are spoken, days of missing each other and things do get sorted.
Spice, angst, friendship and love. A great read

THIS. IS. AN. AWESOME. STORY. I absolutely loved the plot, starting with the first meeting of Amelia and Wolf. There is the perfect amount of steaminess. The HEA is EXCELLENT.

I love the instant connection that Emmie and Eric have. This is the first book that I've read of the Rock Creek series and now I want to read them all. Lena does a fantastic job of creating a bit of a back story so you know where the characters are when they meet and you know what they're going through when the connection happens. And BOY oh BOY does it happen. Awesome read! You'll love it.
