Wrong Train, Right Wolf is part of the Love Sync Mates series. It stars Adan, an Alpha wolf shifter, and Braylon, a human omega. This is told in first person from Adan and Braylon’s povs.

I enjoyed reading this. It’s a cute, fluffy, humorous, fast read and was exactly what I was looking for at this time. The plot was interesting and moved along nicely most of the time. It did however, slow down after Adan and Braylon mated and Braylon became pregnant. But luckily not much page time was spent on that topic.

This time the author created two characters with unique voices. This is something that has been a problem in previous books, but in this one most of the time the characters’ mannerisms and speech patterns were unique to each character. However, Braylon did lose some of his, I’d call it his ‘bounciness,’ and excitability once he mated with Adan, which means some character continuity needs to be worked on.

Another part that still needs work is the scene transitions, like Adan talks about leaving for Braylon’s house or something like that, but he doesn’t talk about leaving his work or leaving his home, just his thoughts, and suddenly he’s at Braylon’s. A sentence or two of transition to assist in visuals for the scene would be helpful.

Overall, Wrong Train, Right Wolf was an entertaining read. I give it 4 Stars.

Wrong Train, Right Wolf is part of the multi author Love Sync Mates Season Two series. This is the story of Adan an Alpha wolf shifter and Braylon a human omega. This was a quick sweet read. I loved the characters because they each have their own unique personalities. I loved the humor in this story. I really loved watching them choose the name Dex for their dog. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Adan and Braylon’s Adventure . . .

Alpha wolf shifter Adan had to catch an early-morning flight but needed a nap before heading to the conference. He hadn’t counted on sleeping through the alarm! Already a half hour behind, he dashed out the door. Traffic was, of course, outrageously slow and the rideshare driver refused to drive over the limit or weave in and out of the crazy drivers. Lips smeared in foam from the tooth-brushing he did on the way, he got to the gates just as they closed. The rest of the flights to his destination were fully booked until that evening. So the only choice left was to take a train. Unfortunately, his bag got stuck in the turnstile and the others trying to get through to catch their train were not happy. Most of the seats seemed to be taken and there was no overhead room for his bag. When Braylon, a human, arrived, Adan almost toppled over as his wolf verified the guy was their mate!

Adan was trying to figure out how to get near the human so they could get to know each other. Then someone else made Adan move again and he went back to the seat Braylon had claimed was his. Adan examined the tickets and noticed the human was going to Rosedale. He explained to the confused human that this is an express train from Fairview to Springfield and the Rosedale train departed from platform thirty. He was on the wrong train and there was no way off the express! Braydon lunged for the emergency brake but Adan caught him before he could cause chaos. He told him he would help him get to his aunt and uncle. However, the council shifter rules made it clear Adan could not reveal his wolf to a human unless they were mated. Would Braydon find out Adan is a shifter? Would he be willing to become the mate of a shifter? Or would he want nothing to do with this unusual situation?

I loved the human and the characters’ interactions. The author writes an awesome story that you won’t want to miss. Find out how their story plays out and whether they will get their HEA!

Braylon is heading back to visit his aunt and uncle. It's to be a surprise. Then he thinks he'd better check that they're home. He's packed and has a house warming gift for them. Once he finds they are home he heads to the train station. He sits and then someone lets him know he's in his spot. This happens a couple of times until it's discovered he's on the wrong train.
Adan has just met his mate...his very human mate...who doesn't know about shifters. NOw his mate wants off and will jump if he needs to?!!!! NO!!
There is one guy who is quite snarky and mean. Eventually he gets off and Adan thinks he knows about shifters although he does smell human. Then he tells Braylon he;ll take him to his aunt and uncle's place. Braylon meanwhile is turned on about this man. He always felt that if he found an alpha he wouldn't let a piece of paper stand in his way.He knows his aunt and uncle want him to find someone. But if it happens it happens.
NOw he and Adan are in a car heading to his "parents" town. They get there and he's invited in for dinner. While he's eating his cell rings. He excuses himself and goes outside. It's the head of the Shifter Council, His Excellency. He's told he needs to not reveal himself before mating. How in the world is suppose to do that. Now he needs to figure out a plan to mate his mate. It's hard when he doesn't know how Braylon actually feels. Braylon meanwhile is trying to understand how he could be drawn to this sort of stranger.
Will they finally figure it out? Or will Adan have to gaze and be near his mate from afar?
A cute story of a shifter and a human who is clueless to shifters.

Colbie Dunbar's contribution to the Love Sync Mates Season 2 multiauthor collaboration follows the same pattern as her Dial M for Mates series. Rather than a misdialed phone number, it's missing his airplane to a conference which sets in motion the event where an al[ha wolf shifter meets his human omega.
It's a familiar trope/setting by now, but it's original to Ms. Dunbar (or Dunbar/ Hart). And the author does make each story unique and fun. The commonalities are mpreg with delivery, a snarky and very literal alt-animal and meeting said animal. As soon as the human digs fingers into the soft hair/pelt, they're goners.
Wolf Adan can't reveal his alt-self to his mate, Braylon until after the mating per Dexter, the Alpha king. He tries to disclose the information without disobeying. His attempts were kind of cute. Dexter's reasoning seemed flimsy. Perhaps it was explained in Dunbar's Season 1 book, which I haven't read.
The delivery plan and actual birth were unique. So was naming Adan and Braylon's dog, Dex, after the Alpha.
It was a sweet read. Just the right length. And familiar, but original. Colbie Dunbar is one of my favorite mpreg authors. I love the lite stories and no longer bother reading the blurbs. Because they're always fun.

Wrong Train, Right Wolf is part of the multi author series Love Sync Mates Season Two. This is the story of Adan and Braylon. Adan is an alpha wolf shifter and Braylon a human omega. The two meet on the train because of a seat mix up. Braylon has also gotten on the wrong train. Immediately upon meeting, Adan knows that Braylon is his fated mate. So to spend more time together, he offers to drive Braylon to his grandmothers once they get off the train. Both Adan and Braylon are sweet and sparks immediately fly. The trouble comes once the head of the Shifter Council, His Excellency tells Adan that can't reveal himself before mating. Unwilling to mate without first telling Braylon that he is a wolf shifter, Adan is challenged to reveal himself without revealing himself. This is their story. The book itself is written well and is easy to read. A quick, sweet read you will enjoy. I will say that I didn't enjoy this book as much as I was expecting. I love the author but the whole "can't reveal" thing took me out of the story. The reasoning behind the demand seemed very weak to me. I didn't enjoy that part of the book. But I enjoyed the rest of it. The two of them, Braylon and Adan had chemistry for days. I look forward to reading another book in this series.

Who would’ve ever guessed that getting on the wrong train could lead you to your fated mate? That’s exactly what happened to Braylon, an omega human, though it was definitely a shock to the alpha wolf shifter, Adan as well.

This book was so much fun! Starting from the very first page, you couldn’t help but get tickled at the back and forth between Adan and his wolf as well as the sheer comedic goings on throughout the whole book. My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE part was when Braylon accidentally came across Adan getting ready to shift—stark naked in the woods—and thinks Adan must be a pervert or something. Adan, thinking fast, tells him he’s a CFA, a clothes free advocate 🤣 and Braylon falls for it…hook, line and sinker. Later, Braylon asks Adan’s friend if he’s a CFA as well, acting all proud that he’d remembered the term; I nearly busted a gut laughing.

I have to say, I laughed so many times throughout this book and I think a lot of readers will too. At the very least, I hope you’ll give it a try and, if you enjoy it as much as I think you will, that you’ll spread the word, we all need a good laugh every now and then. 5 stars!!.

Alpha wolf shifter Braylon’s day goes from bad to worse when he misses his flight and ends up on the wrong train. But what should have been just another travel mishap leads him straight into the path of omega Adan—a confident, intriguing stranger with secrets of his own. Their attraction is undeniable, but Adan is hiding something big—something not entirely human. As their connection deepens, Braylon is pulled into a world he never knew existed, one filled with pack politics, shifter instincts, and a bond stronger than either of them expected. Adan knows Braylon is his fated mate, but shifter laws stand between them and a future together, as Adan struggles to find a way to reveal his truth without losing his mate. As secrets unravel and an unexpected pregnancy shakes up their future, Adan and Braylon must decide if trust and love can bridge the gap between their vastly different worlds. Steamy, heartfelt MM, fated mates, shifter romance, with a side of humor and mpreg, exploring finding love in unexpected places, connection, magic, family. loyalty, and trust. Perfect for readers who love fated mates, shifters, and love stories full of heart.

Sometimes fate put two people in the right place at the right time 😊. Adan is an alpha wolf shifter who missed his flight forced to take train but ends up on the wrong train (or the right train) and a travel frustration ends working itself out the moment he scents his fated mate. Barylon a human omega with enough confidence to share, an air of secrets about him and instant attraction for the man who had the wrong seat but was willing to assist him with to his aunt/uncle’s home. Although Adan’s hands are tied, he can’t tell his mate that he is a shifter, and the council is insisting they be mated before he is allowed to show his wolf although he doesn’t understand why but they are the council. But he needed to let his wolf out so he went out into the wood near his aunt/uncle’s home unbeknownst to him Brylon followed him and saw him shift where are they headed, will he accept him …all of him, will council be upset with him, do they finally get to mate, and do they find happiness along the way?

This is the second book in this current Love Sync series. This is another great book to read! Adan is an alpha wolf going to a conference in Springfield , he misses his flight so he takes the train. Braylon is a human omega who is going to visit his aunt and uncle in their new place in Rosedale. Braylon gets on the wrong train by accident and is headed to Springfield. Adan can tell that Braylon is his fated mate and agrees to drive him to Rosedale when they get off the train in Springfield. Braylon agrees to go with Adan, he feels safe with Adan even though he does not understand why. After Adan's conference he goes to Rosedale to spend a few days getting to know Braylon. What will Braylon think when Adan tells him that he is a shifter???? Will Braylon run away or will he stay with Adan????? Will they get their happily ever after???.

I loved the meet cute between the main characters of this story, Adan and Braylon. The misfortune they both had was comical, but it set them up perfectly to get a chance to spend time together. Readers get a bit more background on Braylon than Adan, perhaps because his aunt/uncle are active characters. Adan, a wolf shifter, struggles with Excellency (seemingly making things unnecessarily difficult just for a laugh), but we learn little else about him. The interactions between the MCs are very natural and flow freely - some are quite funny. There's a housewarming gift issue that keeps flopping up that made me chuckle too. The connection between them was quick and intense in a way neither had ever felt. Grab this book and see how they traverse the various difficulties they encounter.

I voluntarily reviewed a gift copy of this book. This is part of a multi-author series abd is a standalone. I have read all the books thus far and highly recommend them all! Happy Reading Y'all 📚

“Maybe the universe put us on a collision course for a reason.”

This is a book in the Love Sync Mates Season Two multi-authored series written by Colbie Dunbar. This is the third book I've read in this series on Booksprout. I love the first season of Love Sync Mates so I've been snapping them up as fast as they appear.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I expected to. I think part of it had to do with the convoluted way that Adan had to go about revealing that he was a shifter to Braylon. I'll let you read the book yourself, I don't want to give away any spoilers.

Fated mates, human omega/alpha wolf shifter, MPREG, birth plans don't always go the way one plans

My star ratings:
⭐ - don't waste your time
⭐⭐ - it's got potential
⭐⭐⭐ - all around good book
⭐⭐⭐⭐ - great book
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - drop what you're doing/reading and read this book nowb

Meet cute with the same seat but on the wrong train, leading to Adan meeting his fated mate. It takes a bit of maneuvering for Adan to let Braylon know he is a shifter without shifting, but he managed to do it, especially with being a member of his creative “nature group”, the CFA, or “clothes free advocate”. Things didn’t always follow the norm for Adan and Braylon, but mated they were, a little one arrived, and Adan’s creativity again saved the day, or night, as the case may be.
Cute shifter-human mate story of wrong place/right time with a couple of minor twists on the usual shifter story. Loved Dexter and his interactions with Adan’s family. An enjoyable short read with smiles and giggles galore.

No such things as coincidences! Braylon, a human decides a surprise visit to his Aunt and Uncle is a fun idea. His travel is a bit distracted and he ends up on the wrong train. His distraction upgrades to a totally flustered state. Then his fellow traveler, Adan who recognizes Braylon as his fated mate, tries to calm him down. Adan, had missed his flight, then needed to take a train. Braylon and Adan, have a seat mixup, then Braylon starts melting down when he realizes he's on the wrong train. Adan provides a solution. Adan and Braylon have to share/learn a few secrets before they can really move forward. Secrets and the Shifter Council are providing roadblocks to the relationship. There's a lot of fun and a little creativity that is a hoot is needed for the guys to move forward. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story about Adan and Braylon. When Adan, who is a wolf shifter, missed his flight, he books the train to get to his weeklong conference out of town. He makes it to his seat only to be told that he is in the wrong seat, Braylon is human was running late for his train, makes it to his seat only to find Adan in it. There seems to be a problem with the seats and people who should be sitting elsewhere. They finally discover that Braylon caught the wrong train. Adan senses that he is his mate and comes to an arrangement where they can be together. Everything works out perfectly and they go on to live happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

Adan overslept and missed his plane so to get to the conference he had to take the train where he scented his mate Braylon. Braylon was having seating problems because he got on the wrong train he was going to see his aunt and uncle that had raised him it had been awhile. Braylon felt the pull to Adan so he agrees to Adan taking him to his aunt and uncle’s place. The council told Adan that they had to be mated before showing Braylon his wolf and he couldn’t figure out why. So Adan went out in the woods near the aunt and uncle’s house to change and run a little but Braylon followed and saw it happen so they were mated after.

Adan resisted his alarm, jumped in a Lyft that couldn't seem to get him to the airport on time and missed his flight. So he decides to take the train. He grabs another ride books his train seat and gets to the station on time. While on the train he meets Braylon who it turns out is on the wrong train. But he can't let Braylon go to another train because Adan realizes that Braylon is his mate. They both were having travel adventures but their misadventures bring them into one another's orbit which turns out to be the beginning of their story. This was a fun read with all of the mishaps that they dealt with on their way to their HEA.

Wrong Train, Right Wolf is a standalone MM shapeshifter romance by Colbie Dunbar and is the second books of the Love Sync Mates Season 2 series. Being a Colbie Dunbar book, this is also an omegaverse story that features m-preg in the plot.

A human an a werewolf meet on a train - and the wolf discovers that it takes at least two wrongs to make a right. Missed flights and train mix ups make this an amusing and really sweet meeting for a wolf alpha and a human omega. An enigmatic shapeshifter leader and quirky human guardians/parents makes the path to romance a little rockier for the couple. This is in incredibly heartwarming story that just made me happy.

I loved Wrong Train, Right Wolf: Book 2 of Love Sync Mates Season 2. Adan is going to miss his flight and any later flights are too late. Finding a train that will get him to his destination is what he has to do. Braylon is taking a train to surprise his aunt and uncle who raised him when he meets Adan, unfortunately, he’s on the wrong train. Adan just found his mate but he can’t expose his beast until they have mated so he needs to convince Braylon that he’s the alpha for him. I loved the story and the characters. A sweet love story and I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

'I was digging myself in deeper with every word.
He shrugged and kept his gaze straight ahead, until he side-eyed me, once, twice, and maybe three times.
That’s a good sign he likes us. My wolf was convinced we’d be mated by day’s end.'

I enjoyed this book. I like the premise of some kind of mix-up that brings two fated mates together. I liked both Adan and Braylon. The mess with the train (after the mess with the plane lol) certainly led to confusion, but Adan and his wolf weren't going to let their human mate disappear so easily. A little awkwardness, a little issue of revealing his shifter nature. A fun read. 4 stars.

I found this book to be super sweet and cute. Adan a wolf shifter missed his flight and had to take a train. Braylon a human ended up on the wrong train or trying to leave town to surprises and Uncle who had raised him. He meets Adan on the train when he thinks that he is taking his feet by mistake. Adan offers to help get him to his aunt and uncle because he simply can't just let him walk away he is his mate.

OMG...this was a little bit all over the place but I enjoyed Adan and Braylon's romance. Their meet cute was kind of strained but eventually things warmed up between the two. I felt bad for Adan a lot due to the secrets. It was somewhat comical that Braylon was on the cusp of finding out the big secret but always thwarted from it. This was a fun...family/pack involved...sweetness and hotness jelly roll of a romance with a very nice ending.

Adan and Braylon story was snarky and cute, with teasing and a couple of shenanigans.
The events that led to their meeting were snort worthy, as the ones that led to revealing Adan's shifter side.
I liked their moments together, and the quirky relatives and friends.
I also liked the birthing scene, the shenanigans the little one got into, and the pet that completed their family.
It was a sweet read, and I’m looking forward to the next adventure.

This story was rather short and fast paced, with some steam and funny moments. The timeline jumps ahead in the latter half of the book so it was nice to see a bit ahead in the future without dragging through mundane events. I would have loved to have had some interaction between Uncle Saul, Aunt Ellie and Alora though.

My Opinions on:
Cute, short, and sweet. Adan finds and falls in love with his mate after missing a flight and being forced onto a train. Fate knew what She was doing because She also had Braylon get on the wrong train. Adan navigates getting Braylon to want him back without telling his shifter secret. There could be a much larger world created based on everything from the Excellency, his Alpha Horatio, etc. I did not do much time researching if the author does have other interconnected stories but I did feel I was missing some information especially when side characters in the shifter world were introduced. For being as short as it was though, it was very cute and very insta love.

One misses a plane one takes a long train to his destination.one is a shifter and one is a human. Adan immediately knows that it is his mate when he smells him but he can't say anything according to their laws. But with a little wiggle room and a different way of doing things all works out in the end. He gets his mate and they get their HEA.
