In book 2 of Tyler and Ian Jamison's Daddy Detectives series, Ian is getting the hang of being a stay-at-home dad to their infant twins. Tyler is investigating the source of the blackmail threat made against Ian.
I write about alpha protectors who fall in love hard and unconditionally, through the good and the bad. My characters are strong, sexy, and slightly damaged... because no one is perfect. All of my novels have happy-ever-after endings. What else would you expect from a die-hard romantic? I'm the author of the McIntyre Security Bodyguard Series of contemporary romance novels.
I live in Ohio with my daughter and more than a few dogs and cats. When I'm not writing, I'm reading romance novels and watching movies with happy endings. I'd love to hear from you! You can e-mail me at aprilwilsonwrites@outlook.com. Or, visit my website: aprilwilsonauthor.com.
Blackmail ..a shocker for Ian, but easily resolved by Tyler. A potential positive is that Ian gets answers from his biological mom and perhaps more love enters into their family. Only time will tell. The danger is resolved somewhat easily, with a slight twist near the end. Kimi and Jerry are both present and a delight with their connection in the team. Ingrid and Ruth are rockstar grandmas and I loved seeing Beth as well. Ian and Tyler are solid and their relationship is adorable with how their love is so present. I missed seeing other friends and family, but it was a quick and fun glimpse into a great couple and family!
The Tyler and Ian Jamison books are my comfort reads. I can't count the number of times I've read and recommended them. I love the new Daddy Detective episodes---though I wouldn't mind if they were longer. Seeing the babies grow and Tyler and Ian evolving as parents and as a couple....so satisfying. Please keep the episodes coming. I'll never tire of this universe.
This is the second episode of the Daddy Detectives. Tyler and Ian are wonderful Dads. Someone is trying to blackmail Ian but Tyler is on the job to protect both Ian and the twins. Tyler gets his man and Ian gets some closure from meeting his birth mother. Love these glimpses into their lives.
I enjoyed this episode into Tyler and Ian's story. I enjoyed the format which the author said she see as like a TV show. Because we already know the characters, the short format does not diminish the story. I thought this moved their story forward and am anxious to see where they go from here. I would recommend this if you have read the other Tyler and Ian books.
Wonderful April..I enjoy these stories so much..you have a great imagination, please just keep writing for all of us crazy people out here..I hope Ian and his mother becomes more close as time goes on..they both need that..closer..thank you April from the top of my heart..
These short glimpses into Tyler and Ian’s life together are awesome. The mystery is good, and the continuation of their love story is fun to watch. This one featured a potential blackmailer targeting Ian but, in the resolution, brought about some healing for Ian to the heartaches from his childhood. Great little read!
My god this was so good short but good hate that it’s over I can’t find episode 3 I absolutely loved Tyler and Ian hope to see more story this was the end of my journey lol with April Wilson until Cooper and Sam book comes out they were all so good if you looking for new reads start with Beth and Shane’s the books only get better
A sweet novella continuing the story of Tyler and Ian’s relationship.
Whilst M/M isn’t normally my thing April Wilson writes these two so tastefully and considerately, that I am rather fond of this pair. The entire wider series that starts with Beth & Shane’s story is delightful.
When Ian is threatened his super protective, handsome husband is determined to protect him and their young children.
I love April Wilson’s books! Tyler and Ian are one of my favorite couples! This episode was so emotional (good emotional in my opinion) I love Tyler and Ian as daddies to their adorable twin babies. Can’t wait for episode 3!
I so enjoyed this episode of Tyler and Ian. I’m glad you didn’t make his birth my out to be a horrible person but someone who just made bad choices and couldn’t find a way out
An enjoyable series with likeable MCs. Ian receives a note in the mailbox asking for money otherwise the person would expose his past. Tyler takes it on himself to find the culprit. Evidence leads him to find Ian's birth mother. A nice cast of characters.
This book has you on the edge of your seat. Love Ian and Tyler and the babies are just so adorable. You can feel the characters coming alive with April's writing.
This was super short but still really enjoyable. I think I got through this story in about an hour. It's got some sweet moments between the main characters and a bit of mystery. I have to admit that these characters aren't the freshest in my mind since I read the original books last year and I've read lots of books in between but I feel like that didn't hinder me from being able to enjoy this short novella. If the author plans to write more, I'll definitely read more because they are nice quick reads and also pretty enjoyable as well.
I liked this book! Loved the romance between Tyler and Ian!!! And I also liked how they were as dads. I also Loved how protective Tyler is over Ian and their kids. April Wilson has become one of my fav authors and I am enjoying read all of her books. Can't wait for the 3rd book in this series to come out.
