Sometimes you meet the right person at the wrong time, and sometimes you have to hope that Cupid will circle back and sprinkle true love on you at a later time. This is the best way to describe Diesel and Demi’s dilemma in “A Winter Crest Christmas Reloaded” by Unique. I truly ate this book up in one sitting! The ending was bittersweet for me. I loved seeing the characters experience a memorable Christmas and a little normalcy from the hustle and bustle. In the beginning, Demi had to take matters into her own hands to be free from her ex, Crowe. She winded up making a pit stop in Winter Crest, where she took on the identity of Rocky. It reminded me of “I'm here for a good time, not a long time..”🫠In all seriousness, the way Rocky and Diesel met was unorthodox but very intriguing. There was an obvious physical connection between the characters and the closer they were to each other’s presence, the easier it became for them to let their guards down. Rocky left a lasting impression on Diesel, and the selfish part of me was hoping she made the right choice. But I think she did what was best for both of them. The story was a good twist to a holiday story; it had all the whimsical elements I needed.

There's something truly special about a Christmas love story that can't happen. Unique has a “unique” (no pun intended) way of weaving a tale that makes you instantly fall in love with the characters. Honestly, I haven't read a book of hers that I didn't enjoy! Like all her other works, she knocked this one out of the park!

GOOD READ
This was a really nice story. Rocky (Demi) found herself escaping her past, but a chance encounter with Diesel will change the way her Christmas in Winter Crest ends. She was a mystery, and he was an open book, but together, they connected in their own way, which led to a brief moment of feelings being expressed. I definitely wanted more because I wanted to read how far they could actually go if they truly decided to give each other a chance in a relationship. Loved the ending.

Decent Read
At first I wasn't going to review this book because I hate giving bad reviews but I have to be brutally honest. Never will I tell a Author how to write their story but there's so much she could've done to make this a five star read. It took me two days to read this book when normally I can read up four books in a day. I love a good love story but there just wasn't any "Wow" moments outside of Rocky/Demi stealing Diesel credit card and identification information and he went looking for her. Demi lied about her name being Rocky until the end. I believe Diesel and his grandmother knew she wasn't being truthful. I at least thought the abusive ass ex Crowe she stole from and was running from would've showed up or that she would've at least sent for the only person she had as family. Which is her mother because you can tell by the phone calls to her mother. Their relationship was solid. Hell I thought Diesel brother Talon and his father would've showed up in Winter Crest. Especially after Diesel chose to be honest and told Talon how him and Demi well Rocky really met and Talon called him dumb. What was touching was when Diesel grandmother gave Demi/Rocky a Christmas gift and told her the meaning of the chain with the inscription written in it. Diesel woke up and she was gone. That's it. The end.

Great story but I wanted a happy ending. Denim had a troubled past and was running from it to try and make a better life for herself. She made ends meet by any means possible and that included robbing and stealing from people. Getting caught by one person Diesel didn't quite go as expected. She had two choices: have him call the cops and press charges or spend the Christmas holiday helping him entertain his grandmother. Things didn't start out great but over the time together they were getting to know each other. Denim remained guarded and wouldn't tell him much about her but there was something about her that made him want to save her. He wanted to save her to help her but she didn't want to bring her troubles on him. I really wanted her to give him a chance but she cared too much for him to bring any harm his way.

Miss ma’am this is not fair how dare you give us so much in this novella and leave me wanting more. We gotta run this back for Valentine’s Day 🤞🏾 There’s no way these two paths don’t cross again.
This is my first read from this author and I’m beyond impressed. The story line was perfect I absolutely loved Diesel and Rocky (I wanted her to leave him with her real name so bad).
These two were perfect for each other this can’t be the end. I’ll even take a Easter update or St Patrick’s Day 😂 I’m so serious lol I don’t care whatever you have to do please bring them back together back to us 🫶🏾

Possibilities
This story from this series was so emotional. Rocky aka Demi running for her life found someone that could and was willing to help her as well as love her the way she needed to be loved but she didn't want to bring drama to the beautiful man and his family that made this Xmas so very special for her. I wish she would have just turn all the evidence she had on her ex and take the leap with Diesel, but she courts is that chance trying to keep the ones she loved safe. I hope we hear more from these two and their beautiful love story.

Tis the season to spend someone’s money or however the song goes for Demi. Just when Demi(Rocky) thinks she a smooth criminal, Diesel says aha not too fast. Rocky was a semi top tier con artist, but little do we know there’s a backstory. You ever met the right person at the wrong time ? This is Diesel and Demi’s story with some holiday cheer. This a novella so I really can’t wait to see what more these two have in store. Because the sparks were flying.

No for real, I need to see Diesel and “Rocky” again. Never had a novella give us so much in terms of back story but could give us 5 more books with ways this could go. I even loved the side characters of granny and Talon. Even if Diesel and Talon were going in on poor Granny at the beginning knowing full well they would do anything for that woman. This is my first read from this author and I’m already like.. well how can I just move along from here?

Awesome Read
Demi was living a fast and dangerous life. She deserved to have everything that Diesel offered her and more. Diesel didn't intend to fall for Rocky, but being with her made him happy. He saw through her troubles. She refused to allow him to get involved. Granny also saw straight through Rocky. I hate that things had to end for the two the way that they did. Amazing read.

Now, see. This story played along with not too much going on. Shorty had secrets. She never folded. He fell in love with a stranger. Everything is going smoothly. Before you know it, you've u lose track of the page count, and you're left with a dear john letter, and thank you for reading!

Diesel and Rocky
I don't like how Diesel was so open with Rocky but she couldn't give him that in return. Then her mother knew what she was going through with her ex and still had the nerve to say she really feels that he is sorry???? I'm hoping Diesel finds someone else. Rocky should of been locked up? I don't know how nobody else complained on her

This book was amazing
Definitely one of my favorites of all the Winter Crest books. I love how you developed the characters and storyline. Very seldom do we not get the happily ever after. I hope you ended the story this way because you plan to let us revisit this story in the future. I need more of Talon too!

And she did it again!!!! Man I love the was Unique tells her stories. Keeps you wrapped from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed this story. It was different from the typical Christmas story were all the Christmas wishes come true. But it was a thrill to go on. My Christmas wish is to get a Demi and Diesel 2.0

Demi/Rocky was living life the best she knew how when she ends up in Winter Crest! Winter Crest is a winter wonderland! Rocky makes a friend unconventionally and learns that there are still good people in this world! Hopefully this story continues a good read!

I LOVE the way she ended this book. It was such a fitting ending! Sometimes it’s best to just leave things as they were! Rocky and Diesel’s love was real. Probably more real than they’ve ever had. This was a good quick read!
