➦This was my first book by these two authors and I rather enjoyed it! There's an enemies to lovers trope here, where two main characters have a rivalry going in their professional lives. Two realtors working for two different companies trying their best to outdo each other.

➦Mr. Big Shot, aka Wes, owns a company with his best friend. Wes is the best in the business and he straight up refuses to hire Natalie, his best friend's sister, when she asks to work for them. Cuz he has reasons.

"Messing around with his best friend's little sister was like commiting friendship suicide, not to mention putting a strain on their working relationship."

➦Now Natalie is working for a different company and is trying her best to steal big sales from under his nose. And she's succeeding!

➦So what happens when these two make a bet where the loser has to become a private servant/sexual slave/personal assistant to the winner for two whole weeks?

➦One of the things I loved the most about this book was a very hot first kiss these two main characters shared. That must have been one of the most romantic ones I've even read. :) Definitely memorable.

➦I quite enjoyed the heroine and her feistiness and the way she was always able to turn tables on the hero. The sexual tension was delicious and the fact that these two have knows each other since childhood definitely made it even better!

➦The sex scenes were steamy, but, perhaps, not entirely to my taste. I prefer them less wordy and more raw, I guess? I'm talking about stuff like "he reached the heart of her femininity..."

➦Overall, a good enjoyable read told in 3rd POV, pretty steamy and low on drama. If you enjoy enemies to lovers and my best friend's little sister tropes then this one is for you. :)

A fun deliciously sexy tantalizing romance!!!! A series called Book Boyfriends....umm yes please!!!! So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that the fab duo of Carly Phillips & Erika Wilde are back at it again in delivering romance that will make your panties wet and of course have those hearts beating wildly for Wes Sinclair, your newest 2017 book boyfriend.

photo 730133661623d0d429b9e34060061a_zpswgwe4s5y.gif Hey, I know we’re best friends and all, but I want to fuck your sister, and watching her strut around the office in her tight-ass skirts and fuck-me heels will have me sporting a permanent hard-on and spending the day fantasizing about bending her over my desk for a slow, hard, afternoon screw.”

If you read Dirty Sexy Sinner, you probably will remember meeting Wes Sinclair and Natalie Prescott and of course naturally, Carly & Erika had to entice their readers for their much anticipated new book, Big Shot. Well, let me tell you OMG!!! I freaking love this book! How could I not when you have a hot dirty talking hero that can just melt your panties with Phillips & Wilde’s description of his wicked tongue. *wink* And of course, you gotta love a sassy, fun and strong heroine who isn’t afraid to get in touch with her inner sexual minx. And then the crème de la crème is that Phillips & Wilde delivered one sinfully intoxicating best friend little sister romance.

#BigShot

Big Shot was just a fun, flirty, playful, and sexy read. I love that this book didn’t have any unwanted drama and angst but just focused on two frenemies who are deeply and sexually attracted to one another and it took a friendly wager for them to finally admit their attraction and feelings for one another.

photo 730133661623d0d429b9e34060061a_zpswgwe4s5y.gif I need to know it’s okay, because I’m not going to stop at just one taste this time, and I can pretty much guarantee that once my lips touch yours, there will be no going back. My mouth is going to be all over this gorgeous, sexy body of yours . . . licking at your neck, sucking your tight, pert nipples, biting along your stomach, and if you’re real good, I might even introduce your pussy to my tongue.”

Wes Sinclair is Chicago’s premier real estate agent/broker. With his three pals, he owns of the most successful real estate business and of course, he loves being on top but it seems Wes has some major competition when his best friend’s little sister, Natalie Prescott enters into the picture. Natalie loves to rile up Wes and take his ego down several notches when she was able to land a deal before Wes could.

#BigShot1

Natalie has always had feelings for Wes but it seems Wes never wanted to cross that best friend little sister line. And so when she overhears, Wes dismissing the idea that she works for his company, Natalie decides to turn up the real estate competition. So when Wes suggest a wager, she easily agrees but never expected to lose. And so for two weeks, Natalie has to take orders from Wes but what neither of them expected was that two weeks would lead to lots of sex. Yes, lots of hot dirty steamy sex.

photo 730133661623d0d429b9e34060061a_zpswgwe4s5y.gif Another hard, deep thrust and he was right behind her, the pleasure so intense, so intimate and pure it forced him to acknowledge the truth. That no one had ever made him feel like this . . . this completeness, this connection, this reality. No one . . . until Natalie.”

While both agreed to two weeks of no strings attached sex, it was only a matter of time till both of them realize that this feeling that they are experiencing is the real thing. That's right, love. Natalie is a firm believer in love, marriage and kids but Wes has major doubts on the happily ever after ever since he witnessed the nasty divorce of his parents. But what happens when their two weeks are up? Will Wes be able to let Natalie go easily?

#BigShot2

If you are looking for a book to make you smile hard, then I suggest you better one-click Big Shot now. Seriously, you need to meet your newest Book Boyfriend of 2017. Carly Phillips & Erika Wilde will not disappoint you at all. In fact, they will have you begging, craving, and anticipating for more of their Book Boyfriend Series. So are you ready to get lost in a deliciously, sexy, fun, and playful frenemy love story? The answer to that should be a big fat hell yeah because Big Shot will have you smiling, laughing, and swooning hard.

Older brother's best friend trope? Check!
Sassy heroine? Check!
Playboy hero that's used to getting every woman he wants but can't have the one he needs? Check!
A bit of a hate lust going in the beginning with a side of frenemies? Check!
Plenty of sexual sizzle? Check and CHECK!
A light and sexy romance sure to satisfy any mood? Check!

I've been curious for Wes's story ever since I first got a glimpse into the set up with him an Natalie in Dirty Sexy Sinner. What can I say? I'm a sucker for that enemies to lovers vibe, and these two had it in spades.

Natalie is the younger (and hands off) sister of Wes's best friend and business partner. She's also the current bane of his existence. Ever since Wes unequivocally voted no on her joining their real estate firm, she's had something to prove. And she's been proving her point perfectly by closing what should have been his deals. The sexual tension that's always running between them? Well, he can't help that...and he certainly can't do anything about it either. Natalie has recently come off a disastrous relationship, and a playboy that's known for anything BUT monogamous relationships is not what she needs. But when a bet between them takes a detour from rivalry to bedmates, things get interesting.

This was a cute and sexy little romp. Though not really anything I haven't read before, it was still an entertaining read. There was almost a bit too much of the sexy times for me at times, where I would have preferred more relationship development and plot, but it is what it is. Having read and loved the previous series from these authors, I couldn't miss on this one when I saw it. Admittedly, I didn't love this one as much as I did their other books, but it still hit the spot nicely. If you like the older brother's best friend trope with a side of hate lust thrown in, this is sure to hit the spot for you as well.

Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde are a dynamic duo of awesomeness!! This book is smoking hot!

The writing is great. The story and flow were excellent. The true winner for me, though is the heroine. I enjoyed both main characters, but Natalie really stole the show. She’s sassy, driven, focused, unashamed, and just an all-around great female character. She’s not afraid to take a challenge head on and succeed at what she puts her mind too. I can relate to her and not surprisingly, loved her immensely. Our hero, Wes, is cocky, handsome, a bit of a bastard at times, but he has his reasons. I appreciated his progression from cocky bastard to loving boyfriend. All in all though, they were sexy as hell!

 photo BigShot.gif

The brother’s best friend trope is used here, but not in an overbearing sense. It’s there, but the MCs aren’t agonizing over every decision they make and how it will affect their other relationships. That was most refreshing!

I have to admit I don’t really get how it’s forbidden to date your best friend’s brother or sister. After all, my husband and I were setup by his sister. Luckily things also work for Wes and Natalie. LOL

Here’s what I absolutely loved: I’m a total sucker for tie-ins and crossovers to other series! The couples from the Dirty Sexy series all make an appearance. It was great to have a little catchup with them.

Overall, this was a win for me. It was a very enjoyable read. I’ve read or listened to 5 books from Carly Phillips or the duo in the past couple months, only two of those books were ARCs. So, I think that means they've made a real impression on me! I’m looking forward to more!

I rate it: 4 Solid Stars!

All I needed to hear was that Big Shot was a friends-younger-sister romance and I had it on my Kindle that very night. I'm so happy I decided to pick up this book because I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Wes and Natalie.

This was a really fun read and I loved seeing Natalie and Wes battle it out in the sexiest ways possible. There really wasn't too much drama involved in their relationship which I really appreciated and I liked that these authors kept this as a light and fun read. All of the characters, including the secondary ones, had me intrigued from early on and I never lost interest in this book once.

The story was funny, and sexy, and of course romantic, making me love these two characters. It's a big recommend from me and I already can't wait for more in the series so I'll be reading the next book really soon.

So far i enjoy Big Shot compares to Faking It. Big Shot have this naughty aspect through it. Usually we have a likeale heroine but in this book, we have likeable hero.

Wes is such naughty controlling character. He is fun, smart and oh so dominant. Natalie is a perfect match for him. She is sassy, take no prisoner type. She is not afraid or playing dumb virgin on her sexual preference. She matches Wes controlling character.

The story itself is simple. Not much plot on it. Straight forward with a lot of sexy sweet banter.

Another writing duo on the rise, Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde come together to give us one SMOKIN' HOT romance with BIG SHOT! Get ready to SWOON HARD over your next Book Boyfriend, West Sinclair!

"I honestly thought this was going to be a hard, fast fuck," he rasped into her ear as he flexed his hips tight against her ass, completely fusing them together. "And maybe we'll work up to that, but right now, I want to feel everything."

Oh, and there is WAY MORE where that came from. He's arrogant and too gorgeous for his own good. He will break your heart and not apologize for it. He will dirty-talk you to your knees and leave you gasping for air. HE is Wes Sinclair and he is about to tangle with the woman he's wanted for years...the only woman who can bring him to his knees...his best friend's sister and his personal adversary, Natalie Prescott.

BIG SHOT was an all-around entertaining and HIGHLY erotic read! There is page after page of sizzling chemistry and enough dirty talk to make you blush for days. I loved the whole enemies-to-lovers angle with these two. The banter was ridiculously flirtatious, humorous, and hot as hell. This was definitely a GREAT start to a brand new series for this writing duo, and I can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves for Max Sterling!

Wes and Connor are best friends and brokers. Natalie is Connor's sister. She is off limits, reserved for fantasies. Despite having known one another forever, the air sizzling with sexual tension, neither have crossed the line and simply flirt. Except, Natalie's a broker too, and refused entry into Connors workplace on Wes' recommendation because mixing family and business isn't smart. The secret reason? Wes fears friendship suicide if he messes with Connor's sister. Continuously, Natalie steals Wes' leasings in retaliation, and the two start a competition, until it warps into crossing all of the lines they never wanted to.

In romances, as a general norm I like there to be equal footing in most circumstances. I don't like my heroines or hero's feeling insecure, intimated and off tilt because of the experiences of the other. Of course, there are the exceptions and crazy writing which subverts everything but...

He's a manwhore? She should have a few under the belt.

And that's what this one did. She owned her sexuality and confidence. She had lovers < see the 's' there, more than one! That was my biggest pro.

Casual becomes more quickly. He was p*ssy footing a little - being scared, but they own up to their feelings.

I won't lie, I wrote this review a few days ago and when I came back to it, I completely forgot their names which gives a clue onto its lasting impression. It was cute.

Wes & Natalie

I Love a, my brothers best friend kind of romance! So when I heard that’s what this was I was all kind of YAY, happy feels!
Natalie wasn't the moony eyed sister like a lot of books portray with this kind of trope. She was self-sufficient and was making her way in the world without the help of her brother or his friend.

But she sure gets noticed for her work, I loved the banter back and for the between Wes and Natalie because they were fighting there attraction toward each other because of Natalie’s brother.

Tension like there’s it’s about to blow and when it does its explosive. I very much liked how he was with her and for her.
It’s a great story with a HEA.

I am a fangirl of Sophie Eastlake so I thought she did a fabulous job!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Slick's review:

Big Shot is the latest book from the writing duo of Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde and it is fun, flirty, and oh so very, very sexy. A best friend’s little sister story in which the little sister and the best friend are a tad competitive, a bit adversarial, and sporting a good dose of sexual tension made Big Shot a joy to read.

Wes Sinclair along with several of his good friends has worked hard to put their business, Premier Realty, on the map and for six years they’ve had a great run. However Wes’s best friend’s little sister, Natalie Prescott is honing in on his territory and building quite the reputation for herself in real estate. When she bests him for the third time in a week, Wes makes a bet with Natalie and they both get more than they bargained for.

I loved this story and the fact they both had been lusting after one another but kept their distance, Wes because of the bro-code and Natalie because Wes isn’t a permanent type of guy. Spending a lot of time together following their bet, the lines are crossed and they jump into a no strings secret physical relationship. It was interesting watching these two discover each other as adults; Natalie began to see the sweeter and caring side of Wes and Wes began to see that Natalie was all woman and he appreciated her sassy, sexy side as much as her smart, intellectual side.

While there is no doubt these two meshed well on an intellectual and sexual level and that their years of knowing one another made it easy for them to fall fast and hard, I have a feeling they will be discovering many new things about each other for years to come.

Things I really appreciated about this book is that there wasn’t a lot of angst or overly dramatic scenes and that when Connor found out that Wes and Natalie had been seeing one another there wasn’t any of the macho big brother posturing, he was rational and basically told his friend he approved and that he was sure his sister was in good hands with him.

Full of laughs, hot sexy times, and flirty banter, I loved Big Shot!

This is the 1st book in the book boyfriend series. It is Wes and Natalie’s story. Wes is a real estate agent...a good real estate agent, but lately he has been losing sales to his nemesis. Natalie. Also, a real estate agent (obviously), and the sister of his best friend Connor. When Natalie loses a bet to Connor, and has to be his slave for two weeks...well the lines between nemesis and love really start to blur……

My thoughts:

I was so excited for this book!! If you follow my reviews you know I LOVED, the dirty sexy series by the same authors!!! Maybe i put too many expectations on this book, but it was a little bit of a letdown. Now mind you it was still a good book, but it definitely wasn’t as good as their Kincaid series.

First off, the characters weren’t as likeable. Mostly Wes...although he did grow on me. I didn’t like him in the sex scenes (and believe me that’s what the couple spends the MAJORITY of their time doing in this book!!!). His dirty talk was more forced and his bossy didn’t come across as sexy like in Levi, Mason, and Jackson’s...I can’t quite put it into words...it just didn’t work for me like in the other books! It also lacked a key element lot of banter and humor that I have come to LOVE and EXPECT from these authors!! When you did see secondary characters, they were mad @ Connor, and misunderstanding situations.

Even with the problems...this book is still a solid read!! Just want to give an honest review of my thoughts on this book. Again, some of my issues might be that I came in with too high of expectations set. Either way…. I’m looking forward to more books in this series!!...and maybe still hoping the Kincaid’s are going to find another long lost relative...2nd cousin perhaps...nothing...damn lol. Had to try!

Very disappointing!

After reading the preview for Big Shot, I was certain I was going to love the book. Plus it had such great reviews. Sadly, I was very disappointed. For me, the book was slow and boring. Same old, same old. Hot H who is a man----e, only does casual sex and never plans to settle down. Then the h who although has had bad luck in the love department, still believes in lasting commitments. Typical HEA! But the biggest problem for me, in all books, is "inner dialogue." This book was almost nothing but that. I knew after the 2nd chapter, I wasn't going to like, but kept reading, hoping it would get better. It definitely didn't. 2 stars is the best I can give it.

An enemies to lovers story between Wes, and his best friend and business partner's little sister Natalie.

The two are realtors who have been competing with each other ever since .

During their latest competition, they add a bet to the mix, and . Neither of them is willing to go down without a fight, and the tension between them escalates until they finally give in to the attraction between them.

A light and fun story about a relationship that goes from long term unrequited love, to enemies, to friends with benefits, and eventually to real love and a happily ever after.

The series continues with Faking It and a fake fiance story next.

I'm not a fan of the "best friend's little sister" trope, mostly because of the way a lot of authors handle it. As if the heroine is a virgin living in the 19th century or a nunnery, where her brother has to protect her "honor".

This is how this author tackled it here. Even though Wes and Natalie had the hots for each other FOR YEARS, Wes refused to do anything because of what Connor (Natalie's brother) would say. "He's so protective of Natalie" etc. etc.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

A woman can decide on her own who she wants to sleep with without her big brother having ANY say about it. (At least, if she lives in most Western countries.) If my brother or any male relative would have tried to tell me who I could date, this would have been their reward:

THAT SAID, if you want to sleep with your best friend's sister, OF COURSE, you should think about the situation instead of leading with your dick. If either of you can't end a relationship amicably, if you're not totally into the woman then of course, give it a pass because you will be risking a lot for very little reward. But if you're really, REALLY like her, then man up and take the risk!

Another weird part of this story was that both MCs would think really explicit thoughts, ALL THE TIME. She could be washing dishes and then BAM! She would start fantasizing about the guy in great detail. This would have been ok if it had been used sparingly, but having the MCs thoughts devolve in XXX territory every 5 seconds was super tiresome.

Sophie Eastlake was really good at the narration but she usually knows what she's doing.

Not continuing the series.

ANNOUNCEMENT: This writing duo is now on auto-buy for me!

When I first read this author duo last year, it was hit or miss for me. I loved their work separately, but something just didn't click with them together. Well they have grown ten fold in just the last year! Big Shot was ridiculously good! You are going to feel Wes Sinclair down to your bones and probably your panties ;) I know I did! He is a dirty-talking, cocky and arrogant alpha. What he wants, he gets. And he wants Natalie Prescott!

OMG, the chemistry these two had was ridic! The push-pull love/hate thing was sooooooo perfect for them, I just didn't want the end to come. I was thoroughly captivated by their journey. It was sexy and fun and just HOT!

I am very much looking forward to MORE from these two ladies!!!

Such an endearing story❤
I really enjoyed reading the story of Wes and Natalie, and let me tell you that they will make you laugh out loud!

" The only thing that is going to recharge my batteries is you"
Natalie hates Wes with a passion and Wes finds Natalie annoyingly hot and sexy, but she is off limits.

As much as they tried to fight their attraction towards each other, their attraction keeps growing even deeper. Both of them knew that there was certainly going to be trouble!

They are very competitive and Natalie is determined to beat Wes at his own game. It started with a bet and it ended with a deal, that made Natalie be at Wes‘s beck and call for two solid weeks.

“ But kissing her felt inevitable and as necessary as his next breath, like something inside of him would die if he didn’t have, just this once.”

Natalie is a sassy, witty, spunky heroine that hold no fear for Wes AKA “ the Big Shot”
The chemistry between them is sizzling and the sex off the charts!

I loved our relationship developed from mutual irritation, to reluctant attraction, to Love.
Big Shot was a fun and sexy read 

Well, this was rather a fun, entertaining, quick read. Perfect for the end of a long week at work.

Wes and Natalie’s brother Connor were best friends. The three have known each other since childhood. Wes is a heart-breaker, bad boy and he was supposed to stay away from his best friend’s sister. She is off limits. Wes was doing a great job at staying away -- he refuses to hire Natalie to work at his Premier Realty. His reason is to not mix business with family … or is it? Natalie ends up working for another company. Wes and Natalie are both competitive and she seems to kick his ass in sales. But instead of congratulating his nemesis, Wes made a bet with Natalie - loser of the next sale will be at Wes’s beck and call for 2 weeks… hmm I smell trouble You can guess who won that bet right? What happens after the two weeks is over?

I really like Wes – bad boy or not he is super sweet. He helped Natalie face her fears and takes care of her when she is sick – MY SWOONY HERO . He has his reasons for acting like a man-whore… he has commitment phobia but Natalie is quickly changing his views on relationships. Wes is all alpha and demanding of his “servant” which is super HOT!!! Get ready for some sizzling, panty-dropping scenes. I also like Natalie’s personality. She is sassy, fun and smart. The scene where she was acting like a “perfect little servant” at the boys poker game made me laugh so hard
I especially love the hilarious banters between those two. Their relationship comes naturally. I think it is because they know each other and are comfortable around each other. The way they are crushing on each other, the flirting and the sex scenes are all ridiculously EROTIC.

Big Shot is a fun, sexy, lighthearted read. I adore both characters. The chemistry between them is smoking hot – I can feel the sparks fly from my kindle . Nothing too ansgty, just a beautiful, heart-warming love story with a HEA.

Can’t wait to read more of the Book Boyfriend’s series from this talented duo authors.

4 frenmy stars!

This was my first book to Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. It's the story of big shot Wes Sinclair and his nemesis Natalie Prescott.

The cold war between the two adversaries started the day Wes refused to hire Natalie in Premier Reality, the firm he created with his three best friends Connor, Max and Kyle. Working for his opponent and stealing his deals was Natalie's way at getting revenge and showing the cocky Wes that he no longer rule the field.

“Did that hurt?”
Confused by her question—because to his knowledge he hadn’t suffered any kind of injury recently—he frowned. “Did what hurt?”
She fluttered her lashes at him coquettishly. “You having to admit defeat to little Natalie Prescott.”

To show Natalie who's got the upper hand, Wes suggested a bet. If she loses, she would be at his beck and call for two weeks but if he looses, he would have to hire her in the firm as a broker.

Losing a bet to your frenmy is definitely calling for a disaster. But Natalie is not a quitter and she would make the most of the two weeks she would be stuck to Wes and show him who would have the last word.

“I’m waving the fucking white flag, okay?”

Exploring the attraction between Wes and Nat would put so many things in danger especillay Wes's balls if Connor discovered anything, but Wes was no longer able to ignore his need for her or the urge to bend her, spank her and show her who was in control.

Big Shot is a sweet frenmy love story that would make you smile most of the time.

“I love you, Natalie Prescott. More than I ever believed was possible.”

This is my first 5 star read of 2017. And, I am not even a little surprised that it is from the writing duo of Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde. They have this writing thing more than figured out, and at this point, I will one click their books before there is even a blurb. I just don't care what it is about, I am going to like it.

Wes and Natalie were perfect. More than perfect. They were not only fun (and HOT) to read, but this book should be a darn instruction manual for how to do a frenemies to lovers, for how to deal with the hate/like balanced with the attraction without me wanting to put the book down 25% through because I could never see the 2 of them together. Wes and Natalie have a chemistry that is partly that they are forbidden to be with one another, at least they think they should be forbidden.

The internal dialog is so important in a book like this, as I need to know how they each feel about one another to be able to buy into the evolution of a story (or, in this case, of one hell of a poker game...but no spoilers) and romance.

The writing is flawless. When I read a co-written book, I admit to being guilty of trying to see when one author was writing and when it was the other. And, I think I am successful sometimes...but not with theirs. It is seamless, it flows, the pacing and the story arc are perfect.

If I have one complaint, it is that I finished the book and don't have the next one.

I recommend this book!

So, frenemies to lovers. Frenemies, you ask? Yeah, frenemies. They grew up together, him being her older brother's best friend, but their relationship has turned competitive since they are both in real estate and they are attracted to each other but don't feel that they can do anything about it.

And that is what sets up the story between Wes and Natalie. A bet lands them even more pitted against each other and when one of them loses, things heat up even more. Feelings get involved and when their arrangement is up can they walk away from each other?

Oh. my. Wes is a total dirty talker and he was HOT. And guess what? He brought that out in Natalie and it was equally as hot LOL I might have even had to fan myself while reading ;) I'm glad Connor, Wes's best friend and Natalie's brother, wasn't too torn up about finding out about the relationship.

I loved seeing the Kincaid brothers and their wives! And I'm so excited to read about Wes's friends.

It was nice and really hot. A bit disappointed by the end that was rushed but still a nice read.

Sexy and sassy frenemies to lovers/brother's best friend quick, easy read. Wes and Natalie had some great chemistry. I really liked that there wasn't much drama when it finally came down to the "will they or won't they" end up together.

This book started a little slow for me because I wasn't really feeling the antagonism between Wes and Natalie. In some instances they can be hot while in some, like in this plot, it just didn't work well for me. I can't describe well what was lacking in this plot line only that it didn't have enough "teeth" to leave a very good impression especially since this was Phillips/Wilde collab. I guess that also added to the higher-than-usual expectations.

But with all that being said, this was still a better book than most. The authors have it stamped it with their usual dose of sexy and fun banter.

4.5 star review Big Shot (Book Boyfriend #1) by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde

This is the first collaboration from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will certainly be looking to read their other books as soon as my TBR becomes a bit more manageable.

Wes Sinclair is is confident, arrogant and extremely sure of himself; he is also in lust with Natalie Prescott who happens to be the younger sister of his best friend. Wes is know as a love them and leave them kind of a guy, smoking hot and a player. Natalie has been in love with Wes since she was a young girl but has no intention of falling for his charm.

Natalie wanted to work with Wes and Connor in their company but Wes was adamant that family should not work together and Connor bowed to the pressure. However, Natalie is not content and has done her best to get under Wes's skin in the best possible way by beating him at his own game and becoming almost as successful as Wes, much to his surprise.

When a bet between Wes and Natalie becomes more complicated than either expected, be prepared for fireworks. The chemistry between these two is smoking hot and there are certainly some laugh out loud moments as these two do their best to one up each other. When Natalie loses the bet, the intensity of their feelings build to the point where I thought they were going to burst into flames.

I loved the camaraderie between Wes and his business partners, the depth of their friendship is obvious, particularly between Wes and Connor. However what will happen when Wes and Natalie can no longer fight their attraction for each other and finally surrender to their feelings? Will Wes's friendship with her brother Connor be at risk? It was interesting to see that player Wes, in the end really needed Connor's approval before he could commit to Natalie.

I am looking forward to reading more on this series.

YES. YES. YES!!!!! Gahhhh! This. Book! I loved it! HARD! From the first page to the very last I was giddy over this read. One of the best Ive read in a long time! I loved the characters and I really enjoy a good forbidden romance. And this one..... ONE OF MY FAVORITES EVER!

Wes and Natalie are so good together. OMG. I loved their constant banter and one liners. I was constantly giggling and couldn't get enough. They have known each other for years but there's always been that line they couldn't cross. You don't touch your best friends little sis. Ya just don't do it. Wes doesn't just cross that line.... he obliterates it! And DAMN IS IT HOTTTTT!

Natalie has always had a thing for Wes. Hes always annoyed her while shes swooned at the same time. When she was finally able to take big steps and move on in her career he shut her down. Not wanting to mix business and family. The disappointment from that was terrible for her and she vowed to knock him down a notch. Boy does she!

Wes is so sexy. All alpha male and cocky. Hes smart as a whip and he loves women. Hes not a commitment man. He is however tempted to hell and back with Nat. He wants her so bad he can't stand it. When he gets the opportunity to have her for a while. He strikes it like a match and fans the damn flames.

Oh this book was so damn good. I loved it! I cant wait for the next book because if the characters are half as awesome as Wes and Nat, they will be just as hot together. Don't miss out on this 5 star read folks. Its one for the record books!
