Hyperobscure: A Collection of Short Horror and Supernatural Stories

Rate this book
“An incredible collection of stories.”—C.D. Kester, author of Trailer Park

From Reddit NoSleep legend Tor-Anders Ulven comes a collection that plunges readers into the terrifying depths of the unknown.

An unlucky man falls upward into the sky. A disturbing dinner ritual begins with the family removing their left eyes and only grows worse from there… A woman encounters a mysterious entity that allows her to travel through time with gruesome consequences. A rapidly aging child with the ability to control minds forces her father into a nightmare of servitude. A man forms a deadly alliance with the intelligent parasite attached to his neck.

These masterful tales peel back the veil of the familiar, revealing a world where obscurity isn’t just darkness—it’s a living, breathing nightmare.

“Reading his words and wrapping my head around his monstrosities makes me giddy with imagination…”—Michael J. Steele, author of Late Swing

These are really fun and creepy short horror and supernatural stories!
I loved that the devil paid a visit in several of these wild stories.
This is my first read from this author and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed each story. They are all extremely entertaining and well written. Some are creepy, some freaky and all are exciting!
I was lucky to get an audio version of this book and the narrator was great!

*It’s out now, and is a must for spooky short stories!*

loved most of the stories but one…

The last story was a bit confusing to understand. I’ll try again another day. But still a solid quick read.
