Crestwood Valley

Ready to Ride

Rate this book
A few weeks in the country to help my best friend with her family business sounded like the perfect opportunity to get away from my life for a while.

Being surrounded by a bunch of hot cowboys was just an added bonus.

I was supposed to keep a low profile and do my best not to anger Tom Sullivan's sons. I was not supposed to spend my nights dreaming about getting underneath the oldest one. The one with the piercing blue eyes and a sinful smile.

Evan Sullivan is only focused on two things– running the family ranch and raising his two kids. He only looks my way to roll his eyes or glower at my city-girl clothes. But after we are forced to work together, the attraction between us is undeniable. The last thing I wanted was to fall for a man, but Evan isn't like any man I've ever met.

I showed up in Crestwood Valley looking to hide from my past, but now Evan Sullivan is determined to be my future.

I don't know if I'm ready to open my heart, but I can't imagine giving it to anyone else.

As my first cowboy romance I would rate it a solid four stars. Five brothers, sweetheart, city girl + country boy, and sisters best friend. I liked the story I just felt like it could have been shorter. I felt like when the author had nothing else to talk about she would just make up something random, like for example the story gets dry and boom he falls of a roof. Like what. Anyways solid 4 ⭐️ and the spice level from one to five was like 2/3 ish

GREAT read! She was there for a job but she fell in love with the Sullivan family and kids and one special Sullivan. Enemies to Lovers, Cowboys, City to Country. Loved it!

2.5 stars. I pushed past the telling vs showing writing and it was a decent 20 to 50%. Then it was just all over the place plot wise, and I had to skim to the end....

Ready to ride

This was a really sweet story, about life changes, learning to trust and finding your one and only. I believe most romance readers will love this book too.

Very good

There are a lot of moving pieces but, it's balanced pretty decently. It is a lot and I think at least one aspect could have been deleted. Leaving the other two story points to be enhanced and it would have been better. The trauma doesn't ring true and I know for every person it's different but the entire story was told in similar voice. They have completely different backgrounds and the same emotional responses. There is a lack of depth to the emotions in general. The migraine is broken down more completely than an unexpected meeting with the ex. And even for the migraine there isn't any emotional response on her part.

The characters were annoying and too forward. I cringed every time he called her sweetheart as well. I would’ve like to see more of her friendship with Harper. Of course, there had to be a mention of one of the brother’s gay best friends too. Seriously, in every book. It seems like it is forced down everyone’s throats in every kind of media these days and is so obvious what they are trying to do/where they get their $…. not natural at all in this storyline. Also, Drew dies unexpectedly and there is nothing more to it other than that’s what the FBI told her. It was kind of random along with the death of her mom.

I just loved this book! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve never read a Juliet Keane romance (Ready to Ride) and I just fell in love with the whole storyline, hysterical family, all the characters, just everything about this book..I finished it this morning, but wishing there was more! I’m sorry this author isn’t with Kindle Unlimited! Loved their banter and the fact every conflict was settled immediately! 100 🌟’s

Finding where you belong.

She had her career take a not so good curve because of her involved with her boss. She sets off for a job on a huge ranch that her good friend from college family owns and meets her big brothers.

good story

Great way of creating the characters. The story moves along very well and keeps you wanting to know more. Just when I was thinking it might get slow or sappy everything changed and it came back to a new story. Very enjoyable

The family ranch

This was an amazing ranch romance for his sisters best friend and one of the owners. She came for a secret mission and made a life changing decision. It's a sexy read with a few suspicious happening s.

Wow

Wow. Thieving ex boyfriend, scamming uncle and loyal employees all wrapped in a family business that needs an outside investigator.
