My first book was published in 1984 when I was 12. Why are you laughing? Since then I've published 16 books and 2 novellas: two Regencies originally written as Jane Lynson, one paranormal romantic suspense as Paula Christopher and everything else as Lynn Michaels. My husband Michael warned me never to dedicate a book to him, so instead I stole his name for my pseudonym.
Michael and I have 2 grown sons and 1 grandson. We live in Harry Truman's hometown, Independence, Missouri.
Another one that I wanted to like but just didn’t. The summer camp setting was fun but that was about it. The plot was so disjointed and Crow was repeatedly pushing boundaries and then confused why Sky was hurt or pulling away. Crow was pretty unlikeable and I fear most of the chemistry was due to the whole ‘one tent’ thing.
4.5 stars A great book to read for the series, I really liked Skyler and Daddy Crow. Skyler can sure hold a grudge but that situation soon clears up. my full review blog link
This is the 2nd book in this series. It's the story of Sky and Drew, Sky is an up and coming lawyer, who is really good at his job. However a few years ago he worked on a case that Drew disrupted for him, by stopping an aquisition of someone's business. Sky has never forgotten it and therefore hates drew. Sky is talked into going on along with his best friend to a pride summer camp, and even though Sky has no interest in camping or the outdoors actually. He agrees, but doesn't have any camping equipment. No problem he'll just bunk up in someone elses tent. You guessed it, he is assigned to Drew's extra space in his tent. Cue the drama. I really enjoyed all the camping activities, including the swimming, paddle boarding, and Drag Queen Karaoke. It takes place at Rainbow Springs State Park in Dunnellon, a place I'v always dreamed of going. The relationship moves past the campground and into their daily lives, before the HEA.
What… was that? Crowe is truly horrible and didn’t become likable even at the end of the book. Skylar was a normal guy who was being completely gaslit by everyone around him. They all acted like he was crazy for being mad about being tricked by his supposed best friend and then again for not just immediately accepting that a guy that almost ruined his career did it for good reason. To be like “oh no worries though we don’t bring you into the loop but your job was actually never in danger” and then being upset he wasn’t immediately like “you’re right and now I want to date you!”. I don’t even write many reviews but this book was so problematic and bad I felt I had to.
PRIDE SUMMER CAMP 2025. This may have been a big mistake. Skylar doesn't like camping but for his best friend Danny, he'll do just about anything. When Danny's eyes are gleaming, he knows he's not going to like it. When he sees Crow, he knows it's going to be a long week. Crow and Skylar have a disturbing history. These two worked through their issues and it is a fun Book. This is a Multi Author Collection. Pick your favorites or read them all. Always a great way to enjoy a series. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS PRIDE SUMMER CAMP 2025 SERIES!!!!!!!!!!
There was so much I liked about this. It was perfect for this series. Skylar is so spunky and quick to react. Crow doesn’t seem to communicate well. Both need to work for them to get together. The sights on the camping trip sounded stunning. I’m not brave enough to do Florida nature though lol.
This was an enemies to lover type of book. It took Daddy Crow one tent and one week to win over Skyler. Once these two started talking and listening to each other they were able to put the past behind them and move forward together.
