Brumbletide : and the Golden Blood Warmouth

Rate this book
Oh, Maggie, What a mess you’ve found yourself in.

You’ve run away from home. Your father has died. You’ve gone from a scrubby little seventh year at Little Ipswich High to Head Queen of the most magical castle in the world, only to be removed after exposing that Emily Castle is fueled by the blood of slain Snickerling creatures. Your once-trusted dormmate, Thorn, has taken your place on the Head Throne, and her father, Tritch Anguis, has brought in hundreds of strange zombie-like students called the Einsreich, for which he has a myriad of evil plans.

However, not all is lost. The Chosen of George, Justice, Flori, Sara Lisa, Soleil, and Eve are back in Little Ipswich! Along with the Boggletrice Company, they must figure out a way to stop Tritch Anguis, the Einsreich, and anyone else involved in the evil plot. Then the wicked truth about Emily Castle must be exposed, and Pippin the great White Stag’s kingdom of Brumbletide must be brought to all of Little Ipswich.

How will you all do it, Maggie? Where do you even begin? Will anyone die this time? You’ve already lost loved ones. And, of course, there is the massive elephant warmouth in the room—where is Pippin, anyway?

I really enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to see how the entire Brumbletide story ends. Some really nice twists and turns to the story. Captivating.
