When Mora wakes up, she doesn't know if she's in a dream or if she has been kidnapped because her surroundings are unfamiliar. Disoriented and confused, she finds herself in a place that defies explanation, with no memory of how she got there or why.
As her eyes adjust to the dim light, Mora makes a chilling discovery. She's not alone. All around her are small jail cells, each containing a person as bewildered and frightened as she is. Mora must navigate this nightmarish environment, trying to communicate with her fellow captives while searching for a way out.
Meanwhile Mora’s parents and older sister, Rain, leave no stone unturned in their quest to find her. But as they dig deeper, they uncover disturbing patterns that cause them to question everything they once knew as fact.
Can Mora uncover the truth of her imprisonment and find a way back home? Will her family find her before it’s too late? Or will her blood thirsty kidnappers make sure she never returns?
Fans of the eerie wonder of Coraline , the supernatural chills of Imaginary Friend , and the high-stakes battles of The Hunger Games will be pulled into The Reflection Saga , a supernatural thriller series with the dark side of Harry Potter’s magic-school setting at its heart.
I recently read The Threshold by Franklin Christopher, the second book in The Reflection series and it pulled me straight into its dark, gripping world.
The story follows Mora, who wakes up trapped in a supernatural prison, desperate to find her way back home. At the same time, her family begins uncovering eerie, unsettling patterns as they search for her.
The tension builds with one haunting question: will Mora escape… or is she doomed to remain trapped?
Christopher’s writing is both dark and beautiful, with a style that lingers. I first discovered his work through The 25 Christmas Gifts late last year, and it’s been a deep dive ever since.
If you’re into supernatural thrillers that take you on a chilling, emotional ride, The Threshold is definitely worth picking up.
I started this book back in Dec 2024, I had to leave it and come back to it due to a family bereavement. What can I say Franklin you’ve done it again, ended on a cliffhanger that makes me want book 3 like now haha. This book delves into the back story of Mora a young schoolgirl that dislikes herself. During book 1 this is covered and she starts to see and hear things. In book 2 it picks up and the Reflection Girl snatches her and takes her into the unknown as she has to try escape to get back to her family. Will she escape or will she succumb to all evil read the series to find out as I ain’t giving no spoilers 🤣
This series was amazing! It was definitely a page turner, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick, twisty read! I promise it wont disappoint.
Mora was seeing things, her parents thought she was crazy, nobody believed her & wanted to medicate her until one day something strange happens!
Mora is now in the Threshold, she has a chance to go home but if she follows instructions & makes it before the timers run out. To be able to go home she has to make it to the school of corrections. Will Mora pass these challenges to be able to go home?

I honestly liked this book. I had finished both this one and the first one in the same day. I thought I wouldn't like it because it wasn't romance lol. I always get nervous reading books that aren't romance or fantasy since that's all I ever read but I really liked this one and just coulnd't put it down!
Mora is a girl who envy’s other peoples looks and her self esteem is low. What she does not know is how much a hatred for how she thinks of herself can cause paranormal activity to happen within her home and it gets even more creepy through each chapter. I didn’t want to stop reading, the cliffhanger got me and I need to know what happens next!
This book was a quick read. The second part of a series. The first book was a bit slow but this book was far more interesting than the first. It gave off hunger games vibes. Of course it ended on a cliffhanger AGAIN. Now I’m invested and need to know what happens and will read the third one.
Very much enjoyed this book keeps you k. The edge of your seat. Can not wait till book 3 comes out i have so many years questions I need answered and was told by the author there will be a total of 6 in the end. That is great. Just know that in this book Karma is not one to mess with and ypu can not run from.
Such a good book of evil vs reality. Really hope there's more from the author on this series. Mora fights so many battles and comes out on top every time. She's learning from her mistakes and now her step mother is being pulled in. It's greatly written and a easy quick read. Be sure to check it out today!!

I was reading this and it was amazing. As I neared the end it was all over and I got sad because I wanted more. This couldn’t be the end, right?! Thankfully not. The detail and how it is written makes you feel like YOU are in the book too. That is always important to me. Then I can imagine everything happening! The wait for this next book is dragging on! So impatient. I need this next book!
Loved this book, couldn't wait to read it after The Reflection, so exciting, kinda giving Hunger Games vibes, wish book 3 was available now, I'm not a patient woman lol :/. Would recommend both these books, I've not been interested in Supernatural thrillers but this was a page-turner indeed!
Fast easy read that keeps you on the edge of your seat! Seems almost like a hunger games meets Harry Potter?!? I’m not sure if that’s the best way to describe it, but I loved it! Can’t wait for the next one!
