Un tome que j'ai aimé lire et je dois dire que Yako est peut-être le personnage qui me plaît le plus dans l'histoire. Il est fidèle à lui-même et ne cache pas ce qu'il ressent. Sa déclaration face à une Nanao que je trouve encore trop passive. J'espère que son personnage évoluera, car il a un potentiel énorme. En attendant, c'est Yako qui lui vient en aide H24.
Dans l'ensemble, je trouve que l'histoire avance lentement. Mais, elle reste plaisante à lire malgré tout et la romance est vraiment mise en avant. J'espère toutefois que ce ne sera pas au détriment du reste.
Les dessins sont toujours aussi sympathiques donc en bref, j'attends la suite avec impatience ^^.

Thank god we had less of the evil women crap in this volume cause I can't it feel so sexist at this point. How vindictive all women seem to be. But I hope the ending means we are really gonna learn about our Bride some. I feel like I am ready for a little more information to be dropped about her.

I love their relationship and their love for each other. I am glad they have found each other.

Also,his mom is so gross; like super gross.

As this series progresses I continue to enjoy it. I am glad to see the end of Shinobu. I’m also glad to see Takaya wanting more and realizing just how disturbed his mother is, I won’t lie when she said she’d have his kids and marry him I was like wtf is wrong with this bitch? Just ew. I also am enjoying the progression of Nanao and Yakos relationship. My favorite part was the ending. I knew her spiritual energy reading was going to be crazy. Also kind of bummed I have to wait til August for the next volume to find out what happens next.

Se desvelan cosas de los poderes de Nanao y entran en liza adversarios más poderosos.
Pero, lo de la familia de Nanao? O sea, han pasado de ella aunque sabían lo mal que la estaban tratando, pero ahora que se ha descubierto que es especial ¿se la quieren llevar con ellos? Pero de qué van?
En fin, el tema de los demonios fuera de las barreras me parece interesante. A ver cómo evoluciona todo.

4 stars. Moving away from some of the drama llama, which is nice as that was tiring, and settling into a new arc with world-building. Background on the heroine's situation is being examined, and new characters introduced. A bit wordy/detail heavy for my current state of mind, but good.

Ce tome conclut bien la fin de la première partie. C'est toujours aussi chouette de voir les ennemis tomber définitivement, bien que cela soit un peu répétitif à force.
La transition entre les deux arcs tombe un peu comme un cheveu sur la soupe, ça aurait pû être mieux travailler, et puis on entrevoit le projet de la mère de notre chef de clan...

Cette femme, elle est tordue. Y a pas d'autres mots. Elle est brisée de l'intérieur et tout finit par se déteindre sur son fils Takaya qui fait au mieux pour la supporter et qui se rend compte de la relation toxique dans laquelle il est embourbé jusqu'au cou (heureusement il s'enfuit quand elle lui annonce vouloir porter ses enfants - on rappelle, c'est sa mère...).
J'ai eu beaucoup de sympathie pour Takaya - depuis sa discussion avec Nanao - et j'espère qu'il trouvera un échappatoire dans les prochains tomes.

Review to be adjusted once series is complete

Once the fiancée of the Byakurenji family, Nanao is now considered tainted after being attacked by an ayakashi. She is shunned and abused until Yako, head of another family, decides to take her for his bride. Yako's motives are unclear but for Nanao this is a way out.

The art is beautiful and it doesn't shy away from depicting the scars Nanao carries. There is a fair bit of world building. At first it seemed as if the romance may be progressing too quickly for my liking, but it seems more transactional at this point and I imagine actual romance will come later down the line. It's definitely an interesting start and I look forward to where this story is headed.

I'm enjoying this series more and more as it progresses. not only do we see the true downfall of Shinobu and the end of her insane arc, but we get some bonding between brothers (though that mom sideplot of wanting to marry and have Takaya's kids was so out of pocket, eeyuck) plus some really sweet progress in Nanao and Yako's relationship. that ending was crazy though, I knew Nanao would have crazy spirit energy readings, just didn't expect it to go that badly...I hope this doesn't lead to more trouble for her!!

Yikes. Poor Takaya. Nothing drives home the point that your mom is nuts than her offering to bear your children 🤮

I’m not happy with the other captains. Nanao’s past is known, and she’s always been cooperative, so why ambush her to bring her to the meeting and publicly question her? The captain of the 6th division seemed especially assholish about it, which didn’t fit the personality I expected. Then because her spiritual power is so strong and she gives off a yokai vibe, they all freak out? Bleh.

Ah! I want to know whats going on with our fmc!! Also, there are so many women i9n this story who are just fucking bonkers. One mother literally proposed becoming her son's wife just so she would not be alone. Thinking on it more, I am shocked this is only just now coming up. I feel realistically, she would have been grooming him way more either emotionally or even physically.

I am intrigued. The story is moving and layers are added and characters are growing. But I still want to see something more from our heroine, which I feel like we are slowly getting.

Oh, and the romance is not enough... it's pretty much non-existent. They are in that stage of things are good. Although that last smile of Yako... Hmmm. Maybe he will surprise me.

Continues to be a story I am interested in. What revelations, two clans taken down. There’s a cute guinea pig called, Hifumi.. so cute. I hope that Yako’s brother will get away and that the mother gets punished. Suggesting to bear the brother’s children is definitely not right. Lots of new characters.

Of course things wouldn't be that simple with the orangutan, and now we may have tengu involved while even more people are interested in Nanao, and possibly not in a good way. It started off so peacefully once the attack was dealt with, and we even see Yako's brother finally making some decisions for himself, but that doesn't last for long. Just what will this investigation uncover and what does this spirit power reading mean? Why is Nanao's seal acting up? So many questions and still very few answers, though it seems even Nanao is wishing she could remember more at this point, especially if it would mean she wasn't always so vulnerable.
