It was called. It was answered. It will not be denied.

Michael Abney’s life takes a dark turn when his two-year-old son, Gordon, begins exhibiting inexplicable behavior, unraveling the fragile threads of his strained family life. What starts as sleepless nights and mounting tension quickly spirals into a chilling confrontation with an entity that defies comprehension.

Bound by a generational curse born from forbidden rituals and long-buried secrets, Michael is thrust into a battle for his sanity, his family, and his very soul. As the malevolent force known as the Cherale tightens its grip, Michael must confront the sins of his ancestors and navigate a labyrinth of occult mysteries.

In a narrative steeped in generational trauma, cosmic horror, and unrelenting psychological tension, The Cherale explores the limits of sacrifice, the depths of despair, and the faint glimmers of redemption. With vivid prose and a relentless pace, this haunting tale bridges the corporeal and the supernatural, unraveling the timeless battle between light and darkness.

Will Michael break the curse and protect his family, or will he succumb to the abyss that has claimed so many before him? The answer lies in the shadows.

Intimate, chilling, visceral; The Cherale is both an exorcism of personal demons and a well-articulated piece of occult horror. Although the prose can be overwrought at times, that’s a minor sin for the genre and doesn’t impede the frantic pace and harrowing conclusion of this tale. Recommended for fans of ghost stories and cosmic horror.
