Dystopian Adventure Continues

In this gripping sequel to Kept, T. L. Likely plunges readers back into a richly imagined world where indenture contracts dictate fate. Our resilient Lydia, finds herself under the control of a new master following a deadly encounter . Forced into nervous alliances and shadowed by a haunting past, she navigates a city teeming with danger and intrigue alongside the enigmatic Theo, whose revelations could upend everything she thought she knew.

Likely’s prose is sharp and immersive, capturing both the grit of the streets and the emotional complexity of its characters. The story pulses with tension as Lydia faces a heart-wrenching choice: seize a fleeting chance at freedom or stand her ground and protect the fragile bonds she’s formed.
A worthy sequel to Kept, Found is a great example of character-driven storytelling. Fans of dystopian fiction and morally complex protagonists will be enthralled. Highly recommended this continuation of the ‘Kept’ series.

There was a gap of time between KEPT and when I picked up FOUND. Likely didn’t miss a beat gently folding in a recap so readers knew where they left off. Lydia continues her ventures, this time with Theo as her master. Hidden secrets and a community whose disdain for Lydia makes being undetected nearly impossible. Lots of surprises toward the end of the book, make this a page turner.
