As the twenty-five-year-old owner of a dog rescue, Faye Robinson has little time for romance, but at the behest of her mother and best friend, her New Year's Resolution is to make time for dating. She is determined to find someone stable she can rely on.
Instead, she meets Nathan Barrett, her best friend's dangerously hot brother.
New to the small town of Western Oaks and still recovering from the traumas of war and the aches of a broken heart, Nathan is not looking for love. Much to his surprise, the local animal lover captures his attention with her wit, beauty, and fiery spirit.
After a less-than-stellar first meeting, will Nathan be able to win over Faye's guarded heart? Will Faye deny their electric chemistry? Find out in this short and sweet small town romance from debut novelist Kiki Rose.
I can't handle the fact the FMC tried describing a man as hot due to dimples when he was found on a bench with puke on his face. So many writing errors that I had to mentally add in the words to make the sentence make sense. I always try to support small authors but please have your work put through an editor to catch all the issues.
