Entertaining Holmes listening 🤔🏰

This kindle e-book novella is from my Kindle Unlimited account book 29 of 30

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are involved in the death of a young boy in a chimney. There is a King of the Chimney Sweeps and Holmes and Watson confront him. It does not go well but there is a great ending.

I would recommend this series and author to fans of Sherlock Holmes and readers of British mystery novels 🌆😊 2025 🙂😎

A fun Holmes short story

A child dies while trapped in a chimney that he was sweeping. It is against the law for children to be made to sweep chimneys. Holmes and Watson sit in on the interrogation of the boys boss. From there the plot thickens and Holmes comes up against a foe who appears to best him. A fun read with a surprise ending.

Good but not great

This is a Sherlock Holmes adventure that shows the great detective and his friend Doctor Watson taking on the King of the [Chimney] Sweeps due to his responsibility for the illegal use of young boys in the filthy and dangerous work of cleaning chimneys. Not solved in Holmes' usual fashion.
