Rejected Omega and His Alpha

Love Eventually Finds a Way

As an Omega, I have lived most of my life in a facility called the Omega Preservation Society, located around the world, but those who live outside of it call it 'The Kennel'. Due to an overabundance of Alphas being born and not enough Omegas, the OPS was enacted to care for and provide safety until there came a time when the balance between Alphas and Omegas stabilized.

Now that the balance is slowly improving, The OPS is mostly used as a learning center or for parents to give up their unwanted Omegas. I was taken in when I was only five years old. Now, twenty years later and still being held at the facility, I have nearly given up hope of ever getting out of here. That is, until an Alpha comes to collect me.

Creating steamy romances that'll fog your glasses...

An author who started out on writing platforms such as Wattpad and Inkitt, creating serialized novels before deciding to take a different approach. They fell in love with romance pretty late in life, but once they read a gay romance novel, things changed. Things changed again when they read a gay omegaverse novel for the first time. It was like something awakened inside of them, and they had been hooked ever since. They liked omegaverse and felt inspired. So, with pen and paper in hand, they decided to write their own.

Although dipping their pen in Omegaverse, they do like contemporary, paranormal, and fantasy romance.

Good plot but many errors

Lots of spelling and grammar errors. Seems like it would be an ok story but difficult to read with all the mistakes. Also I think some chapters are missing? The page count doesn't match up.

I enjoyed reading Rejected Omega so much. I could totally relate to both characters in how life has treated them both. After being scared and traumatized by his own father, Five went to live in the omega Preservation Society. Living there for years being passed over by Alphas, Five thought he’d never be chosen. But Derek came and chose him and life for Five changed forever, for the good. For one… he finally got his name.. Damon. Two, Derek never pressured him to have sex, or anything else that normal Alphas did. He was given respect and time to come to love Derek.

This is a very sweet story.

I couldn't. I tried. I really did. But it was as if this author had never read a book before. 🙄🙄🙄

Half the time, I couldn't tell who was talking because the dialogue wasn't formatted properly.🤔🤷🏽‍♀️

Not to mention the overexplanation of some things and no explanation other (more important) things. 😵🤕

I think this is it for me and this author. This was my first impression, and their writing style was pretty abhorrent. 🙄

Also, this book was published in 2024. You could have asked chatGPT to structure your dialogues for you. This is just lazy work. Which is a shame because the story had so much potential. 😩

This was okay. I really wish it was dual POV because I feel like there was a lot more to the story if we heard Derek’s point of view. Quite honestly, I really hope Jason gets his story next. You can tell his heart is in the right place but he doesn’t quite execute it well yet

I don't remember what it was that I hated about this, but I do remember reminding myself several times not to delete it until I'd marked it one star on here.

The premise is good. However, there are so many errors throughout this book it was hard to see past them and really get into the story. This book severely needs editing.
