Do not read this book. 😩🤬
Lord. How it has such good reviews, I’ll never understand. Maybe they were bought??
The amount of grammar, punctuation and character name errors is astonishing. It’s like this book wasn’t proofread a single time after the first draft was written.
I couldn’t even get into the story because all I could focus on was how poorly it was written.
It’s not a couple errors that were accidentally skipped over, it’s at least once (if not more) a page.
I seriously considered the idea it is an AI generated book.

Once you started you won't put it down

From the very 1st start of this book I couldn't put it down. It is a fast pace book with good characters And suspense throughout the book. If you're opposed to that you might not wanna read this book. I found humorous parts in the book and I also found parts that reminded me that PST Israel is around and is something people deal with on a daily basis.

This was a pretty solid reverse harem story. It was a little on the short side which meant the number of group sex scenes was a little light, but beyond that it ticks all the boxes. The heroine was good, the three heroes were well-rounded enough to be distinguishable from each other, the progression of the romance made as much sense as these things usually do in a RH, and there was a passable plot beyond the romance to keep the story moving and serve as the final climax. So, overall, if you like the RH genre then you'll probably like this book.


The story kicks off with our exhausted heroine, Patty, on her 16th hour driving. She's got her 4 and 6 year old daughters in the car with her and she's on the run from her abusive boyfriend (husband? he's referred to as both throughout the book so not sure which it was). He'd been abusing her for a while, but when he threatened to hurt their daughter she finally found her courage and decided to leave. Her ex was also some kind of illegal arms dealer so she gathered as much proof as she could and went to the FBI. They raided her ex's house and had promised her witness protection, but then she found out her ex had a mole in the FBI and that's why she ran for it.

Patty has very little money because she's deliberately left her phone and all her credit cards behind to try to forestall her ex and his FBI mole's ability to track her. She was never given much cash by her ex, in order to ensure she had no resources to escape him, so she had to leave with almost nothing. The author also made it a point of saying that her ex had put trackers in all of the jewelry he'd given her, as a way of explaining why she couldn't sell some jewels to get cash, which I thought was a nice touch.

Patty also doesn't have any work experience, and has very little ability to earn money while on the run since she never even got her GED and can't provide ID. So she'd be limited to unskilled work for people who were willing to pay her under the table. Plus she's got two young kids in tow, who can't be left unsupervised while she's working, so she's pretty much screwed.

All of this was conveyed in a few short paragraphs at the start and did a great job of laying out our heroine's desperate situation. She's exhausted and broke. She's in a car that's on its last legs. She can't go to the police because they'll call the FBI and the mole will find out. She doesn't have any family because she grew up in foster care, never finding a forever home and just aging out of the system with no resources. She had friends at one point but her abusive ex had successfully isolated her from them so she's completely alone. And she's got two small children with her who are about ready to lose their shit because they've been stuck in a car for 16 hours and they don't understand what's happening.

So when Patty stops at a gas station in the middle of nowhere Montana, she's basically on the verge of collapse. She knows she needs to find a place to sleep before she wrecks the car, but she can't afford to pay very much. So she asks the woman behind the counter for a recommendation. This woman can tell Patty is desperate and eventually recommends she go to the Norris brothers' place just up the road. They have cabins that they rent out to backpackers and such for a reasonable price.

Patty gets the directions and then heads for the door, immediately running into one Charlie Norris. (Really? Chuck Norris? Seriously? That's not an image I want in my mind while reading an erotic novel. Whatever Chuck may have been in the past, he's 84 years old now and definitely NOT the kind of smoking hot man I want to picture when thinking of a hero!)

Both Charlie and Patty are struck with the insta-lust but she moves past him and goes on to pump her gas. The woman behind the counter informs Charlie that she just sent Patty his way and he immediately jumps back in his truck to follow her (abandoning his trip into town in the other direction). Charlie had made note of how Patty's car's tire was nearly flat and something else important was hanging off in a way that suggested it wouldn't last but a few more miles. Now he's terrified that she'll have a wreck before she can get to his place.

On the hasty drive back, however, he gets so sidetracked with fantasizing about what he'd like to do to her sexually that he almost has a wreck himself. Which confused me a little bit. At this point he'd caught up to Patty and reassured himself that she was okay. And she definitely noticed him following her because when they got to the Norris place she came out guns blazing and demanding to know why he was following her. But apparently she didn't notice the time when he'd drifted into oncoming traffic and then had to wrestle his truck back on the correct side thanks to his raging hard on? Okay...

Anyway, Charlie quickly reassures Patty that he's not a creep and she's more than welcome to stay. She keeps trying to discuss payment but he waves this off, saying they'll work it out later. He even at one point says that she could just pay nothing. Now, if this were any other kind of book, Patty would see this as a huge red flag that he was going to demand "payment" in another form and she'd be better off taking her chances at the roach motel down the street. But, because this is an erotic novel, she ignores how sinister this sounds and happily goes into the cabin Charlie indicates.

The kids immediately fall asleep but, despite how exhausted Patty is, she decides to take a bath first. It was understandable because her crap car didn't have air conditioning so she'd been sweating for the last 16 hours but I probably would have opted for a quick shower rather than a long soak in the tub. But the reason she does this is so the author can show us that Patty is just ALL horned up for Charlie. She starts masturbating to thoughts of him. And her fantasies are just as long and detailed as his were. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't get to the finish line because she gets interrupted by Charlie and his brother, Wes.

Wes is the youngest brother and treated like the family layabout. Even though he always does his fair share of the work (the brothers run their family's timber business), it's never seen as enough because that's ALL he does. He doesn't do extra work once he's met his quota for the day. He's also kind of a ladies man with, apparently, model good looks. Charlie is the middle brother and his personality is more of the strong silent type. He's the biggest of the brothers and doesn't talk much, generally preferring to keep to himself.

Wes comes along and finds Charlie trying to fix Patty's car. He starts asking questions and when he finds out that Charlie let a woman he's suspiciously reluctant to introduce Wes to stay in the cabin for free, Wes just HAS to meet her. So Charlie reluctantly escorts him to the cabin and they knock, interrupting Patty's self-play time. Wes is also very taken with Patty's looks, of course, but not so taken that he'll pass up the opportunity to cause trouble for Charlie by running off to tell their older brother, Mitch.

Mitch is "the boss" of the family. As the oldest he's appointed himself in charge of the family business and therefore his brothers too, since they work for it. The three brothers had all joined the marines when they were of age and while they were gone, their father worked himself to death running the timber business. Their mother tried to keep things going after he died, but then she got sick too and ultimately died as well. When the boys returned, they, and especially Mitch, were horrified at how close to bankruptcy their family legacy was. So Mitch has been pushing everyone very hard to save the business. That's why they haven't hired any additional help at the mill and are doing all the work themselves. Mitch thinks that'll get them back in the black sooner, if they can just keep things going on their own for a few years.

Except, he's kind of the only one who wants to. Both Charlie and Wes want to do other things with their lives besides sit in the forest chopping wood until they're too old and broken to do anything else. Charlie likes working on cars and wishes he could open a garage. Wes dreams of owning a bar. But they both feel duty bound to keep working at the family business while their dreams slip away and their lives pass them by. Charlie has already given up on the possibility of marrying and having children because the pickings are slim in their very small town and visitors are infrequent. So if he never has a chance to go anywhere, his odds of meeting anyone are virtually nonexistent.

Wes hasn't quite given up hope yet, which is why he finishes the quotas Mitch sets for him and then leaves. Off to some bar or for a ride on his motorcycle. Anything to feel alive and like he's still got time to do something more. And Mitch's constant harping about how this makes Wes lazy and shows lack of familial pride just pisses Wes off because he feels like he's wasting his life, FOR Mitch and that familial pride, and it's not even recognized or appreciated.

Even Mitch has resigned himself to never marrying or having children. He recognizes that he'll end up going the way his father did. Being a workaholic until he has a heart attack and dies. He saw how hard that was on his mother and he doesn't want to put a woman through that, if he could even find one who'd want to live this kind of life. But he assumes he can still spoil some nieces and nephews that his brothers have.

The men, though they live and work together all day everyday, basically don't talk at all. Mitch has no clue that his assumption that his brothers will eventually have wives and kids is completely at odds with their own hopelessness over the situation Mitch has forced them into. And they're quickly heading for a blow up because they're all exhausted, irritated, and dealing with some level of PTSD from their time in the military, Mitch worst of all.

And that's where Patty comes in. Wes and Charlie are the ones attracted to her at first. Mitch is too focused on the business and being a control freak to really think lustful thoughts about her until much later in the book. But all three of them adore her two little girls and instantly take on the role of uncles to them.

Patty also insists on doing something to earn her keep so she starts by cooking for the men, then later becomes their housekeeper too. And very quickly this has the effect of bringing the brothers together as a family in a way they haven't been since they were kids. Instead of grabbing a plate of food and retiring to their separate rooms, they're coming to the table for meals because Patty has prepared something warm and delicious and being around her and the 2 girls makes them happy. She turns their house into a home in very short order.

Meanwhile, Patty enrolls her girls in a daycare center. I found this kind of hard to believe since she was so broke. And her job with the men was one of the few jobs that she'd be able to watch them herself. Really this was just plot contrivance for later on in the story. It gives a convenient place for the kids to be once all the group sex starts happening and sets up the final climax. Patty also confided in the woman there about how she was on the run from her abusive ex. The woman understood and promised to keep the girls safe when they were with her. I should mention that she has NOT told the men about her ex. In fact, she hasn't even told the men her real name, which they know, because she's a bad liar, but decide to let her keep her secrets.

The first time Patty goes into town with Wes, they end up getting hot and heavy in the truck in the parking lot. They don't have sex but he gets her to the Big-O. And then the sheriff taps on the window to tell them to stop doing lewd acts in public. I didn't really care for this scene since it was so unnecessary. What adults do this kind of thing in a crowded parking lot in a small town? That kind of thing would paint newcomer Patty as a total whore and she'd never live down that reputation. Couldn't they have just pulled off into the woods somewhere to get busy? Not to mention, why is Patty even going into town at all? Isn't she on the run and trying to keep a low profile?

Anyway, when they get back, Charlie clocks almost immediately that something has happened between the two, based on subtle changes in their body language. He's wonders if he did something to put Patty off of him and recalls a time when he came up behind her and it scared her half to death. We know this is because she's an abuse victim but Charlie thinks he's just too big and scary looking and that's why she prefers Wes. So he keeps his distance from her.

Patty notices this and comes into his room one day to ask why. Things proceed almost immediately to making out and end with him going down on her until she reaches the big-O. They're interrupted by Wes, though, who almost walks in on them but Charlie manages to lock the door just in time. Then Wes says that Charlie needs to come out now because some local sleazeball is there and Wes is afraid Mitch might kill him.

The sleazeball is the local rich and shady businessman who wants to buy a piece of their land. He'd apparently almost convinced their mother to sell it but then she'd died before the deal could progress. Now he wants the boys to sell it to him. Mitch has already said no several times and comes very close to punching the guy when he insults the boys' parents. Charlie holds him back and points out that it's probably the sleazy guy's plan to goad Mitch into hitting him so that he can sue them for assault and that'll put such a financial strain on them that they'll HAVE to sell the land. The sleazeball then sees Patty and says "don't I know you from somewhere" so that we know he'll be the reason her ex finds her later in the story.

Shortly thereafter, Wes goes into Charlie's room and sees Patty's discarded underwear in the corner. He loses his mind and tackles Charlie and the two of them have a knockdown drag-out fight until Patty throws a pan full of cold water on them. She quickly deduces that they're fighting over her and worries that she's wrecking their relationship with each other. So she goes to Mitch and confesses to being "intimate" with both brothers and offers to leave. Control freak Mitch surprisingly shrugs it all off, saying they're all adults and the three of them can sort this out, there's no reason for her to leave. He also gives Charlie the same talk and tells him to figure out how to settle this.

Charlie thinks on it and comes up with the idea of he and Wes sharing Patty. He pitches it to Wes who at first is shocked but quickly warms to the idea. Now they just have to convince Patty, which doesn't take much doing since she's still panting after both of them. So they have three way sex together. After that the three of them start doing it whenever they can and since it's a relatively small house, it doesn't take long for Mitch to catch them in the act. He comes home to find Patty splayed out on the kitchen table being eaten out by Charlie with Wes at the top half. Mitch is insanely turned on by the sight and watches for a while before deciding to go in and bust things up. He pulls the "what the hell is this" attitude and the three lovers stop and put their clothes on.

Later on Charlie tells Mitch that he doesn't mind if Mitch wants to join them but he and Wes definitely aren't going to stop sleeping with Patty. Mitch says he's not interested, even though he really is.

Then one morning Wes takes Patty for a ride on his motorcycle. They watch the sunrise together but then 3 local biker gang thugs happen upon them and start trouble. Wes is able to defeat them all, but one of them shoved Patty in the process and she hit her head. When they get home, Mitch and Charlie read Wes the riot act for "endangering" her and Mitch orders Wes to complete both their quotas of wood chopping for the day. Wes feels bad for getting Patty hurt so he slinks off to comply. A doctor is called and says Patty will be fine. Mitch insists on putting Patty in his bed, and then sitting with her while she's sleeping because he was just so worried about her. They have a steamy moment but Mitch ultimately pulls back.

After that Patty tries to get closer to Mitch, doing things like offering him massages, etc. which he declines. But eventually he has a PTSD nightmare and when she wakes him up, he responds by grabbing her like she's an attacker. Of course, once he comes to himself, he's worried he might have hurt her and since she's conveniently pinned beneath him, one thing leads to another and they finally have sex.

Now that she's become lovers with all three brothers it's time to wrap up the plot. So she gets a text that her ex has the kids (on what phone? she left hers...). And we find out that the idiot receptionist at the daycare released the girls to him despite express orders not to because she "didn't think it was right" for Patty to keep the girls from their father just because she's shacking up with some new boyfriends. And somehow this woman is NOT immediately fired by the woman Patty confided in earlier.

The ex gives Patty a diner location to meet him at. The brothers call a PI friend of theirs to go to the diner, but also Charlie had secretly put trackers on both of the girls just in case something like this happened. Patty had at some point confided in Wes that her ex had abused her and he'd then told Charlie about it. She didn't tell them about the whole, arms dealer FBI part, but they'd deduced from the way she'd arrived that she was worried her ex might come after them and that a man like that wouldn't hesitate to use the girls as bargaining chips, hence the trackers.

The trackers tell them that the girls are not at the diner but rather being held at one of the sleazy local guy's properties. So Mitch and Charlie go there to get the girls. And the end up murdering like 5 guards who happen to be there, which was pretty out of nowhere for this story. Meanwhile, Patty is just back at the house waiting and her ex shows up. Apparently the guy in the diner is a decoy. The ex has a gun and says he's going to murder-suicide them. Wes bursts in, followed by the other brothers and the day is saved. HEA.

An entertaining story but with several holes in it. Sometimes we read that Patty is with one brother, only to discover that she's with another a few lines below. We learn right from the beginning that she'd left jewelry, credit cards and phone behind, only to discover that her husband can call her to the same phone she left behind. She claims that she never had that much money, but she had credit cards. Couldn't she just go to an ATM and take as much as possible? We learnt that he was controlling but she could go to the Bureau with proofs of his wrongdoings without issues. We heard how he liked the good things in life and then is willing to commit suicide.

On the other hand, we have two children, 4 and 6, whose speech pattern goes on 40, whose dialogues sometimes don't make sense.

As for the three brothers, although different amongst themselves, had all the same issue: lack of comunication. They all had issues, and all dealt with it - or not - their way.

If this book had been written a bit differently, it would be so much better...

Patty, Charlie, Wes, and Mitch

This a very good, emotionally charged, RH romance. Patty is running with her two girls from an abusive, criminal ex. She has not stopped for sleep or proper food in too long. She is sent to meet the three brothers and rent a cabin. Charlie, Wes, and Mitch inherited a timber yard and land. The plot was very good and the imaging well done. There are a few editing mistakes but they did not cause any problems. Read how Patty and the brothers overcome all the problems.

Good book. I loved the MMC's! Hot, muscular, sexy, logger brothers. They were so nice to FMC, a single mother with 2 young daughters on the run from her abusive ex-husband. The brothers take to the little girls right away and the girls to them. It's so sweet.
The brothers hire FMC to cook for them so she can live in one of their cabins for free. Pretty soon MC's start having sexual relations. The brothers realize they all have feelings for FMC. So why not have a foursome??
I liked the hot sex scenes. HEA was good too. The book had some grammatical errors.

This book was everything I wanted and more. The spice was instant and I absolutely loved it. From the very beginning, this book pulls you in with intense chemistry and doesn’t let go.

What really stood out to me was how it handled real-life situations so well. The abusive ex, her trying to protect her kids, and the struggle to escape that kind of past made the story feel raw and real. It added so much depth and emotion to an already steamy read.

And that ending? It couldn’t have been better. Satisfying, emotional, and exactly what these characters deserved.

sweet story

I really enjoyed this quick read! I love the characters & how they just seemed to fall together. I’m not sure exactly how we got from point A to point B some times, which made for confusion. That could have been helped with a good editor, I think. There were lots of grammatical errors (entire paragraphs copied) & the holes in the plot would have likely been discovered with a better eye taking a look at the book.

Why Choose

She was running away from her abusive ex. She found an out of the way place to stay. A lumber yard owned by three brothers. She had lost all trust in men, but after they offered her a job, her anxiety lessened. After hooking up with all three, life was getting better. Until the ex kidnapped her girls.. With the help from her exp military mountain men, they rescued the girls, ended the threat of her ex and got their HEA.

Eh, it was ok

It was ok. There were quite a few grammatical and punctuation errors. But it was an ok quick read. Quite cheesy in some parts and eye roll worthy for them being "special forces" and making dumb recon choices. But it's a story 😂 other than that. It was a cute pretty much instant love read with some decently written spicy scenes.

This is one of those books that need A LOT of revising.
The concept of this story was very interesting and I couldn’t wait to read. There was times that they put the wrong name. Another time a paragraph was write twice. If it had stayed more with the plot and not the smut, even with the bobos it would have been so much batter.

DNF 10%
Just couldn't get into it. The start mentions she helped the FBI bring down her ABUSIVE (now) ex. Then why is she & her TWO daughters not witsec?? Maybe slide a mention about witsec and why that wasn't an option... This book also did one my biggest pet peeves: way way too much internal dialogue during a conversation. With a better editor this could've been a decent story.

So I finished it

It has great potential. Needs some serious editing for Grammer and continuity. 90% slice of life/ relationship building and 10% story. The story was 5 % in the beginning and 5% at the end. Wish it had more plot scattered through out. The characters are good and the premise is good.

Good Read

This was a brilliant story with growly mountain men who fall for a super sweet FMC and her two kids. I loved the story and watching the relationships developing between the characters, it kept me turning pages right from the start. The characters were all great and I loved how protective the guys were. I would recommend giving this book a read.

pretty good

It was good fast paced read. I did notice quite a few spelling errors and name mix ups within the book but those are editorial mistakes.
The story was again good and fast paced. It wasn’t overly in depth but still not lacking. This is a good example of what I like for a quick read.

This was not good. There were a bunch of continuity errors that kept taking me out of the story. And one of the MMCs referring to the FMC’s lady bits as “her kitty”…just no. I skimmed most of this, and the whole thing was a bit painful.

I haven’t finished this book yet and I’m still deciding if I want to. There are so many grammatical errors in this book it’s actually starting to affect the story. I’m only about 30% done with it and several times the author has messed up characters names.

Sloppy. This thing was filled with all sorts of grammatical errors that I got lost trying to track everybody. The relationship between the brothers felt so forced that when they all finally accepted Patty, it felt ridiculous.

Good story

Good story overall about a single mom running from an abusive relationship with her 2 daughters, and happens to find 3 wonderful men along the way. There are a lot of grammar errors in the book, so be warned if that bothers you. Some good spice 😁🔥🔥

Needs editing

The story was cute but predictable which I didn't mind because I enjoy a good RH. The ⭐⭐⭐ is because this book is in some serious need of editing. Wrong words, incorrect character names, sentences repeated, it was pretty bad.
