“Why wouldn’t I feel like a loser? I’m a twenty-four year-old virgin with a broken vagina.”
After Audrey’s most recent attempt at sex with her boyfriend, Dylan, ends in complete failure she decides enough is enough and seeks professional help.
Audrey is not the victim of sexual abuse and there is nothing physically wrong with her. Audrey suffers from acute anxiety and fear of penetration. She meets with Dr. Markson and decides to undergo experimenting exposure therapy for anxiety and fears.
Dr. Markson enlist her graduate student, Graham in assisting with the exposure therapy. Graham was raised on a commune with free love and first had sex at the age of thirteen. While in college he is working as an escort, so he is obviously very comfortable with his body and sex.
Together they gradually explore and push her boundaries to make her feel more comfortable with the idea penetration.
What I loved...
The interaction between Graham and Audrey. It starts off slow and builds…and builds…and builds until basically I am like DO IT ALREADY!!
Graham is so patient and sweet to Audrey. He fights through his obvious arousal, to make sure she feels safe and comfortable. I loved Audrey’s internal monologue she was freaking hilarious and had me laughing out loud. She is real and honest with her feelings.
What I didn’t love…
I felt the ending was pretty abrupt. Since the book is about working through their issues, I would have liked to have seen where they ended up.
The only other issue I had was I felt certain scenes were rushed. After everything I experienced with the couple (yes, because I put myself in their shoes. LOL) I was hoping for something EPIC or maybe just more involved.

Four Solid, Lady Blue-Balls Stars!
"I'm a twenty-four year old virgin with a broken vagina. I can't even give that shit away."
Audrey has severe "vagina-block." As much as she's tried, she can't seem to lose her almighty V-card. It's well past comical...a serious sexual dysfunction. She has acute anxiety and fear of sexual penetration. When a sure-thing romantic Valentine's Day interlude with her boyfriend Dylan ends again in her sudden panic, she decides she needs help. Her friend Reese sets her up with a new doctor who refers her to a Sexual Therapist. She agrees to an experiment in exposure therapy...a gradual progression and exposure to sexual situations to lesson her crippling fears.
Graham, a graduate psychology student (and escort to make ends meet) is approached by Dr Markson to assist Audrey in this sturdy. He will be in charge of gradually breaking down her walls, decreasing her anxiety one session at a time. He has a knack for reading women and their needs emotionally and physically. Will this work? He hopes so. It'll get him published in psychology periodicals. This is huge for his future career. He just had no idea how he'd be captured by the draw that's Audrey...
I really enjoyed this book! It has alternating POV between Graham and Audrey which was perfect in getting in their heads. The reader feels Audrey's anxieties, her insecurities with Graham and her gradual breaking down of barriers to intimacy.
This book is one giant case of blue balls. If Audrey felt frustrated, the reader felt frustrated right alongside her. It wasn't rushed...each session focusing on another body part or progression in her therapy. It was angsty and I ate it up. Graham is just...perfect. He was able to read her cues and build that sense of trust she's lacked with previous partners. A perfect fit. A perfect specimen of male hotness I can't see Audrey turning away...
The ending I would've liked an epilogue for sure. We get closure but I'd like to see what a few months down the road holds for the characters. There's also one scene...honestly the most important scene in the book in my opinion, that I felt was breezed over instead of drawn out with explicit details...both physical and emotional. Each other session was explained in detail but this one...not so much. In that, I felt jipped. It might be me as other readers were okay with the short scene.
All in all a great DIFFERENT read. I love a new spin on a story and this one delivered in spades. It had a great balance of humor, sexual tension, mild angst, and heat.

This is a story that gripped me from the moment I read the synopsis. Taboo? Nah…. Sexual? Nah…. Different? Yes….. Thought Provoking? DEFINITELY!!
Now this is a story that I can sink my mind into and delve into the hidden meanings of “Why did she do that?” or “Why did the author choose to do this?” My brain worked double time while reading and my heart bled, laughed, cried, and loved.
Ms Queen took a very sensitive subject of phobias and put a spin on it. Oh and what a sensual spin it was….this book was based on BUILD UP and that in my book is what made this story work. The build up to the final act got me just as hot and bothered as ass slapping, tit grabbing, dick sucking sex. It wasn’t dirty, it wasn’t erotic ------ this was romantic and sensual.
Now you are probably wondering how the hell can a book about a girl who has a phobia to intercourse be romantic ---- that would be Graham ----- Graham stole the show in this book with how caring and unselfish he was toward Audrey. Then not only did we get the one plot of Audrey’s debilitating phobia – but we also got a spin on Graham and the secret he is hiding from Audrey. She isn’t the only one here who is damaged and needs the help of someone who cares.
These are two damaged souls who start out slow and end up being each other’s saving grace and strong foundation to deal with their hang-ups and hopefully build a future together.
I can’t express enough how much I loved this book after I gave it time to settle into my thoughts and realized that a lot of the little idiosyncrasies I first had about the book, were meant and put there for a reason. Yeah, I had some problems with a few things but after speaking with Ms. Queen about them..and how she patiently explained why they were that way….it all made sense to me and everything fell into place.
I think maybe the only hang up I have left is maybe an epilogue and DEFINITELY another book! I want to know what happens to Audrey and Graham….I feel like they are a part of me and I want to know if Audrey continues on the path to recovery and what will happen to Graham now? Oh Ms Queen…please get to work on a second book….Please??

With the help of a hippie therapist – Audrey is set for a “trial test” of exposure therapy and this is where Graham comes in. With his side occupation and his enrollment in the graduate Psychology program, he is the perfect candidate to “expose” Audrey to her fears. They slowly build a trust between them while working at settling Audrey’s fears…but with any two attractive young people – it doesn’t stay professional and they begin a friendly relationship outside of the therapy room.
Then we get some drama….some hurt feelings…..some “oh so good” feelings….some lies….some “uh-oh” moments….what? Did you think I was going to tell you anymore of the story??

4 "Exposing" Stars

"It makes me feel horrible. Worthless and broken. I've got this body and the desire, I want to have sex as much as the next girl but something about me is flawed. I hate it."
The story here is different and unique. Audrey is not a victim and doesn't have anything physically wrong with her. All she has is anxiety/panic attacks that are crippling to her. She has been in relationships but when the time comes to have sex, she can't. She has beaten herself up over it and now that she is in love with someone and still can't do the act, she breaks up with him and decides to get help. She is referred to a Dr. Markson at Duke University. Audrey, if she decides, will participate in an Exposure Therapy experiment.
Exposure therapy is when we expose the subject to their fear in small, manageable doses.
So Audrey will meet a man, get to know him over time, be exposed to him and then will have sex with him. Audrey decided to go for it and meets the man who will help her have sex. Enter Graham.....
He is gorgeous, he is comforting, he is patient, he is a psy grad student and to pay his bills.....he's an escort. Graham knows how to make a woman feel at ease, feel safe, and to be trusted. He is picked for the experiment by Dr. Markston because of his attributes. During the experiment, Graham must suspend all his escorting . He must be vested 100% in the experiment. This experiment must be successful in order to be published.
I enjoyed the buildup between Audrey and Graham. The story shows the vulnerabilities of both characters and how they are able to overcome them. After spending so much time together, can they just walk away from each other after having sex? Does Audrey ever find out about Graham's past, will Audrey return to the man she says she is in love with? There are many questions and they all get answered.
I loved that the book was in dual POVs. It adds an added layer for me to get both. I will say that I loved the ending. The growth that Audrey and Graham showed was remarkable. While I loved the ending, to me it ended too fast. I really would have liked an epilogue. I think it would give a nice closure to the story. "Where are they a year from now?"

This one was different. Different and original theme for a book. I liked it but it did not blow me away.
First off, don’t like the name Graham.
Their journey was interesting. She had to attend Therapy to try and overcome her fear and anxiety regarding sex.
Graham had been brought up in an unconventional environment. Audrey was more conservative.
I liked her friend. Some LOL moments.

What do you get when you mix a male escort, a sex therapist and a virgin with a penetration problem....? You get Audrey Exposed a sexy story about a lady learning to trust and embrace her sexuality.... A very interesting and sexilicious story with lots of angst potential....
Such a unique and wonderful premise for a story.....
Audrey needs to work on her trust levels, so she’s exposed to Graham, through therapy sessions. He takes her on a journey of massage and feeling and touch and intimacy. Just lovely! I REALLY REALLY enjoyed the therapy and could have taken even more detail from them.
Graham is just adorable, I love him, his history, his inner voice, his dialogue. Everything about Graham works perfectly for me!
He wants a career in psychology.
She wants to lose her fear.
He teaches her to how to use her body…. What can she teach him?

I was very lucky to have been involved in a beta read of this book. The premise of the story is fascinating and has all the necessary ingredients for a compelling story. It has the capacity to make you feel so much and, at times, it did just that!
The Good News!
As it stands at the moment I would rate the story a good 3.5 stars but I think if the author continues to develop certain elements of the story, it's very likely that Audrey Exposed will be a 5 star read for me.

Audrey is a 24 year old virgin- let me guess, you are sick of all those stories about the virgin. Well, this story is different, Audrey has tried to give that shit away. You see Audrey has tried to have sex, several times but her mind says yes but her VA-JAY-JAY goes into lock down mode and will not let that cherry get popped.
Audrey is broken. The first portion of this book, I felt so much pain for Audrey, she felt like an outcast, like she was missing out on so much. She loved her boyfriend and tried everything to get to the big moment with sex, but it just wouldn't work. Audrey finally gives in to go to a ob/gyn that her friend Reese knows. While at this medical exam the doctor refers her to a colleague who is doing a sex study for people with unique sexual issues. Seeing that she has no physical issues, it has to be all mental in nature. Audrey of course would rather have a broken vagina than be crazy, so she goes back and forth on whether or not she wants to move forward.
Audrey finally bites the bullet and meets with the good doctor, while there the therapy that is discussed will be hands on and lead Audrey through to the actual point of penetration. Audrey of course is totally thrown as she will be an experiment in losing her virginity and instantly thinks she will end up with a terrible partner to see this project through.
Graham is working on his project in the psychology department and his mentor approaches him about a unique subject for his finally project, Audrey. The monkey wrench, is that Graham will have to stop his job during this experiment with his subject. You see Graham, is a man whore...
Graham has set group of housewives he sees on a normal basis and he has paid his way through college. Putting these ladies off for this project is not an issue and Graham is committed to success of this project. When Graham and Audrey meet we see that both have an attraction for each other but Audrey's nerves make everything go slow.
The therapy piece of this book is paced slow, now that is not a bad thing, as I think it was more realistic for the kind of issue that Audrey had, but my friends be prepared for lady blue balls for a little while. It happens when Graham is so easy to love and you want him in your pants as much as Audrey's.
There are some twists and turns through the book and sometimes you want to scream at both Audrey and Graham, but again- its part of their ups and downs in therapy too and their growth throughout the book. More than anything, I missed an epilogue. Our characters both have their own issues and you find yourself wanting to know more about each, so an epilogue would be fantastic!

It happens when Graham is so easy to love and you want him in your pants as much as Audrey's.
There are some twists and turns through the book and sometimes you want to scream at both Audrey and Graham, but again- its part of their ups and downs in therapy too and their growth throughout the book. More than anything, I missed an epilogue. Our characters both have their own issues and you find yourself wanting to know more about each, so an epilogue would be fantastic!

3.5 EXPOSED STARS!
I rounded up because this was an unusual concept, I was intrigued throughout the story! The story was unique and interesting! The characters were mostly realistic!
Audrey is broken. I mean her vagina is broke. 24 yrs old and still a virgin, that's got to suck. Seriously! And before you think this isn't impossible, look it up. It's an anxiety disorder that makes it impossible to have sex. I couldn't imagine.
Audrey agrees to unconventional therapy...with a partner.
Graham is sex on a stick! There's nothing broke on his body, but emotionally he's closed off. Audrey and Graham partner up hoping to fix Audrey's 'broken-ness.'
The story was written at a good pace, enough time to grasp Aubrey's condition. The character development was on point. There were a few turns, but nothing over the top. I would've liked more angst, or build-up to the twists. The therapy was very clinical, however realistic! AND HOT AT TIMES!
I was hoping for a epilogue, a clue as to what happens with the relationship.

I like this book…a lot. It reminds me we all have hang-ups, suffer through anxieties, or act without sometimes understanding our own motivations. Audrey suffers from a serious sexually based anxiety. Graham is the graduate student who has been picked to help Audrey confront and deal with her personal demon. This book deals with a sensitive issue with honesty and humor. Can a manwhore psych student help a naïve young teacher resolve her fear of intimacy? And do it in a professional manner? I enjoyed the interaction between Audrey and Graham, the trust being built and friendship blooming. I love the snarky best friend, Reese, who is very supportive of her friend, Audrey, but has no problem calling her out when Audrey tries to evade her issues. The book is not the erotica I thought it was going to be; but instead, a tender love story that does have steamy scenes. Plus, it has middle age cougars, cheating boyfriends, and a wild horse. I recommend this book to all romantics 18+ due to strong sexual content.

This was a really different kinda read for me. I thought the author did a great job of researching this subject and I found this to be a very interesting read.
Audrey seeks professional help with her anxieties and fears. The wonderful Graham wants to help her overcome her phobia of having intercourse. The relationship between Audrey and Graham was fantastic.

I've no idea where to even start....I'm a huge Roxy Queen fan, love her, lover her writing and this by far I think has been my favorite story yet.
Audrey blew me away....I love her, but I feel so sorry for her. Graham is just what she needs, and he needs her as well.
Dylan is a douche....a complete douche and Reese is so right about him.
Sexy, funny, and well written....a must read.

What can I say about this book, let me start by saying it was nothing at all what I thought it was going to be. I loved every bit of it and could not put it down. The author did an amazing job with this book, I was completely invested.
Audrey has problems with intimacy. At the start of the book Audrey is attempting to have sex with her boyfriend Dylan and as usual it ends in disaster. She is convinced that she is broken so her friend Reece convinces her to seek professional help. The relationship between Audrey and her friend Reece is so funny, natural and refreshing. I laughed so much throughout the book with their interactions.
“It’s not your fault. I’m the one that’s broken.”
“You are not broken.”
“I am broken. Just ask Dylan. He tried to; well we tried, really tied. It hurt so badly; and God, it was embarrassing. My vagina is broken. She has to use the smallest speculum, but she was able to get inside. My vagina isn’t completely broken. It just won’t accept a dick. Maybe I’m allergic to c***.”
Audrey’s issues are not the cause of past sexual abuse or any traumatic experience. There is really nothing wrong with her except for anxiety. Audrey has a case of acute anxiety and the thought of actual penetration cause her to panic. Her doctor suggests she meet with a behavioral specialist. Dr. Markson runs a study dealing with the exposure to anxiety and fears. With the help of graduate student Graham Reece, Dr. Markson will expose Audrey to exposure therapy, gradually exposing her to more intimate forms of sexual contact helping to ease her anxiety. Audrey and Graham will discover and push her borders allowing her to get comfortable with the thought of penetration.
“We’re going to beat this anxiety, Audrey. I promise you.”
“You can’t promise that. It’s my problem not yours. Trust me; you’re going to get tired of how long this takes. Every other guy does.”
“Fair enough. What I can promise you is that I will always take care of you. I will be gentle and kind. I will follow your lead and remain patient until we figure this out.”
Graham is experienced in sexual relationships, is confident and knows what he is doing. Of course it helps that he is dropped dead gorgeous and screams sex. The experiment happens gradually over a period of time, it is not rushed. Each session focuses on introducing Audrey to another body part. Graham is great, he can tell what Audrey is experiencing, her pleasure, her discomforts or when she is shutting down. With that and over time, he and Audrey establish trust and confidence. What starts as an experiment gradually leads to more.
“You deserve to be treated like a goddess, Audrey. Doted on and pleasured. Your first time should be so much more than gritting your teeth and bearing the pain.”
“I always knew it would be worth it. From the moment I laid eyes on you, I wanted to take the sadness away, to make you whole.”
“You’re so f****** sexy, you don’t even know it. You have no clue. Everything you do, the little things, the shy things, men will lineup to have a chance with you. This is one place on your body I haven’t taste, Audrey, can I?”

The author tells the story in dual POV’s which I love because we get into both characters heads. We are able to feel Audrey’s concerns and uncertainties with Graham and her how she slowly is able to open up intimately. We are also awarded with Graham’s gradual feelings regarding Audrey and also with the secret he is hiding from her. Things cannot and do not stay professional especially with these two attractive and highly sexual people. They start to see each other out of the office.
"What does that mean? Everyting I did was in your hands. You and Dr. Markson, I trust you both.”
“I asked you to give it up because I’m falling apart inside thinking about you with someone else. I don’t want anyone else’s hands to touch you. I don’t want anyone else inside you. You were mine for all those weeks, only mine; and I’m not willing to let that go.”
Exposing Audrey has angst, drama, laughable moments, betrayal and OH-H***-No-THAT-DID-NOT-HAPPEN moments. I loved it, could not stop reading it. I swear to God, I felt the angst and frustration. I wanted them to get it on already (talk about sexual frustration). Graham was refreshing. He was patient, understanding and caring towards Audrey and he always thought about her needs. Even after their sessions Audrey was on his mind. Although he knew this was to help Audrey, he was affected by their sessions as well. OMG the build up to FINAL DEED had me really hot. It was not dirty, it was sensual, romantic, special and so worth the wait. Audrey’s thoughts to herself were hysterical, I swear I laughed so much, she is a riot.
“Of course it is. What’s worse than having a broken vagina? Being crazy, that’s what.”
“You know that term cock block? That’s what happened. My vagina clocked his c*** and the little bit he put in hurt like h***.”

If you are looking for a one of a kind book this is it. I have never read or heard about another book with a similar plot as Audrey Exposed. I found page after page of realistic emotions, angst, humor and courage that blew me away.
Audrey is a normal young woman to society. There aren’t any deep dark abusive secrets in her past. She was the normal teenager who at the age of 16 began thinking about having sex. She then went to college and had a run in with a guy at a party, nothing happened. Now she has recently broken up with her boyfriend who wants to talk to her but she is done. Audrey is perfectly normal except for one thing………she has panic attacks when it comes to having sex. Now we aren’t talking fast heart rate nervous, we are talking paralyzing terror kind of attacks. When she has finally decided that her life will revolve around her career and friends, that she will forget about ever having sex or a husband, her friend talks her into going to the doctor and giving it one more try. When the doctor tells her nothing is physically wrong with her but there is an experimental study being done, Audrey agrees to try it after some hard thinking and an abundance of nerves.
Graham is a psychology student who is helping the doctor who is conducting the study. While going to school he is using his upbringing of free love and open sex to earn some extra money. When he agrees to work with Audrey he knows he is going to have to give up sleeping with the three women for his extra income but he is ok with that since he has been saving and wants to further his career as a sex therapist. Graham’s sexual history dates back to his childhood really when he was able to get the girls in high school and then progressed to getting the mothers of kids he went to school with in bed. I tell you this so you will understand he has no issue with seducing a stranger with the goal of getting her in bed, for him this starts out as a chance to expand his knowledge and reputation, but little did he know Audrey might become more than a study project.
The author takes the reader through each step in Audrey’s therapy letting you into the emotions and fears along with the success when each tiny step is conquered. She painted a picture of Audrey’s life that I think most women, even if you don’t have the same issues, can connect with. I love how she wrote Audrey as a woman who had pieces of her that were broken but the courage to seek out a solution. I can only imagine if I had been Audrey, would I have had the courage to sign up for such an experiment/study. The author leaves us at the end of the book with mixed feelings. While it wasn’t written as a cliff hanger for me personally it did leave a door open that I could see another book coming out, continuing their story. I hope she does give us more of Audrey and Graham because I didn’t feel their story was over by a long shot.
If you are looking for a unique read that draws you into the characters’ lives then I would highly suggest this story. It keeps you interested, intrigued and provides not only the fear and doubt Audrey had but also the sensual victory she is striving for. I also enjoyed getting the chance to experience Graham’s take on life as a free spirit that doesn’t allow society to dictate how he feels regarding sex, love and living. You can tell the author worked very hard at giving the reader a great balance with these characters because they are as different at night and day, yet they make it work.

Audrey Exposed by Roxy Queen is a story like none other I have ever read before it it was intriguing from the very first page until the very last. I would rate this book with 3.5 stars and would definitely recommend it to all. Roxy Queen weaves a story of yearning, yearning to over-come the fears that haunt you and keep you from living the life that you truly desire. Audrey, a college senior, close to graduation, has intimacy issues in her relationships. I know what you may be thinking, who doesn't have some type of intimacy issue at one point in their life. It is not her issue with intimacy that is her ultimate fear, it is the actually anxiety that she is over-come with when she is about to have sex with someone. The book opens up with a romantic Valentine's Day date with her boyfriend where Audrey wants nothing more to take their relationship to the next level. Unfortunately when it comes down to the actual act of sex, the anxiety that she feels is so over-whelming it causes a panic attack forcing her to stop before it really ever begins. And that is where Graham comes in.
Graham is in the graduate program for psychology during the day and he is a paid escort by night for the rich and powerful woman of Durham. He believes that it is a win-win situation, giving them what they truly need to feel good about themselves in the confines of their lonely nights while he reaps the benefits achieving a release that he needs as well. That is until he becomes involved in a cutting edge experiment of exposure therapy in regards to having issues with sex.
Audrey is referred to Dr Markson by her friend Reese's doctor to help her overcome her emotional issues when it comes to having sex with her partner. Although she is apprehensive at first, her need to get better so that she can have the relationship she wants to re-kindle with her ex-boyfriend Dylan, she agrees to participate in the exposure therapy with Graham as her guide.
Through directives from Dr. Markson as well as Graham himself, Audrey is very slowly exposed to all aspects of intimacy, working her way to the full penetration of sex. She immediately trusts Graham because of the way that he puts her at ease in each situation that makes her uncomfortable, helping her to conquer her fears and pre-conceptions that have forced her from being intimate with men. With each encounter with Graham, the reader is able to see the change in Audrey, how she becomes more sure of herself, more confident, more a willing participant in her sexual life. After weeks of working with Graham she begins to lean on him as more of a friend and potential lover and less of a mediator in her therapy. Once she fully conquers it all and has sex for the first time with Graham, she is proud of the strides that she has made and is determined that she can have a better relationship with Dylan. After making love with Graham a few more times, even after the conclusion of the experiment, she knows that she is ready to be with Dylan and wishes that the circumstances between her and Graham would be different so that they could still be friends. Graham is struggling with having to let Audrey go, knowing that she will be sleeping with another man very soon.
Does Graham have feelings for Audrey? Does Audrey have feelings for Graham? Will they be able to make a relationship work despite all of the baggage that each of them carries? You will definitely have to read to find out!

Sometimes, you read a book and it just works for you on every level, and you literally can’t put it down, because it’s just kick ass.
I had the amazing opportunity a few months ago to read an ARC of Audrey Exposed by Roxy Queen.
Guys, this is a seriously killer book. Generally, I think I’m a fairly decent reviewer, but sometimes a book just makes you go ga-ga and it’s all emotion and feeling and well, coherent analytical thought just kind of exits the building.
Audrey Exposed is about a girl named Audrey who has a slight problem. Basically, she’s still a virgin, despite all her attempts to lose it. Now, the most obvious reason would be some deep, dark horrible experience in her past, right? But Queen doesn’t ever take the easy or the expected route. No, the main problem of Audrey’s is that she’s too used to maintaining con10374912_246033935582519_6700749796125772070_ntrol and the panic of losing it actually ends up causing quite a bit of pain.
And as we all know pain isn’t you know. . .conducive . . .to pretty much anything with sex.
Unless you’re Rihanna. And then, she’s kind of an exception to a lot of rules, don’t you think?
Anyway, so poor Audrey has struggled and struggled, and finally, she relents to see a doctor, who basically tells her there’s nothing wrong with her and suggests her for a psychological study.
I loved a lot of things about Audrey, but really what took the cake for me was how real she felt. She was a bundle of nerves and indecision and worry, but she could also laugh at herself. She never took herself too seriously. And she was so damn brave. I’m not sure I could have done what she did, and refuse not to let something so potentially awkward and embarrassing rule her life. I was kind of in awe of kick ass she was.
Graham, the “partner” that Audrey is paired with in the study has a really interesting background and I really liked the way Queen legitimately explained that background. I won’t give away too much, but trust me, it’s both shocking and believable. Not a combo you run across much in romance these days. Graham is also a delightful combination of absolute insane sexiness and sensitivity. He’s so sweet and careful around Audrey, but while at the same time, you know he wants more, and is dying to give her more. That is a really priceless combination, honestly.
What I think enjoyed the absolute most about Audrey Exposed was how Roxy Queen took each cliche of erotic romance and made them fresh and different. I know she’s been hard at work at a sequel, and I absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on it.
Seriously, do yourself a favor and check out this amazing, amazing book.

What I think enjoyed the absolute most about Audrey Exposed was how Roxy Queen took each cliche of erotic romance and made them fresh and different. I know she’s been hard at work at a sequel, and I absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on it.
Seriously, do yourself a favor and check out this amazing, amazing book.

If you like hot, steamy sexy times, a great build up to the end and a super HEA, you should read this book.

First let me start out by saying that this book is not your typical erotic romance. We don't just jump right into bed with Audrey and Graham; however, you can't help but get sucked into their world. Audrey has severe anxiety that prevents her from letting someone get close to her, including sex. When her psychiatrist tells her of a new experimental exposure therapy that would help her overcome her sexual anxiety, she is skeptical. However, she wants to be normal, so she decides to at least give the therapy a chance.
Graham is a post-grad student who is chosen to work with Audrey to help her overcome her sexual anxiety. Graham is no stranger to the bedroom and he knows that his particular skills will be needed to help her. Each session is designed to gradually help Audrey relax and enjoy even the slightest touches.
You will soon find yourself so wrapped up in Audrey's life and willing her to overcome her demons that you can't put the book down. You want to know how she is going to react and what Graham is going to do in order to soothe her. You want her to get better so that she feels better about herself. And you can't help but fall for Graham and how patient he is with her. He never forces her to do anything she is not comfortable with and gives her all the space she needs.
I really enjoyed this book. I seriously couldn't put it down and was not ready for it to be over. While the book does not necessarily have a cliffhanger, you are left wanting more. The good news is that the second book, Graham Defined, is set to be released later this year. I can't wait to see if these two will defy the odds and make their relationship work, I truly hope they do.

So, let me start this off by saying...HOLY BATMOBILE!!! This book is so awesome. It is unlike any other book that I have ever read...ever. It is so unique with the best storyline to keep you hooked so you can see if Audrey overcomes her fear. I will be honest I didn't see it coming when Graham's profession was revealed but I do think that it was a vital part of the story and without it the story wouldn't have been nearly as great.
Audrey is a 23 year old still holding her V-card and it becomes very apparent early in the book that it isn't by choice. She has a legitimate disorder and she seeks help to overcome it. Enter Graham and his colleague Dr. Markson. They have put together a series of sessions to help Audrey become Exposed...see what I did there? Well, let me tell you even though those sessions are a little bit clinical and scripted they are still hot none the less and I loved every bit of them. I love that over the course of her treatment her and Graham made such a connection that neither one knew what to do with it.
I am not going to give away any of the storyline, but I will tell you that if you are looking for a completely different type of romance to read then you should definitely give this one a try. It is a fresh new concept on a sexual romance and I for one have never read another book like it. It does not disappoint in any area that I generally look for in a romance read. There is chemistry between the main characters, there is an emotional connection with both characters, there is some steamy sexual tension, there is humor and there is some pain. But the ending is what I loved the most...it was unbelievable and it was completely satisfying.

Sinfully hot, erotically sensual and mind-blowing.
Queen has you hooked right from the minute you start reading this book with her highly detailed and sexual tale of a women whose vagina is broken and a manwhore who will leave you squirming for more. The storyline is so original and so damn good, it will have you wet before the end of the first chapter. A highly pleasure read (in more than one way), will leave you feeling dirty and sexy and addicted .... not wanting to put the book down.
Graham is such a sexy character and one that will be in your mind for days to come ... He is a sinfully delicious, beast of a man who is a taboo fantasy ... Teaching Audrey how to use her body and how to actually have sex. His character is delightfully charming and very sexy .... and Queen doesn't leave anything to your imagination ... Readers will feel sorry for Audrey at the beginning of the book, but by the end they will be squirming in their seats that it's her and not them ...
"God, you're beautiful," he says, stroking my hair back with his free hand. I wonder briefly if he means it, but I guess it doesn't matter. It feels real and all my questions disappear when he lowers his mouth to mine. He kisses me once, and then again, his soft tongue teasing against the tip of my own. Through a simple, sensual kiss, he has me panting, craving his mouth on mine.
This is one of the mostly highly erotic and pleasurable books I have read this year and definitely recommend to anyone who has ready FSOG, Driven, Crossfire Series, et c. as this book oozes sex and dirtiness and is definitely a must read. Queen has broken boundaries and borders with this great new series Audrey exposed and I can't wait for the next one in the series.

This was different, and I'm going to be honest here. At first I thought, "Sex exposure therapy? How kinky." I thought that as an erotic romance novel, the plot was quite convenient. I mean, following Audrey's path to free herself from sexual anxiety fits REALLY well with the typical rising and climactic action of a romance novel.
BUT...the story surprised me. Many of the therapy sessions were certainly titillating as they were meant to be, I'm sure. But there were also some very unsexy times, realistic to Audrey's anxiety. And Audrey's anxiety was realistic. That's what is so unique about this novel and something that I appreciated very much. I read a lot of virgin romances and you don't see bad sex portrayed very often. Audrey's "first time" when she finally achieves it, really isn't very sexy. I feel that's true to the real life experiences of many, many women. So in that sense, the story was very relatable.
Graham, to me, was fairly unintriguing most of the way through. I felt he was emotionally closed off and not a very "real" character at all. But that turned out to be the very point. His emotional awakening coincided with Audrey's sexual awakening and I thought that was very well done. Suddenly, Graham became human and thus, interesting. Unfortunately, that happens towards the end, so you'll have to wait for the next book (I assume???) to read more about him.
Anyway, I ended up quite liking the book and looking forward to more from Roxy Queen.

When I first started reading Audrey Exposed, I was wondering what I was reading and why I chose to read this book but then it all clicked. The storyline caught me off guard at first but it really is a great read. Audrey Exposed has a great unique and fresh storyline.
Audrey has extreme anxiety when it comes to sex. She has never successful been able to have sex. After finding out there is nothing physically wrong with her, she enters into exposure treatment. Exposure therapy is an unconventional therapy, that will expose Audrey to her fear and the hopeful end result is Audrey being able to have sex.
Graham is Audrey's partner. He has a lot of sexual experience. He is getting a stipend for his part in the study but before that he has had a pretty racy job. I was a little slow in realizing actually what he job was.
Graham and Audrey even though put into uncomfortable situations, hit it off pretty well. As the therapy sessions go on there are some hot and steamy scenes. Audrey and Graham both have thing that they need help with. Their characters are so loveable they you can't help but root for them both to get a HEA.

Audrey Exposed is a refreshing, funny romantic story. I have not read a story with this type of plot.
Audrey is a young woman in her early twenties who is still a virgin; but not by choice. She wants to have sex but suffers from panic attacks and anxiety when she tries.
Left with no other alternatives, she signs up for an experiment with a sex therapist. Over three months, a stranger will gradually help her overcome her fears.
Graham is no stranger to sex. Growing up on a commune with free spirits, sex was just the natural thing to do. And now that he gets paid for it, even better.
Being intimate with someone for a long period of time awakens feelings in them both. When the experiment is over, neither wants to lose the other.
This story was great. The author did a wonderful job writing a story about a problem that I think many people have that we don’t know about.
Audrey has shy and naïve at first, but once she opened up, she was sexy and fun. Graham was a sweetheart and very caring. They are a great couple.
I am not sure if there is a book 2 or not but I would like to see their story continue.

I've been burned many, many times when I've downloaded a free book with very few "verified purchase" reviews. But the premise really intrigued me, so I took a chance and I'm glad I did.
Audrey has major anxiety when it comes to sex. I found it refreshing that she didn't have any major trauma in her past, she just wanted to be able to have sex like a normal person. She volunteers for experimental therapy, which required a bit of belief suspension on my part. I loved Audrey, she was a great character. She was funny, honest and real.
Graham is the grad student that is helping Audrey. Honestly, I didn't really like him until the book was nearly over. He grew up in a commune and is pretty "free" when it comes to sex. He pays for school/life by being a prostitute for bored housewives. Yuck. But I did like the way Audrey made him look at his life in a new light and want to change.
The final assessment of the therapy took me by surprise and I liked the twist the therapist put on things.
There is going to be another book in this series, but it does not end with a cliffhanger. I wouldn't exactly call it a HEA, more like a HFN. I look forward to more.

I enjoyed Audrey's brave search to overcome her anxiety and fears over her sexual hang-up. The premise with the experimental project was handled in a creative way. I wasn't sure at first about Graham; he is a male escort. However, his care about Audrey and their growing relationship changed my mind. There is a bit of a twist at the end that made it even better.
Audrey was relatable, her pain was palpable. This issue was handled erotically and skillfully. The sex scenes escalated, but added to the storyline. I found myself rooting for Audrey, when she made a decision that could have ended badly. The growth of her character and willingness to face her fears was key.
Graham is not quite at the level of Carter Hightower, from Roxy Queen's Taboo series, but he is a solid, strong character worth getting to know.
Roxy Queen is one of those authors that I look forward to reading, and this is just one more example!

When you have a book that makes you feel the feels, you immediately love that book. When the book talks about a fear of something, you want to read more of the book. You want to turn the pages as fast as you can so you get to understand what makes that fear. And when the main character is afraid of the one thing that brings pleasure to most people, you start to feel for that character, you want to help that character break that hold the fear has on her.
Audrey will go to any lengths to overcome her fear. She has tried everything, this therapy session is her last hope.
Graham is a playboy. He has his "customers" and he does everything he can to make sure they are pleased with his work.
When Audrey and Graham meet to help cure her fears, are they able to put their feelings aside? Or will they break each other in the process?
Man, I love reading Roxy's books. She makes me want to read even more. I kept trying to turn the page after it was done because I NEEDED more Audrey and Graham! Get this book!!

Exposure therapy made for an interesting background for this contemporary story and was the perfect structure for the slow build up of romance between Audrey and Graham. There were several chunky breadcrumbs of foreshadowing tossed along the way while Audrey was undergoing her therapy and even though I knew when our characters would likely meet again post-therapy, I enjoyed how the author played out the various scenes, the character interactions, and conflict resolutions.
I gave this story 4 stars instead of 5 because the edition I read was sprinkled with a few typos and early on in the story was I honestly thought Margaret and Dr. Markson might have been the same person. Maybe it was a transition between scenes, or whatever. Anyway, the confusion was short lived.
I really liked Audrey and Graham. They are genuinely nice people who you'd enjoy being around. I look forward to reading the author's upcoming story about Graham.

I teetered on whether I liked it or not. the concept was good, the romance I just didn't feel. reactions felt more physiological rather than want and love and attraction. I felt like the H was more into his clients than the h. then all of a sudden bam he wants more, after sleeping with his client. but when she slept with her ex then turned around in less than 24 hours and slept with the H I was really turned off. just gave me the willies.
it took me three attempts to get into the book and I really struggled to stay in. I however am a little stubborn so I made myself continue to read....though several chapters were skipped. I don't want to whether I would recommend this book or not so I'll just let you decide whether to take a chance
