So if you know me, you know I don't usually do sweet books, but this one is by one of my favorite authors and part of an amazing series, so of course I had to give it a read.
Hal and Mia are adorable together, and their romance is so perfect... I mean, what romance story that includes paintball, tasers, and kidnapping wouldn't be perfect?
I also really enjoyed the interactions with the friends and family around them.
While not all the little plot lines are completely wrapped up, Erfman wrapped them up in a pretty perfect way for a novella without leaving a cliffhanger. In my opinion you also don't have to read the other books in the Mr. M's Bookshop series to understand this novella, but reading them allows you to enjoy little Easter eggs.

I am so beyond excited to see my sweet baby Hal find his forever. This was an adorably beautiful story. With just the right amount of absolute unhinged fun. It was also so nice to get to see more of Mr Ms backstory. I cannot wait to read more about this fearsome group of friends and Mr M’s bookshop.

I absolutely adore this novella! It's my first read by M. R. Erfman so I didn't know what to expect but I was far from disappointed! A kidnapping, taser, and paintball? Yes please! It sang to my dark little soul! I now want to go and read the series this is a part of!
