It took me a few pages to become familiar with the rhythm of this book. Meaning, because this book is a compilation of Sadhguru's talks to various audiences at different times, such as during business school convocations or to students at Isha Foundation, it took me some time to get used to the spoken language being translated to written words. I have no doubt of the impact Sadhguru's words make in real life, when you are watching and listening to him speak. That same effect seems to take a while through written words, but maybe that is the nature of reading something that was originally a discourse.
Given that, I did resonate with a lot of the points in this book, they were both reassuring to the path that I am on, as well as inspiring.
This was not new information. In fact, if you have studied Vedanta, many of these stories and narratives will sound familiar to you. However, I firmly believe that we cannot read it enough times in our lifetimes. And, Sadhguru's has his own unique in how he presents ancient knowledge to a modern audience. We have to continually be reminded, motivated, and guided on this spiritual path, and this book is a beautiful way of touching the spirit and reconnecting us with our higher-selves.
