Aurealis is Australia's longest running small-press science-fiction and fantasy magazine. This issue from 2012 features two short stories: the first is a retelling of the story where Medea murders her brother, while the second presents an alternate version of the Australian outback where farmers are menaced by werewolves.

The two short stories are followed by an essay pondering trilogies, which is mostly listing Australian spec-fic authors (and Brandon Sanderson) who, as of 2012, had written 3+ book series. The rest of the magazine is a series of media reviews, though these all felt a little brief.
