One star for potential in the story, second star for art, but overall…someone get this man and his demonic toenails away from the supposed “love interest.”

I get he’s a demon’s son or yada yada so he’s gonna be morally gray, but….no. Some of his “actions” I just can’t look over with his love interest.

Review for up to chapter 78 (seasons 1 to halfway through 3, caught up as of 5 Feb 2025)

This manhwa 😭 It has to be one of my favourites in its genre. The whole setting is really interesting, the plot is engaging, and there is pining, development of feelings and genuine care between the two mains. And can we talk about this art???? It is beyond stunning, and it is clear that so much care went into the smallest details, such as fabric patterns and scenic background. Our two mains are also incredibly stunning, with a consistency in their depiction that is nice to see.
I would say, definitely check the CWs and the genre, but it makes for such a beautiful read, I can only highly praise it and hope that we continue to get more chapters translated soon!

Mindblowing art and great concept involving the Korean folklore of death and its underworld.

Both MC and ML have been well established story-wise, and regarding what drives them. And the first arc has already brought them together out of mutual benefit... so yay? But still quite angsty!

Dark and gripping, I like how it ends with things worsening after it had become slightly better.
