This is not a sweet Christmas romance
It's emotionally brutal, with heartbreaking family dysfunction and heart wrenching decisions to be made. Kamiyah and Caden do belong together and they do love each other, but it's not a happy, carefree love, it's a love that is under pressure and always being watched and judged with a viper waiting to take advantage of the smallest crack. Their marriage is a show to be performed every day, which in turn allows them the smallest slither of happiness and a speck of hope that the future may be different....maybe.
For me this book doesn't fit with the rest of the Man of the Month series, it's very dark, an emotional tornado that leaves you a little dazed and unsure how you feel or if Caden and Kamiyah are truly happy and would make the same choices again. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Loved the story right up till the typo where the female heroine changes name
Good story lots of heart and an evil villain who does her best to ruin her niece's life. Kamiyah is under the protection of Cayden now so Aunt Priscilla is on notice.
