He’s nothing she needs … but everything she wants.
Sometimes I wonder what the heck is wrong with me.
I have a perfectly suitable boyfriend. He checks all the boxes—handsome, successful, attentive (sometimes a little too attentive).
My young girl daydreams of being carried off by an all-too-charming highway robber or swooning into the arms of an extremely hot swashbuckling pirate were left behind with the rest of my childhood.
Then why on earth has the mysterious stranger who floated into town on a ramshackle boat captured my undivided attention?
From his cocky, tilted grin to those unbelievably big arms … he looks like someone who trouble follows.
Handsome as he is, Dex is certainly not boyfriend material. Then again, perhaps I’m looking for something more than perfectly suitable…
Only I, Aria Lovely, could make such a mess of things so fast and still wind up dizzy-headed for the wrong guy.
Falling for the Wrong Guy is a dual POV cozy, sweet romance that has all the swoon and sizzle without the spice—Kisses only.

At first I wasn’t sure what to think of the main female lead in this one. She was definitely a stressed out mothering figure that jumped to conclusions and held a grudge, but as the story unfolded, she grew on me as she learned to relax a bit. I really enjoyed the main male lead, Dex, and the bit of a mystery that went along with his character. His character was solid (inside and out).
Aria is the oldest Lovely sister and owner of a successful cafe in Whisper Cove. Everything seems to be going well for her and she even has a check-list perfect boyfriend. Then a run-in with new-guy-in-town, Dex, makes her question things.
Dex is a mysterious newcomer with a troubled past. Meeting Aria wasn't in his plan, but she may be just what he needs to plant roots and shake off the trouble that seems to follow him everywhere.
A strong leading lady, tall dark and handsome man, cheeky gull, and treasure hunt make a perfect combination for the second book in the Whisper Cove sweet romance series.
This book is the second in a series and follows, Aria, an independent, strong, and determined woman who has a bad first encounter with Dex. Dex is kind of a misunderstood guy who is rough around the edges. He has a difficult background and trouble seems to follow him. I really enjoyed seeing more of the Lovely Sisters and reading more about their childhood with Nonna. It just adds depth and dimension to the characters and their stories. The descriptions paint a vivid picture in my mind. I also enjoy the narration moving between Dex and Aria to get varying perspectives and storylines for both characters. The treasure hunt story was riveting and interesting. A tad darker than a typical romance story, but it worked really well. I enjoyed the characters and seeing their stories, but I felt the story line between Aria and Dex was a little....sparse. It felt like it was more of an unspoken connection and not enough time spent on them actually connecting for real. Don't get me wrong, I believe in unspoken connections, I just wish there had been more actual connection and swoon moments. Still a good read and enjoyable. A twist from typical romance books, but a good one.
Very good story. Enjoyed Londons writing. Story was well put together and the characters were very well developed. I loved the b interaction between the sisters. And so glad Aria decided to spread the leadership of the family around a bit. She carries too much weight around her shoulders. And I like Dex. He's so sweet.
WOW! I finished the new book, "Falling for the Wrong Guy" but wished I hadn't. I'll just read it again, and again, and again! At times I found myself not breathing for a long periods of time because I was so engrossed in the story. At other times I found myself breathing too rapidly and in danger of passing out, depending on what was happening in the story. A fantastic read!
This was a sweet second story about the Lovely sisters. This book centers on Aria, the oldest sister, as she navigates her love life. The sense of humor that was prevalent in the first book continues with this sweet story.
Good story with great characters. Loved the suspense aspect. Was slightly predictable and like the first ended a bit abruptly. Overall though, a cute sweet story.
I really enjoyed this book! The plot was interesting and even though the story was somewhat predictable I was glad for a happy ending! I love that about London Lovett's stories!
This is the second book of the Whisper Cove Sweet Romance series by London Lovett. It centers around Aria, the oldest of the 5 Lovely sisters. This story is mainly about Aria and the new man in town, "Dex" whom she first sees in a disastrous meeting when taking a good friend some lunch. You will learn much more about all the Lovely sisters, as this story also delves more deeply into the day to day lives of the very closely knit sisters. You will also see how the relationship of "Dex" and "Aria" slowly develops. You will especially love the Pirate/Bird reference in Chapter 26. It made me laugh. Unlike the first book, this story had a bit of a different spin on it. Dex was not who Aria thought he was at first, nor was he what she was looking for, but in the end she found he was just what she needed.
This book was amazing!!! I literally could not turn the pages fast enough. Full of adventure and suspense. I love the close knit sisters and the journey of each one finding their Prince Charming!!. Dex is such a great character and fits into the story so well!!

I am totally loving this series. The next sister is Aria and she is as fiesty as she is loving. She meets someone totally wrong for her and the adventure starts. It was awesome and the ending was swoon worthy. I received my copy as a gift.
