Holy Crap!!! Glenna Maynard completely blew my mind yet again. She seamlessly mixes Sarah's (Rumor's) past memories with the present. Allowing us to see exactly how bad her life was. So bad that she wanted the Grim Reaper to take her away from it all. Little did she know, she was going to get her wish, and her life would never be the same again.
Grim has searched and searched for Red's daugher Sarah for years, at times neglecting his own daughter. He finally finds her and saves her from the hell she had been living in, in a way that only Grim could. Let me tell you this scene was graphic but the men who had her deserved what they got.
Rumor is written in both Sarah and Grim's points of view giving us an insight to how they felt making the story that much more real. We get to see Grim being the bad ass is to everyone around him but it was his inner thoughts...the softer side of him that surprised me the most. Sarah grows to be a strong young lady regardless of what happened to her in her past. She was determined to avoid the life that claimed her mother, she would not be an Old Lady.
Now don't get me started on Baby. I would say that 95% of the time when she was either opened her mouth or was around I wanted to jump into my Kindle and strangle the life out of her.
Rumor is a dark, twisted ride that will have you on the end of your seats the whole time. Just when I thought I could let the blood return to my knuckles Glenna once again sends us spiriling down a dark, winding road. Wow, I didn't see that twist coming. It sent me for a loop I can only imagine what it will do to Grim.
I cannot wait for the next installment so we can see what Grim, his family and the Black Rebels MC have in store for us.

Not sure what more to write as a review that wasn't said in the blurb. Maybe tell you how Grim wasn't a father because he spent 14 years looking for Red's other daughter. How of course someone was tipping them off each time he got close.
I will tell you the poor child Sarah went through hell and back. How Baby is a spoiled rotten little girl who I hope someone puts her in her place.

After a dreadful book one I thought I ... give book two a chance. Yup, I'm nuts.
So it was marginally better, hence two stars.
But this is still a bad, bad book.
The lack of writing skills is evident, it all reads like a juvenile and shallow romantic fantasy, not a biker romance.
This is the end of my journey with this author. Not good enough.

There is so much betrayal and pain within these pages. I was just in shock and I kind of still am. I knew Grim had some funny feelings surrounding his club, but man this shocked me.
He sure deserves some peace after the life he has led.

Loved this book. This is a very good series. This book had so many emotions in it, from anger (I was so angry at a few of the people I wanted to climb into the book and hurt some one but Grim did it for me so all is well) raw passion ( Grim finding love again) happy ( when Grim got his revenge I actually said YES out loud.) Rumor lived a life no girl should ever have to but she survived and is still a good person. Baby needs to mature some she's kinda bratty right now but she's a teenager so some of it is expected. Grim, Oh my Grim. Love him.

This book wasn't about Sarah/Rumor at all. It was all about Grim seeking revenge on Red and his search for Sarah. All together there were probably like three or four chapters regarding Sarah and like one on her after she became Rumor. Grim is still nasty as fuck with all the screwing he was doing, hopefully Sunshine will steer him on the correct path because he's kind of gross and his daughter Baby...well she needs to grow the fuck up because homegirl acts more like a club whore than its princess! Yuck!!!!

Glenna Maynard writes the best MC romance books. Some may not even call this romance but it's the twisted kind of romance that I like. Rumor(Sarah) is the daughter of Red that she was trying to find before she was murdered. This girl is put through the wringer. All she wants to do is fit in but her sister "baby" doesn't make that easy. This was a good read. I recommend if you like MC books.

There's lots to tell in this book and it continues with the storyline from the first one in the series. This is a mix of Sarah and Grims story because she's Reds daughter, the one Grim is searching for. He has a promise he intends to keep and follow through with. It's a page turner that hooks you from start to finish. There's action, a few twists and a surprise or two. You even got some revenge brewing with justice coming to those who are being tracked down. It's a really great story and I look forward to more of this series.

This book moves along the timeline from book 1, Grim: The Beginning, starting out 10 years later. Red’s death has so deeply affected Grim that he is no longer the man he used to be, he is hell bent on avenging Red’s death, getting revenge of his own and finding Red’s first daughter who lives with her madman of a father, Benji of the Devil’s Rejects MC.
Grim has left his and Red’s daughter, Baby, back in Drag Creek, in the care of and being raised by Slim’s wife, Foxie and with their two boys, Rebel & Striker. Whenever he does come home, he does see Baby, but at 10 years old, she hates him. She wants her father, but since he is always on the road, she continually acts out in school and runs wild at home. Another 3 years pass without success of finding Red’s first daughter, Sarah, and Grim starts to accept the fact that he failed in his endeavor and decides to move back home permanently.
His being home is means that Baby moves back in with him, though she refuses to call him dad and when she gets in trouble, she runs to Foxie. She is still wild, but Grim tries to be a father to her, the one that he should have been all along. Being home also means the ability to meet someone and possibly fall in love again.
When Grim gets a new lead on Sarah he jumps all over it, hoping to finally fulfill Red’s last wish. Sarah has grown up in seclusion and despair with her dad, his best friend and a shared woman. She grew up being told that one day Grim would come for and he would kill her, and that was why they had to move constantly. Her childhood was so terrible, that she began to wish for the day that Grim would find them and kill her, ending her suffering.
But just because he’s able to fulfill Red’s last wish doesn’t mean that their daughters will get along. Baby may act immature, but looking deeper, it’s really the fact that she hasn’t ever had her dad in a parental capacity and she certainly doesn’t want to share him after only having him for a few months.
There are some wild and crazy revelations, some that could have been suspected, and that just sets up the drama for the next book. I really like how the author includes MC drama along with all the personal drama and I am looking forward to the next book/s in this series.

I am in love with this series! Glenna is an amazing author. I can't wait to read Baby which is book 3 in the series.
Sarah a.k.a Rumor is spirited, fiery, and amazing. Though she has literally been through hell most of her life she has not let any of it decide her fate. She has a Bette life now and can do anything she wants with her life. Though it will take time as she continues to heal. She has so much going for her and I cannot wait to see where her story takes her after this.
Baby has grown up in unusual circumstances. She knows somewhere in the world she has a sister but she never thought there would be a day when her sister would live with her. She is fiery, wild, and a hellion just like her momma. Her dad Grim was around very little while she was younger and now she is hell on wheels since he is back and trying to be a father. She is not able to he controlled by him and doesn't plan on ever allowing it. Though ahe does listen when he lays down the law. That is until he ahows up with her long lost sister.
Grim is trying to keep his promise to save her daughter from Benji. But so far no luck. Someone always gives Benji a heads up. Grim is finally given a break. Grim’s story continues in all its gritty rawness. No punches are pulled, it is in your face MC dark. I love Grim - he fights for his family, for what’s right, against those who worked against him. So glad he found his Sunshine! 💛🖤

Bless his heart. I love Grim! His heart broke when he lost Red. But he kept his promise and searched for Sarah for years. Whenever he got close, somehow they'd be gone. But he never gave up. Baby, his and Red's daughter is very troubled. Trouble being the way to describe her. She's feisty and stubborn and definitely a handful. There are a number of twists and turns. You'll stay on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next. You'll learn that some people are worth trusting, when others aren't. Some people were just plain deceitful. You'll find Sunshine where you least expect it and love her! So glad Grim is happy. But there will be some changes you didn't see coming.
Hopefully this isn't a spoiler, but Sarah is Rumor. That's the name she picks to go by. Baby and Rumor and those cute little hellions, Striker and Rebel, sons of Slim and Foxie will be the main characters in the next book we're told we can expect later this year.

Grim continues on his quest to find Sarah...a promise he made to Red and when he finally does, it is not before her young life has been turned upside down and she has been victimized for years and sexually abused.
Meanwhile, brothers are keeping BIG secrets, traitors are in the club's fold and Baby is growing up to be a spoiled brat.
Grim finally finds a woman to make him whole again and the lies and secrets held come to light, causing some big changes in leadership.
The kids will be the focus in the next book..Slim's boys and Baby and Rumor (Sarah) form an interesting web of entanglements and it looks to be very entertaining and full of drama.
Better than the first book but still a tad confusing and jumps around quite a bit, making it hard at times to keep up with the fast paced action.

WOW!! I love this series!!! I absolutely love the real, raw, and gritty emotions of the characters. 10 years after Red was killed, Grim is set on revenge and fulfilling a promise all while trying to be a dad to Baby. However, he will stop at nothing to get his revenge and fulfill the promise he made to Red. Grim and Rumor will take you on a ride that you will not forget!!!
I was completely drawn into their world from the first page. I could not put this book down. I cannot wait to see what is in store next.

Another fast paced read, one with a sort of HEA but it sort of takes a back seat with all the twists that unravel in this Book, I don't really know what to say as I don't want to ruin anything for the next reader, well worth the read that's for sure!! .... Hot you bet ya ... smoking, some heavey subjects .. from a young age ... hard to read , that's for sure, but a Book that you really have to remember what's been said to keep up with what's gone down, very exciting edge of ya seat stuff that's for sure... Now to see what goes down in Baby... the third book in the series that ya don't want to miss... these fast paced MC tales... So Get One Clicking People... :-)

Gritty, raw, emotional and captivating, Rumor picks up in the life and times of Grim and the Black Rebels MC, weaving a dark tale of revenge, redemption and revelations. Rumor's life is scary and she prays for the boogie man her parents use to scare her to come take her away from it. Failing to find Red's daughter, Grim is ready to settle down, allowing him to see there is still good left in his life but that's when he gets what he wants and Rumor might get her wish. This was my favorite book by Glenna Maynard so far. I was engrossed and can't wait to read what happens next!

This was the first book that I have read from Glenna Maynard. Wow I was blown away from this epic story. Rumor tells the story of Grim a biker from Black Rebel Riders' he is on the mission to find his daughter. There is lots of action and suspense all thrown into Rumor. I couldn't put this down I was so stoked to read it. Rumor has been on my kindle for awhile and I finally got to it to read it. I highly recommend this series by Glenna Maynard I added all the others to my wish list. Can't wait to read the others from the Black Rebel Riders'.

Really enjoyed the second book in this series and the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I didn't like it that Grim went with Foxie and every time Baby was mentioned I wanted to slap her face. I hope in Baby's book that she changes and I wont have to throw my kindle at the wall. Was happy that Grim got his HEA and could not believe it about Red, usually I can see things coming in books but that did catch me of guard.

In this Grim is trying to keep a promise he made to Gypsy but in doing so forgets about his other commitments, but as soon as he realises he needs to concentrate on his other commitment he gets given the information he's been after for the past 13 years. Will he be able to keep good on his promise to Gypsy ?? Will his other commitments suffer ??? Hold on tight it's one hell of a ride and things will only get bumpier !!!

Unexpected
I'm not an idiot and I can usually sense things coming but I was wrong this time. My heart aches for Rumor and she deserves a good life.
Grim's life is improving and looking not so.....grim. Now if he could just get a better grip on Baby (who obviously needs her dad). I look forward to Baby's story and catching up with Rumor's life in the next book. Each one just gets better!

Glenna Maynard continues this series by moving straight into the next part of the story with very little recapping- this is refreshing to say the least.
The intrigue and mystery of this club and it's history is fascinating, but you have to wait until the end to find out. This is a fast paced book that has a strong storyline with excellent character descriptions making it easy to visualise as you read.

this series just keeps getting better with every book! holy shit the suspense was fab and its great to find a book that again i don't know whats gonna happen and the author surprises me again!!! love that. mc biker books are so formulaic and mediocre at the minute.
can't say that about this series. love the writing style.

I bought book 1 and 2 together. This book was a definite improvement over book 1 but still left many unanswered questions. The actually covers about 16 years in the life of Grim, Baby (his daughter) and Sara (his step-daughter). I can't quite identify it but there is something there that keeps me distant from the book and prevents me from really engaging with the characters.

WOW! NO words! I feel as if this book series has taken over my mind!! It will stay with you, you will sit and try to figure out were the next one is going to go! Strong characters some you may hate and some you will love,but all the same you will love it! I am going into the 3rd one and I am super excited that there is even more to read. Stop wasting time and read this series!
