In modern-day Tbilisi, taxi driver Otar clings to his vision of traditional Georgian values while watching his beloved city embrace Western influences. When his teenage sister Tinatin disappears into Lysa Hora - an underground nightclub beneath a Soviet-era stadium - Otar's search for her leads him into a nightmarish underworld where ancient Georgian folklore crashes into contemporary culture.
There he discovers his sister captive to an ancient evil from Georgian mythology. As Otar enters further into the demon's layer, he must question everything he believes about tradition, culture, and what it truly means to be Georgian.
Part urban fantasy, part cultural commentary, "Lysa Hora" weaves together elements of Georgian mythology with a compelling exploration of national identity, family loyalty, and the clash between ancient traditions and modern values.
